Wedding Planner in the UK:
When it comes to planning a wedding, having a local expert who understands the unique characteristics and charm of the UK can be invaluable. It will have knowledge of stunning venues, local vendors, and the legal requirements for tying the knot in this beautiful country. Whether you're envisioning a traditional English garden wedding, a stylish city affair, or something entirely unique, a UK-based wedding planner can bring your vision to life.
UK Wedding Planners:
To find the perfect uk wedding planners, start by researching professionals who specialize in your desired style and location. Whether you're aiming for a vintage, rustic wedding in the English countryside or a contemporary, urban celebration in London, make sure to choose a UK wedding planner with experience in your chosen setting.
Event Planner in UK:
In addition to weddings, the UK offers a wealth of opportunities for hosting memorable events. Whether it's a corporate conference, a milestone birthday party, or an intimate anniversary celebration, an event planner in the UK can help you create a flawless and unforgettable experience. They have the skills and local connections to ensure that every detail is taken care of, from the venue to catering, entertainment, and décor.
Best Event Companies:
To identify the best event companies in the UK, consider factors such as their reputation, portfolio, and client reviews. Look for event planners who are known for their creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to bring innovative ideas to the table. Also, ensure that they have a network of trusted vendors and venues to make your event a success.
How to Choose the Right Wedding or Event Planner:
Experience: Look for planners or companies with a track record of successfully executing events in the UK. Experienced professionals are better equipped to handle unexpected challenges and provide creative solutions.
References and Reviews: Read reviews and request references from past clients. Hearing about others' experiences can provide valuable insights into a planner's reliability and quality of service.
Personal Connection: Chemistry is essential. You'll be working closely with your planner, so choose someone you can communicate with effectively and who understands your vision.
Portfolio: Examine their portfolio to ensure their style aligns with your vision. A diverse and impressive portfolio is a good indicator of their creative abilities.
Budget Considerations: Discuss your budget upfront to ensure that your chosen planner can work within your financial constraints. They should be transparent about their fees and any potential additional costs.
Conclusion:
Whether you're planning a wedding or a special event in the UK, entrusting the task to a professional planner can help you save time, reduce stress, and ensure that your day goes off without a hitch. Wedding Plan Trash Watch!
You ready to snuffle-kiss the burn?
Tumblr media
Before I start...
Find out about Mame and the Mameverse here.
Find my other trash watches of her and others here.
We all know what we are getting in for, 7 episodes of BLduggery. To crane your neck as you drive by the car wreck or not... that is the question. Me? I'm wallowing in the guts.
Episode 1 - In which I craft an ode to Dumpster Fires Everywhere
I am sorry, but they opened with Battle Hymn of the Republic for PrapaiSky’s wedding? I busted out laughing.
Tumblr media
Also, you KNOW I can’t just let that go.
Ready?
LET’S SING! (Bet you’d never thought I’d type those words).
Battle Hymn of BL Tumblr
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the burning of the trash This is barely even BL it’s just Mame writing slash  She hath set ablaze such garbage in pursuit of all our cash But the trash watch must go on!
 (Buh buh ba buh)
Glory, glory hallelujah!  Mame hit us with a sewer.  Spoiling all our fun, Oh the shit storm has begun, But the trash watch must go on!
I have seen the dumpster-fires of a hundred BL tropes She will sacrifice her ukes ’til they’ve lost all of their hopes We will watch in righteous anger while the refuse burns and smokes But the trash watch must go on!
 (Buh buh ba buh)
Glory, glory hallelujah!  Life’s rough for a BL reviewer.  When OG BL fans run afoul of Mame stans  But the trash watch must go on!
 Buh buh buh buh!
Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here for the next 7 weeks. Yes some of my rhyming conventions are awkward af but I never claimed to be a filker. Now where was I?
Oh YES,
STILL AT THE VERY BEGINNING.
Where have I seen this seme before? Oh! Top Secret Together.
