Other than making regular arts most of the time I actually spend doing sprites of different characters. This is mostly for a future rework of my old AU AND some for a new AU too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right now here is specifically Underguard (yes I have this AU too) Mad Mew Mew sprite made entirely from scratch. Only reference was the original Undertale one so all similarities with other creators is completely coincidental.
I don't usually share my sprite work here but I decided to do so because I am practically not doing anything else.

The Owl House Finale Rewrite
I love The Owl House. The story, the animation, the music, the characters. It is no surprise the show stands out as a favorite, including mine. But even being a fan cannot make me ignore the flaws of something, no matter how much I love it. I feel while the story was wrapped up well, the series from a writing standpoint was messy. A lot of my gripes with the last two specials involved not using time wisely, the Collector's character being retconned, and ignoring themes of the show. Here is how I would have rewritten the last two specials. I am by no means a professional writer. I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes and I want to give the benefit of the doubt to Dana and her team.
For The Future: The special opens immediately as Luz and her family/friends enter the demon realm. Everyone is on edge after the confrontation with Belos, and everyone with magic is drained, after having used their powers signifcantly in a realm with no ambient magic. Luz offers to bring everyone to the Owl House to recuperate. When they arrive, a wave of starry energy engulfs the house and surrounding area, bringing the puppetfied citizens of the isles with it. Willow and Luz attempt to save Willow's dad from the puppet Owl Beast, but then the Collector arrives with King, having come to play the Owl House game. King is relieved to see Luz, but horrified to see she is now in harm's way. The Collector is shocked too. King kept the Collector from trying to find Luz and her friends by claiming they would want to ruin their game and that the Hexsquad should be left alone. King manages to convince the Collector not to hurt Luz, and he takes her back to the Archives. He leaves the others by encasing the Owl House in a dome at the request of King.
The rest of the Hexsquad and Camila are then saved by a group of resistance members, consisting of Raine, Darius, Eber, the CATTS, and some Hexside kids. Raine explains after the Collector stopped the Day of Unity, Eda attempted to stop the Collector with harpy mode but turned into the Owl Beast. While the Collector dealt with beast Eda, King dropped Raine his collar, who figured out the symbol etched on it neutralized the Collector's magic. Raine has spent the past few months saving the puppetfied citizens, taking them from under the Collector's nose while they play. The Hexsquad's arrival proved the perfect distraction for Raine to save Lilith and Hooty, who the Collector was keeping an eye on due to being important characters for the game, and use the symbol to undo their puppetification.
Raine takes the group back to Hexside, which is hidden using the symbol. The group formulates a plan. Using Lilith's memory of Philip's teleportation glyph combo and her knowledge of the architecture of the Archives, the Hexsquad, CATTS, and Camila, teleport into the Archives, to find and teleport all the puppetfied citizens back to Hexside where they can be safe.
They manage to teleport all the puppetfied citizens to safety, but Odalia turns up. Having been reduced to the Collector's servant, she decides to capture the group in an effort to win the Collector's favor. The group is divided, with Willow, Gus, and Hunter in one group (Willow has her breakdown arc here with Hunter, as she blames herself for getting Luz caught and not being able to do anything). Amity and Camila manage to defeat Odalia and regroup with the kids and the CATTS.
Meanwhile, after having been captured, Luz was brought to the Archives. When they arrived, the Collector dropped Luz to the floor, the impact causing Luz to go unconscious until she is revived by the Collector (While unconscious, she appears in the In-Between Realm, where a mysterious figure tries to get her attention). King is mad at the Collector for hurting Luz, though they try to brush this off, claiming they fixed Luz, and thus it is okay. The Collector asks King to bring Luz to where Eda is being kept underguard by the puppetfied Titan Trappers. Eda is in fact, back in control of herself, and she and King embrace Luz. Eda explains she has seen that the Collector, despite his apathy towards people, is still just a kid, and she has been complying evidence to try and get him to see the error of his ways. However, the Collector arrives, having placed a bug on Luz. The Collector is furious that King lied to them about Eda being stuck in beast form and Luz leaving the demon realm on purpose. The Collector attempts to puppetify the girls but King intercepts the shot, though he remains unchanged.
The Collector now gets nervous, and after being prodded by King reveals Titans are immune to Collector magic, and that he didn't let King know that because he was afraid King wouldn't want to play with him otherwise unless he believe the Collector had control over him. The upset Collector reveals he is the last of his species, who after years of distrust and suspicion of the Titans, led to a war where the two species wiped each other to near extinction. The only surviving adult Titan, King's dad, angrily imprisoned the Collector using the tablets as a catalyst. The tablets were made by the Collector as a gift for the Titans. That way, he could always communicate with the baby Titans, who weren't afraid and distrustful of him like the adult Titans.
Luz, Eda, and King take the Collector on a tour of the isles, trying to get him to understand the importance of empathy and ethics, though the efforts end up striking a nerve with Luz, as the Collector points out Philip thought he was justified by doing what he did, and that Luz also thinks she is justified because she is a 'good guy' too, which worries Luz because she cannot handle the idea of being like Belos. (This references a cut storyboard in which the Collector questions why Luz would say other people but Belos are complex)
The trio are able to make the Collector open to the idea of being more empathetic, and he brings them back to the Archives, where they reunite with the Hexsquad and Camila. Camila and Luz have a heart to heart, which allows Stringbean to hatch. But then they notice the ground below the Archives is shaking, and the sky turns green, with the eye sockets of the Titan glowing blue. The gang realizes Belos is doing something with the Titan, and the special ends on a cliffhanger.
I will try and post my ideas for the rewrite of "Watching and Dreaming later"

