Os Eternos Passarinhos

Um filme atípico e inesperado juntando Pasolini e Totó numa parábola sobre as desigualdades no mundo e sobre a incapacidade humana para mudar, condenando-se assim a uma eterna pobreza e injustiça.

Apesar do fatalismo da mensagem e da seriedade do tema a obra é transmitida plena de ironia e até de forma poética, para o que muito contribui a figura tragicómica de Totó.

Um filme inteligente e divertido servido numa belíssima cinematografia a preto e branco de Delli Colli (que além de cinematógrafo habitual de Pasolini também assinou as obras primas de Sérgio Leone, entre outras).

Um Pasolini soft mas que não perde qualidades por isso.

The Eternal Birdies

An atypical and unexpected film joining Pasolini and Totó in a parable about the inequalities in the world and the human inability to change, thus condemning itself to eternal poverty and injustice.

Despite the fatalism of the message and the seriousness of the theme, the work is transmitted full of irony and even poetry, to which the tragicomic figure of Totó contributes a lot.

An intelligent and entertaining film served in a beautiful black and white cinematography by Delli Colli (who, in addition to being Pasolini's usual cinematographer, also signed the masterpieces of Sergio Leone, among others).

A soft Pasolini that doesn't lose qualities for that.