Micky D sponsorship? Nice. I’m impressed.
Too many sound effects, abort! Is that the sound tech from Lovely Writer I sniff? Someone please fire his ass. Yes, it must be him. Only a straight dude misuses buttons like that.
I feel Nuea’s pain I too hate the gym.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This better not be in one of those situations where after instalove our seme arranges for the wedding planner boy he likes to plan his own wedding so that he can marry him at the end.
Lots of pronouns going astray in that sentence, but you get my meaning.
Drag baby around. Locker room. Kabeldon
Tumblr media
Honestly? And this is not usually a criticism I lob at Mame ( I know is there anything I have lobbed at her?) but the leads seem a bit stiff and uninspired.
It is just me?
Episode 2 - What’s this? Oh is that boredom?
What are these boys in these office BLs doing behind their desks on those computers? They never actually seem to be working at all. They’re like brochure stock art ads for boys on computers.
I had to skip most of the humiliating stuff with the food in the car and whatever was going on because… aargh.
They keep ordering food in this episode of nobody’s eating it. And it looks really good and I’m hungry and this is very upsetting to me.
Tumblr media
Lom is just totally jerking Nuea around. Just tell him what your relationship is with the bride.
There’s no need to be so fucking coy about it.
Tumblr media
I love the flaming yelling fit from Nuea tho.
It was also a good kiss.
But that’s what we expect from a Mame.
Mame giveth and mame taketh away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Somewhat dull episode frankly. Even with the kiss.
Sigh. What have I become?
Episode 3 - WHAT IS THIS? There is nothing about this episode that pleased me even a tiny bit. Except Noel’s hair. But that wasn’t part of the script.
Buckle up, I got A LOT to say.
It’s a pleasure to welcome you back to your normal and expected ABL meets Mame interface where... ABL LOSES THEIR TINY MIND.
Right on schedule it feels like.
Ready?
Oh who am I kidding, you sadists life for this shizz. And you can’t tell me you don’t.
Lom is so frustrating.
Tumblr media
I wanna punch him too. Sing it, sister!
Random water sports. (And not of the kind one might expect from Mame. Stop it. You know she would go there. She’d think it was edgy.)
Tumblr media
Peeps!
We need a name for when a BL reviews itself.
It keeps happening.
Tumblr media
Should you tell him everything?
Yes.
1000 times yes.
I’m basically screaming it at the screen.
TELL HIM!!!!
You tricked him into a date without telling him a single thing about what’s actually going on. Are you insane?
What the hell.
You keep kissing him but he is planning your wedding. How fucked up are you? You monster
Tumblr media
A Mame show calling out its own exploitive sexism is so fucking awkward.
Mame. Sweetheart. Snookums. Sugarbeans. Shaken-baccon. You don’t have enough fucking talent to go meta. Leave it to the better BLs to follow trends. Your shizz is old fashioned and that’s why people like it. Don’t try to be classy, it makes this whole shit show just look even more shabby.
Tumblr media
Poor baby.
Now he’s doubting himself completely.
What are these assholes doing to you?
Come with me.
I’m going to transport you to this other terrible BL trash watch happening right now, where there is a LOVELY adorable boy named Max and I think you would be perfect together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So it’s basically just Narnia-level closet cases we are dealing with here?
THAT’S IT?
THAT’S THE EXCUSE FOR THIS LEVEL OF MANIPULATION?
WHAT IS GOING ON?
Tumblr media
Nuea is such a cutie.
I want to punch Lom all over again.
Noel looks v pretty as a blond.
The proposal sequence was unnecessary. But at least I don’t wanna punch anyone.
Tumblr media
THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE for lying. For manipulation. For not understanding how you’re betraying another person’s faith in himself.
Especially not if you’re in the position of power: social, cultural, employer.
Why doesn’t Mame EVER understand this?
Tumblr media
You can’t have a character that is sincere and earnest in love and yet entirely lacking in all forms of integrity.
This is driving me crazy.
