i'm going to he so fucking insufferae about theatre btw. just started my job at the theatre, with which i'm already obsessed bc their plays and stuff are just plain brilliant i could go on rants for hours and boy am i gonna know these plays by heart once i've sat through one half a dozen times. AND i joined a theatre class at school. with four other people but. i'm so incredibly motivated. i NEED. anyway it's tumblr y'all know i regularly go full obsessed nerd on things i am a Freak when it comes to these things and BOY is it gonna be Bad with the theatre

im thinking about divorced sam and max and imagining how its just because theyre at a low because theyre getting old and its all too much and all too sudden and its not really a going distant thing and losing feelings but rather the worry of tying the other one down for so many years practically their whole lives so making a decision to split and stay just friends so to not take all freedom from the other but it doesnt work it just turns them very cranky and they eventually find their way back to one another cause they just cannot be apart nor with anyone else ans they cant have this work/friends only relationship they just have to talk it out and realize they both just want the best for one another but the best thing that happened to both of them Is the other and having one another and they simply cannot split. and thats where the another marriage happens.. i wonder how long they would be apart and if it would be abrupt or starting from stupid misunderstanding arguments

"You need a break," Ai declared as he crossed his arms. 

"Maybe, but not now. I'm so close to finishing this, I'll take a break when I finish."

"You said that last time, three hours ago." Ai would have rolled his eyes if it would have made a visual difference. 

Naturally, Yusaku ignored him. Honestly, Yusaku probably would have continued to work until he passed out. Luckily, Yusaku had a kind and considerate and thoughtful and concerned partner who made sure he got enough rest to not crash. Ai just needed to get big, in this form, he was easily and frequently ignored. 

Ai stretched out his body, six tentacles emerged from his expanded body as he grew much larger. Two tentacles wrapped themselves around Yusaku's head and covered his eyes. 

The occasional tap of Yusaku's fingers against the keyboard stilled altogether as he released a heavy sigh. 

"Ai…"

Two more tentacles loosely wrapped themselves around Yusaku's shoulders, the last two wrapped around his waist. 

"You need some shut eye."

"I'm fine." 

Ai tugged Yusaku closer to him. "Nu-uh. There's no escape, Yusaku." 

Yusaku sighed again, softer this time as he let Ai smush him against his chest. Ai's three eyes closed as he held Yusaku tightly against him. After several minutes, Yusaku wrapped his own arms around Ai and tilted his head enough to lightly press his lips against Ai's chest. Then he pulled away just enough to breath. 

"Ai, you can uncover my eyes now." 

"No way. You'll just go back to working." Ai's tentacles slipped away from Yusaku's head.

Yusaku pulled away, but he couldn't get too far as Ai kept his hold on Yusaku firm. Yusaku placed his hands on the tentacles wrapped around his shoulders. 

"I want to get food."

"Mmm."

"... I need you to let go of me." 

Ai had done his job of dislodging Yusaku from his computer, so he slipped away from Yusaku as he returned to his small Ignis form. "Fine, fine. Bring me some chicken nuggets. The stuffed ones looks so good." 

"I'll bring a big box and eat them all in front of you." 

"You're so mean, a total sadist." 

Yusaku let out a low amused chuckle as he ascended the stairs and left the apartment. 

Roboppi strolled past the computer and looked up at Ai. 

"I told you I can get Yusaku to stop working whenever I want." 

Roboppi blinked their digital eyes. "Master had been done with his project half an hour ago. He's just been messaging people ever since." 

"Eh?" Ai turned to look at Yusaku's computer, whose screen had long since turned dark. Ai briefly connected himself with Yusaku's computer and found he had been messaging in a group chat recently. 

Ai sighed, Yusaku only took a break because he was probably already planning on taking one anyways.

LEGALLY everyone's favorite but the more i go on the more i realize it's hard for me to objectively say i have ONE (1) fave: P4's strongest point about it was honestly its characters and the chemistry they have with each other (❁´◡`❁)