au (super long post!! Sorry!!!)
not sure if anyones done something like this (most definitely), but uh,
flower themed undertale au. Floratale (obvious, i know, I just wanted it to be simple, might change it later). it’s an aesthetic au, like Dancetale, in which the monster society is based around gardening and flowers.
more under cut if you wanna know—
story is essentially this:
after the death of the dreemurr children, and Queen Toriels disappearance, Asgore orders, instead of war against humanity, an underground-wide therapeutic garden for every citizen. It’s meant as a way of coping, (and because Asgore was running out of ideas for hope) for monsters to remain calm, and focused on at least something aside from their situation. This’ll change quite a bit on the main story of undertale, so it’s technically canon divergence? I guess??
in the wider multiverse, it’s a mainly neutral universe, and is regarded as a “mental recharge station” for all to come to. None of the residents acknowledge or interact with the strange sanses that come now and then, but it’s not like anyone gets hurt (after the first few resets at least…). With the mental balance of negative and positive, neither dream nor nightmare really care for Floratale (who is maintaining that balance? It’s—)
that’s all I got atm, but here’s some concept art
Tumblr media
Charas bio:
Not a people-person
died same way as canon
5 feet, 5 inches (height)
enjoys cooking, drawing, gardening
favorite flowers: POPPIES, BUTTERCUPS
Frisk’s bio:
Selectively mute
5 feet, 2 inches
enjoys playfights, being active
enjoys tinkering, machines
favorite flowers: SUNFLOWERS
Tumblr media
Note: first time actually drawing the fluffy goat monsters, but I think they turned out pretty good.
Bios are:
Toriel: only slightly better at gardening than canon
Asgore: Less King, more Father-Figure
Tumblr media
Undyne:
Doesn’t personally know Asgore
Part of the Underguard (underground police force)
(on a side note, she is ridiculously hard to draw???)
Tumblr media
Alphys:
Aware of the multiverse
Was an intern for GASTER
(sorry for the saturation in the coloring…)
I MAY be doing a comic for this, just to expand on the lore a bit (it wouldn’t be a priority tho)

The Bone Season Comparison, Chapter 1
Not a lot changes: We get a clunky rundown of the world, Paige tries to find a weird mind in the dreamscape, can't, wakes to find she's been dreamscaping for longer than usual, is told that was orders, has to take the train to visit her dad instead of being driven by a friend, the train is inspected by the Underguard (I ALWAYS read that as undergrads at first) and Paige escapes by projecting her spirit and kicking theirs out of their bodies as another psychic is killed by them.
Most of the differences are in streamlining the writing. Since my feelings about Shannon's novels usually boil down to being overwritten unnecessarily complicated for the sake of being complicated messes which comes out in the wash as a boring homogeneous mass, this is most welcome.
Also welcome! Danica and Paige talk to each other like humans now. Paige has a little more bite (instead of Danica informing her that Nick would come drive her but he was being held up by Jax and Paige being like 'no no I don't want to cause trouble! I'll just do the extremely dangerous thing!' Paige is the one who says that Nick was supposed to drive her and upon learning that he's held up with Jax is a little. Snarkier isn't the right word. She's a little peeved that now she has to take the dangerous option or be really really late. Small things!)
We are also no longer subjected to Paige telling us very seriously that she, a five foot nine natural blonde with grey eyes, has no distinguishing features except dark lips she could have gotten from drinking coffee (?). We still get the comment about dark lips, coffee drinking, and a dramatic line break to inform us she's never drunk coffee in her life. Weird flex but okay.
One difference that I'm not sure will change much but seems like it should (who can say, it's been a bit since I read the og book) is that in 2.0 Paige specifically says that Jax has been trying to get her to project her spirit away from her body. She's been unable to do so and is happy for that state of affairs to continue. This makes her train survival perhaps more remarkable, as in 2.0 it's textually the first time she does it and it's mostly on accident. She also kills the second Underguard in 2.0, which she cannot bring herself to do in the og. That feels like it should have consequences either way also. We'll see!
And the guy who gets attacked with her on the train is no longer a medium but a seer.

I don't think leaving the star underguarded when they can nope out and leave the fight behind at will, and then head immediately to the star is a good idea.