No one is in the show is as crazy as this show is making me.
Tumblr media
I started this episode wanting to punch Lom, and I’m ending this episode wanting to punch Lom.
That’s a mame plot for ya.
No character development at all, on any side of the screen.
And someone, mostly me, is always left with a mad desire to punch something.
Frankly, I kinda want to punch the screen.
Episode 4 - I Am Going to Start Drinking
I like consent especially when “no” is activated. But this being Mame she shoe horns it in and then the seme ignores it.
It’s so awkward. She’s actually incapable of making any non-problematic tropes sexy. It’s like there is only one lane for her shows and that lane is...
the WORST
Tumblr media
My “Punch Lom in the face 2023” campaign continues.
I don’t see how he can ever become a sympathetic character. He just trundles along lying by omission (when speaking up would make everything better). I hate him.
I’m glad we get to see Nuea suffering, now show Lom what he has done and make him lose the boy.
No? No.
Instead Lom gets rewarded with sex for being a sleazy lying gutless jerk? Well terds to both you fine gentlemen.
Tumblr media
I mean, very gay of you, Nuea sweetie.
“Because just SOOOO hot” being the #1 excuse in my personal “I slept with WHAT?” experience. (Heh, to be fair I’m often the WHAT? in that equation. I live to be someone’s bad mistake... just not Lom-level-bad.
Where was I?
Oh yeah, Gaga has the sex scene. FYI. Came outta nowhere, that sex scene did. Very disjointed... not that kind of joint. Not that kind either.
It’s not a particularly impressive sex scene, which is disappointing. Because WHY ELSE WOULD WE BE WATCHING?
I mean, if you’re going to have your characters (and by extension us) forfeit all integrity and taste in order to watch your stupid show, the least you could do is give us decent chemistry.
I’m not saying this is worse than LITA but at least LITA was hot.
It wasn’t anything else. But it was hot.
This this is
not hot.
In conclusion: if Nuea’s baby bro doesnt’t punch Lom in the face next week I will have to start drinking on Weds...
oh wait!
BMF ends this Friday! I can switch to drinking mid week!
YES
(I have a new rule: only one BL a week is allowed to drive me to drink in any give rotation.)
Imma preemptively point out that I am aware that bearding and lavender marriages are still quite common all over the world. I would whole heartedly support a good depiction of it. (Even one where it stays fix in the beard position.) This is NOT a good depiction.
I shall draw your attention to 2017′s rarely discussed (not really BL) We Are Gamily out of... you guessed it... Taiwan. You can argue with me about this only AFTER you have watched that.
Okay, back to the trash watch.
Episode 5 - I Neglected to Drink and that was a Mistake
Ate a lot of crap traveling home today (feel gross) + tumblr new desktop UX has me pissed + Mame & alcohol? I’m not sure I’d survive. So no alcohol.
Here we go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Poor Nuea feels so guilty.
Please save me from ever feeling that way after sex. *shudder*
Before you ask, to the best of my knowledge, I have never slept with a married person. I’ve slept with married people... married to each other mind you... but I hope that makes it clear everyone was consensual. (I recommend it, by the way. Being a unicorn is lots of fun.)
Where was i?
We were dealing with punching Lom not my misspent youth.
(looks at calendar. wait, that was last month.)
PUNCH LOM 2023!
Tumblr media
Queen!
Tumblr media
I love her.
It wasn’t a physical punch but a verbal one is almost as good. (And can be more damaging in the long run.)
Could we please still have an actual punch?
Pretty please?
Mame punches her characters all the time. And no character ever deserved a punching more than Lom.
I do wish there was a nice boy back home to scoop Nuea up.
Tumblr media
That line of boys wanting him, could we see it, not be told it?
Tumblr media
I do like the random sinshine hyung side couple.
Omg. COLD MICKY D?!
That might just be the most objectionable moment in this whole show.
And that’s a tall order.
Pun intended.
