Wodehouse Adaptations
Hello everyone! So, a while back, I made a Google Doc documenting Jeeves adaptations, and a different Google Doc documenting non-Jeeves Wodehouse adaptations. However, I decided it would be better to just combine them - and also add a bunch more that neither past document had! So now I present to you... the Ultimate Wodehouse Adaptation Doc!
It's got all the adaptations I could find on the Internet of Jeeves, Blandings, Psmith, Ukridge, Mr. Mulliner, Golf Stories, Uncle Fred, and Drones Club stories, neatly arranged by medium and date. If you're only looking for adaptations for a certain series, there's a handy-dandy emoji categorization system, so all you have to do is pop one of them into CTRL+F and it'll take you to any adaptations marked with that!
Naturally, if you know of any errors in the doc, or see anything that's missing, please let me know! Thank you very much, and enjoy!

Story Time
Hermione is the youngest Head Librarian in the town's history, but she's struggling to get more people interested in coming in. That is until one man with a deck of cards, and no idea how a library works, changes her outlook.
It was almost as if he was making sure he had her attention.
And he did.
The next time the deck was in his right hand, he patted it with his left to level the cards. With his right index finger, he split the deck into two stacks, one on either side of the finger. His thumb and his pinkie pushed the two stacks together until they started to merge at one corner. He pulled his index finger out from between them and used the rest of his hand to apply pressure to the cards. The two piles made the same sound from earlier as they joined together as one.
He was shuffling one handed.
He passed the deck to his left hand and repeated the same pattern. Never dropping a card.
Hermione wondered what else those hands could do.

Finished the new Wednesday series and I figured out what the Tim Burton version of the Addams Family is missing for me and it’s the mania. There’s no manic edge to any of the jokes. There’s hardly any snap (pun intended) in the dialogue. Gomez is sedated, the guy who played the younger version of him was serving more Gomez energy in five minutes onscreen. There’s a moment where CJZ calls him “mon cheri” and there is ZERO reaction, not even an aborted attempt at a “Tish! That’s FRENCH!” gag, which I was definitely waiting for. Pugsley isn’t hyperactive at all. He says he misses being waterboarded but he doesn’t beg Wednesday to torture him or really do much at all the few minutes the kid is onscreen. His one gag is basically just a fat-kids-will-eat-anything joke where he chows on some potpourri. Nothing in the therapy scene to suggest how VERY in over her head Kinbott is. Nobody else is ever really set on edge or feeling jumpy because they have no idea what any Addams will do next.

Man I love the idea of Benoit Blanc being Fred's dad, crossovers like this are totally my shit, but the slightest possibility that Benoit "fashion icon detective" Blanc is not one of the thousands of uncles of Daphne "one of the original fashion icon detectives" Blake doesn't get into my head.
It's just like the perfect concept for a crossover between these universes and I'm here for it.

Hear me out. At first i was thinking wouldnt a tintin and scooby doo crossover be cool. then I thought about how tintin and daphne would get along well because they are both innovative gingers who get kidnapped alot plus its the femme/twink soildarity. Then i started thinking about how daphne cannonically has both french and scottish ancestry with the scottish side especially being as danger prone as she is. Also the time line makes sense in a way because adventures of tintin takes place in the early 20th century and whats new scooby doo and early scooby doo stuff in the late 20th century

When Candace says she and her brothers were "Great friends" to Amanda in Quantum Boogaloo, all things considered she wasn't wrong. As far as 15 year old sisters and 10 year old brothers go they are very close.
She may often get upset with them, but they rarely do at her, and Candace's ire with them doesn't always process in their minds. They don't actually argue often, and when they do its usually pretty brief and quickly addressed.
Candace CHOOSES to spend time with them, doing things like playing skiddley whiffers and watching movies with them. (Which is a lot all things considered for two sets of kids at different stages in their life with different interests). Not to mention the big ideas, like circumnavigating the globe, and going to space, and singing as pop stars. And they do things like trick out a car for her and build her a phone and build her a rocket ship for her just because.
Not to mention that single summer isn't really reflective of their WHOLE childhood. It's definitely meant a joke, adult Candace looking back with rose colored glasses, but in all fairness, we the audience only have a snapshot of at most a year of their childhood. And even within that snapshot we see that, yeah, for all that the show focuses on Candace's beef with her little brothers, they get along really well.
That said, it is definitely the pot calling the kettle black because it's not as though Amanda gets along any worse with her brothers than her mom and uncles. We see less of Amanda, but all things considered it does seem that her beef with her brothers is relatively one sided. It seems that she WANTS to spend time with her brothers. They just don't want to do anything.