I think we need-

Yes! It makes a lot of sense that he thought it was a space shuttle. In the end it was "two for the price of one"
Once approved, the elite trine won't let their combiner baby out of sight, let alone the other eggs.
(they all end up pretty big seekers when older)
Heck yeah! The babies are in the medbay's "NICU", which is just am emergency incubator set up in the corner. They're always underguard 24/7 until their siblings hatch and it's safe for them to start interacting with the world

(More questions bc I have lots >:3) Do all the different humans still fall in the same order? and are they still living in the underground if so since war wasn’t declared against them? (Most importantly) Are there royal gardeners instead of a royal guard?
EEEEEEEEE okay okay here we go
YES, the humans will all fall in the same order! Anything outside of the underground will remain the same! Most of the humans that have fallen are uh….deceased, though. Monsters have been underground for at least a thousand years, so it’s a given that they were outlived.
Damn right there are royal gardeners XD but they don’t necessarily replace the royal guard in this AT. Instead, there is the Underguard, which is much more police than army.

With All Due Respect…
Darius Deamonne X GN!Reader
Spoilers: The Owl House Season 2 Finale
Tumblr media
Insolent idiots. Bumbling fools. Those were only two of the thoughts that plagued Darius as he reached the secret hideaway.
How could they be so stupid? Darius hardly even understood why he was so upset, its not like anyone went out of their way to throw things off. But getting the Owl Lady was supposed to be under wraps, a secret affair that never reached a scouts ear. Yet, noooo instead the Owl Lady and the human have to make a big deal out of everything.
Only things did not get better as he opens the door, because he is instantly under the hardened gaze of Y/N Y/L/N. Groaning he glances back at the group who is making their way up their stairs, eyeing Raine specifically.
“Ya know, the point of being against Belos is to not invite his lovely toys to secret meetings.” Darius glances over to see you raising an eyebrow, having forgotten about the book you were reading. “No offense.” You don’t take any, and instead shrug your shoulders and resume your book.
“What do you mean?” Raine questions before reaching the doorframe themselves and seeing you at the round table. It is terrifying. “Nevermind, I see.”
It is a butterfly effect, all of them stopping at the door as they see you. You don’t have to imagine their surprise, their stuttering tongues and inability to move prove all you need to know.
“Oh Titan…” You sigh deeply, looking up at Lilith, someone who used to be one of your only friends.
“Well since we’re all here—” There’s a rush of wind with a flick of your wrist, and the doors slam shut so everyone is shrouded away. “We have a lot to talk about.”
You kick back on your chair and smile up at them, only they do not find your gesture as endearing as you mean it to be. Instead, they are stiff as boards. "Three coven heads...A couple traitors...The human..." You click your tongue, "Honestly I'd hoped the revolution would be a moving force, but instead—" Your smile slips away as your expression falls, not into any particular emotion, just neutral. "My life and every life in the Boiling Isles falls in the hands of this—" You scrunch your nose as you stand, moving your hands. "This mismatched group."
You pause in front of Darius, "How pathetic." Who is probably the only one who is not trying to think of way to escape. You sigh loudly, rolling your eyes. "I'm not going to tattleeeeee..." You smile wickedly, "I want to help."
Darius watches you from across the room as you catch up with Lilith, you smile more than he would expect. You do not seem as dark and forbidding when you aren't surrounded by coven guards, you were always surrounded by coven guards though. That never made sense to him, because while you were high ranked and that often meant more powerful—you were never unaccompanied. It was as if— Darius stands up straight, no longer leaning on the shelves and walks over to you. His eyes flashing a neon green, to which you smirk and wave off Lilith, who looks between the pair before walking away.
"Belos is scared of you. Why?" You tut, quirking your brow as you gesture to the now open seat in front of you.
"Now why would you say that?" Darius swallows, now that he is close, he is reminded as to why you are so terrifying. It has a lot to do with your aura, it just radiates something more ancient than what you would expect of a normal witch from Bonesborough.
"Because..." He takes the seat, eyeing you suspiciously—you just seem so at ease right now, despite being the least trustworthy one in the room. You don't seem phased at all. "Because you were always heavily guarded, but you can take care of yourself. So being constantly underguard, was Belos' way of keeping track of you." He watches you roll the thought, and yeah it does make a lot of sense to you.
"I mean, that's a theory." You purse your lips in a thin line and nod. "Actually makes a lot of sense."
"Wait? Did you not know why????"
"I could care less if I was under guard or not—as you can see..." You gesture to the room that is coven guard free. "I can lose those cretins with my eyes closed." The way you speak sometimes, it just doesn't make sense to Darius, who had spent the better half of the hour in silence from that point on. Just trying to figure you out. Figure out your motives. And at some point, as he was just about to give up completely, he spoke again.
"So why are you here?"
"Because I'm a witch. Like you, and everyone else here. I'm not buying the whole living like royalty lies, and as an immortal being, I'd like to keep my magic. It makes this whole, living forever thing, kind of fun." You didn’t expect it, but he laughs, leaning back into his chair and smiling at you. Oddly entertained by your answer, and you laugh with him—which draws attention just briefly.
“Such an honest answer is not something I would expect from you.” You smile, shrugging.
“Well, with all due respect, Darius—you don’t know me much at all.”