Tumblr media
(straight, HA! pun not intended but still very much THERE)
Tumblr media
Was I pleased we got multiple characters who are just outright gay? Yes.
But representation has not been one of Mame’s issues.
I mean Tharn was one of the first openly gay seme leads in a Thai BL, and she also had rep for lube and condoms in that show. That’s not the issue with TharnType. Or Mame.
Her issues tend to revolve around story structure and audience manipulation.
Tumblr media
Was I pleased that Nuea knew what was going on? Yes, I’m glad he’s not totally clueless.
I still want Lom to be punched in the face and I’m still mad at this show.
Tumblr media
Episode 6 - Too hot to drink, still a Mistake
I finally figured out my real problem with Lom. It’s not that he was closeted and manipulative without good reason (although he is). It’s not that he lied and strung Nuea along for a lot longer than was necessary (because he did). It is that he basically does everything for himself and his own ends. Even when he’s confessing his love it comes off as flat because it isn’t about Nuea and what Nuea wants or needs, it’s about Lom wants.
Tumblr media
Hanging a lampshade on it doesn’t make it right.
It was good bridge kiss. And car kiss. And sex kisses.
There is something corrupted grunge romantic asking the person you love most in the world to hide that love and climb back into the closet with you for the sake of your nasty arse family (is that a queer taboo, hum). I’m not saying lavender marriages are necessarily wrong, I’m just saying it’s an interesting plot twist in a BL.
I think we HAVE to hold this up and examine it in stark contrast to the final ep of Bad Buddy. It’s interesting how the closet retreat didn’t bother me at all in BB, and I thought it was quite a clever and elegant ending twist. Whereas here it’s just annoying. It’s not making me as angry as it probably should. But it is annoying as a narrative conceit and denouement.
Tumblr media
Can I ask a question.
It’s not a serious question, of course.
What is up with all of the shows this year having dates on lakes featuring that thing where you ride a funny little floaty-boat while being dragged behind a fast boat. I’m sure it has a name, but I could not care less. New sponsor?
The sex scene was fine. But I have to say, I wish they had leaned into the fact that Lom is a virgin and Nuea has more experience. It would’ve been a really interesting dynamic to see honestly represented on screen.
In conclusion, Nuea is a saint and next week everything comes to a head that didn’t already get head this episode.
Episode 7 - Finally I’m drinking!
I am having a tiki beverage this evening to round out this show. Coconut rum and mango popping Boba are involved. Don’t judge. I have the alcohol palate of a 7 year old.
I’m ready! Let’s shave this beard!
Tumblr media
And, well, that was a pink saturated drama of the mothers in law. Enjoyable lakorn style scenery chewing. The ladies seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Lom pretending to be sad and pitiful. Also funny.
Using his evil against his mom is acceptable. Suddenly his manipulative lying ways are working in the right direction.
Tumblr media
Honestly?
This was a fine ending, I’m not mad at it.
They managed to keep Lom in character until the end, he remained deceitful.  I would never trust him, but clearly Nuea is willing to ride that dragon.
I guess 7/10?
If you can tolerate Mame and liars (kinda the same thing) you’ll be fine with this show.
But, frankly? Lom as a character would sit better amongst the drama bananas of Only Friends.
In summation:
A lackluster Mame offering with less of her usual stellar chemistry, but all of her usual manipulation. An innocent wedding planner falls haplessly and hopelessly in love with a groom who relentlessly pursues him, even though he’s about to marry someone else.

Another Eric hater here but more so I hate how Jay and Sam found out he was lying and then decided to gaslight her further to cover for him and keep on saying "yeah he lied but I believe he's good for you!" Like they try and compare it to how Sam lied with her and Jay's meet cute but that's a totally different thing.
It's funny because this show sometimes suffers from the opposite problem I have with the BBC version. In the UK version I wish people would be share more moments of gratitude and communication (example being Mike thanking Robin for saving his effing life! And Alison having a heart to heart with Kitty in the finale). But in this one I kind of wish people sometimes were a bit less forgiving? Or at least got angrier with each other. Another example I have being when Thor possessed Sam and stayed in her against her will and ruined her Christmas and she was way too chill about it. But also they need to tell Eric to GTFO.
Totally agree about that opposite problem thing. That is why I'm always full of joy when Jay is like "Sam, the ghosts screwed up! Yell at them! Yell at them or I will!" I really wouldn't mind Jay being the bad cop if they absolutely cannot make Sam any sort of disciplinarian, but someone totally needs to do that. And yeah...Jay does call out Hetty after her possession of him, even as he thanks her for her help with the dinner for the wedding planner so I think Sam could learn a thing or two from him about that. (And I agree about BBC too. Even Alison sometimes comes across as harsh toward the ghosts in general sometimes or at least expresses her feelings when they do something disagreeable in a way that...doesn't fit the crime, you know? Possibly because it really feels like they hit the parent/child sort of dynamic much harder in BBC. The ghosts really do feel like Alison's children rather than a bunch of grownups interacting. Or maybe that's just a cultural thing. I don't kow)
As for Eric, I think that Sam's kind of absorbed Jay's fears about Bela having a "suitable" boyfriend, given her thirsty tendencies and just, at least in his mind, doesn't want to see his sister get hurt. And Eric fits the bill of the perfect, safe guy, so they immediately jump in his fan club without really taking the dynamic into account and looking at how things actually are. (And of course Sam started setting them up in the Christmas movie fashion so maybe she sees the relationship as a fairy tale fantasy she doesn't want to end, and that's not good either.)
It would be so awesome if at some point, when the two of them were at Woodstone, Trevor caught him doing something sketchy that would hurt Bela and told Sam, and that would help Jay realize that he's not so bad and really cares about his sister.

I need a recommendation for a contemporary romance novel that is not a billionaire, sport or workplace romance that is Open Door to explicit open door?
I'm sorry billionaire romances might as well be fantasy novels IMO.
Fortunately for you I ONLY read open door to extremely explicit open door so all my contemporaries are along those lines lol
The Roommate by Rosie Danan. The heroine has to get a last minute roommate after the friend she thought she was in love with bails to go on tour with his band... and she ends up living with an adult film star. They do start working on a project together late in the book (not a film) but it's not a workplace romance at all lol. So fun!
Glitterland by Alexis Hall. M/M, a down on his luck bipolar author has a one night stand with a radically different (in a class way and a personality way--this book handles UK class stuff really well) glittery sparkly guy, who then unexpectedly stays the weekend at his place and they sort of fall into a relationship together?
You, Again by Kate Goldbeck. A 21st century take on When Harry Met Sally, the hero and heroine meet when they realize they're both hooking up with the same girl. After some rough starts, they eventually end up as friends... but obviously, there's a ton of UST and he's falling in love with her and she CANNOT deal with that reality.
Forget Me Not by Julie Soto. Borderline workplace because the heroine is a wedding planner and the hero is a florist she's using for a wedding, but functionally not. This is a second chance romance; they were together in the past, but she's a commitmentphobe (as a commitmentphobe, I love a commitmentphobe hereoine) and screwed it up. So now they're thrown back together for a new wedding, and it gets Complicated. Also, there's an amazing scene were they're in the bath together and she's ranting out work stress and he basically is like "let me help" and reaches around to... help.
The Other Side of Disappearing by Kate Clayborn. This one is a bit softer on the sex, but it's definitely not closed door. The heroine's mom ran off with a con artist years ago, and the con artist was the subject of a famous podcast before he disappeared and kind of left it on a cliffhanger. The podcaster and her sort of protegee (the hero, a very Soft ex football player) show up to pick up where it left off, and the heroine and her sister end up on a roadtrip to find the mom together.
Friends Don't Fall in Love by Erin Hahn. The heroine was an up and coming country singer before she got cancelled for singing a protest song about gun control. Her fiance, another country singer, then dumped her, and she impetuously hooked up with his collaborator/friend. Years later, he's her landlord, and they start collaborating again to revive her career.
I would also recommend Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series (rock stars, but not billionaires); I like all of them, but I loooove Lead (the frontman for the band, a recovering addict, lives with his assistant/sober living companion; she realizes she's in love with him, and as a no-nonsense bitch is like "I'm quitting", to which he says, "NONONONONO"; has a scene where they fuck on the kitchen table to get it out of their systems and he like, immediately stagger-runs away) and Deep (the bass player has a one night stand with the drummer's new baby sister-in-law, and oops, she's PREGNANT).
Kristen Callihan's VIP series (again, rock stars but not billionaires) is also very good, though I don't like the first book. I do recommend Managed (about the band manager becoming platonic nap partners with the new photographer/social media manger; he's uptight and she's Not, he sniffs her dirty panties, she undoes him, it's great); Fall (one of the band's front men is recovering mentally from a suicide attempt, finds out he has an STI, is super ashamed and spiraling mentally... then becomes friends with the girl who's like, house sitting for another bandmate, I think? And she's a Professional Friend?); and Exposed (the band's publicist, their childhood female friend, enters into a FWB situation with the one member of the band she can't stand).
Kennedy Ryan's Skyland series is good, too. Before I Let Go is about a divorced couple that realizes they still have feelings for each other; This Could Be Us is about a rich housewife whose husband is thrown in jail for financial crimes, unexpectedly finding love with the forensic computer guy who turned him in.
Helen Hoang's books are really good too, but I especially love The Kiss Quotient, which is about a woman on the spectrum who hires a male sex worker in an effort to become better at dating (it's actually so sweet... also hot).
Of course, I enjoy Talia Hibbert--Act Your Age, Eve Brown is probably my favorite, but that's a bit of a workplace book, as she works for him at a B&B. Otherwise, try Get a Life, Chloe Brown, which is about a woman with a chronic illness deciding to take control of her life, and her neighbor helping her out and in the process falling in love with her.
Fwiw, I think all romances are kinda fantasy!

"I mean the answer to that is because is actually was last minute, but my question is WHY was it last minute? What were h&m doing all this while leading up to the wedding in UK?" I suspect what they were doing was not listening to any of the planners and also firing some planners thinking they could do it themselves. I think they were also probably working on setting up their post-BRF life, negotiating with Oprah, Netflix, etc.
They sent out the celebrity invites pretty early, so they were definitely working on that.

What did you think of Wedding Plan? Worth a watch?
I... didn't make a recommendation post for it. And that wasn't an oversight.
It feels like 4 episodes worth of actual material with a LOT of air injected in. I think there's a reason people only know it exists through Pai/Sky and Payu/Rain GIFsets...
Just kind of ... not enough plot to work with. It feels like a connector piece between a bunch of Mame series that just kind of... ended up out of place. Like, it would have played out well in the background of 3-4 other series.
I'll put a general plot rundown below the cut.
Namnuea is a fantastic wedding planner who loves to nom. Man loves all kinds of food, especially The Sponsor, McDonalds.
At the wedding of Prapai and Sky, Lom (a friend of Pai's from when they both studied in the UK) sees Namnuea sneaking some nibbles and immediately finds himself falling for the man.
He asks Pai who his wedding planner is and gets the address of the company Namnuea works for (Gotta love bros who get their hos the sneaky way).
Lom makes an appointment right away with Namnuea, and arrives with his doting and blushing bride Yiwa. Yiwa and Lom are one another's first loves, and have been together since they were young children.
What style wedding would they like? IDK. Color? IDK. Guest list? IDK. Venue? IDK.
Yiwa and Lom give Namnuea a 3 month deadline, but absolutely no information to go off of to actually plan the goddamn wedding, just that cost is no concern. Lom says it's all up to Yiwa. Yiwa says it's all up to Lom.
Both are head over heels in love and ready to marry, and yet neither seems to give a shit about the wedding.
Namnuea visits Lom at work, demanding answers to the most basic wedding planning questions, and it soon develops that Lom will only give Namnuea glimpses of his and Yiwa's tastes if Namnuea follows him around.
Lom is quick to spot Namnuea's insecurities as he spends time with the young man, and is always ready to show encouragement and a growing affection. Namnuea is desperate to maintain a professional dynamic with Lom, but unwillingly finds himself falling for the man, which sends Namnuea into a spiraling depression. He is a professional, not a homewrecker, and he is disgusted with his own feelings.
Yiwa is the voice of reason in Lom's ear, telling him to reveal the truth to Namnuea and end the charade-- a charade Lom is participating in to protect Yiwa and her true love, Marine.
When they were teenagers, Lom and Yiwa both realized there was no possibility of them developing romantic feelings for one another. Lom is exclusively attracted to men, and Yiwa exclusively attracted to women. Forced to hide who they are in the face of aggressively homophobic families, Lom offered to marry Yiwa to satisfy their mothers, buying an apartment in the same building as Marine.
The plan is for the two to marry, then Yiwa can live freely with Marine, their mothers never suspecting that they separate once they're inside the building. One day, if Lom finds a man he loves, he and Yiwa can stage a tragic divorce and each be with their partner.
Marine has accepted the arrangement, even if it hurts her heart a bit. She repeatedly encourages Lom and Yiwa to reveal the truth to Namnuea, knowing the pain Namnuea must feel in his heart thinking they are a real couple after going through the exact same thing 2 years ago.
But before Lom can tell Namnuea the truth, one drunken night everything comes to a head and the pair have sex. Disgusted with himself and sick of the heartache he has suffered for loving the "already taken" Lom, Namnuea flees to his mother's home, then a sister's farm, taking an indefinite leave from work (his boss and friends suspect what is going on and are very supportive and protective of him).
Lom panics when he wakes up and finds Namnuea gone. He cannot get a hold of him, cannot find him anywhere. Even Lom's coworkers curse him out for his despicable behavior.
Until Yiwa comes in with Marine and explains the entire thing.
Lom gets the address of a farm Namnuea's sister runs, where Namnuea has gone to stay to hide. He goes to the farm and immediately tells Namnuea the truth. But Namnuea doesn't know how to feel, the pain is still too raw.
It takes a lot of work- to get in the good graces of Namnuea and his family again, Lom works his ass off and endures the snipes of Namnuea's cousin (who is another Mame main character, I think).
Eventually Namnuea forgives Lom, and returns to Bangkok to help pull off the farce of a wedding.
But Yiwa's mother has grown suspicious of Lom and Marine after seeing them meeting at a cafe (to discuss how to approach Namnuea while he's still oblivious). She's convinced Lom is having an affair with the homewrecker Marine, and attacks the woman.
It's the final straw for Yiwa. When the day of the wedding arrives- without warning Namnuea and his team (who are now all in on it) in advance- Yiwa simply vanishes.
She plays the heartless bride who flees with her maid of honor to elope in the UK. Lom puts on a thoroughly heartbroken act, dusting himself with alcohol and wearing only wrinkled clothes, pretending to cry whenever people come to speak to him.
Lom and Yiwa are at their theatrics again, planning the runaway bride scenario and keeping it from Namnuea and his people to sell the act (these two are obviously theater kids forced to get real jobs, they love a good scheme).
The act manages to soften the heart of his mother, who is increasingly upset and worried about her son's long lasting depression. Since he swore to the heavens that Yiwa was the only woman he was capable of being with, she slowly accepts Namnuea as the hero who brings her son out of his darkness.
Lom and Yiwa remain best friends, but now living on separate continents. Yiwa marries Marine in London, and Lom is free to marry Namnuea in Thailand.
And I really hope at some point someone sat Pai down and told him the entire story.
Because the man would pee himself laughing.
