Bei den Sätzen ging es um Rassismus, Fremdenfeindlichkeit und Sexismus. Für mich fällt das alles unter die gleiche Kategorie: Dummes Arschloch. Ich habe nie meine politischen Haltung versteckt um "Brandsafe" und "Family-friendly" zu sein. Gerade jetzt ist die Zeit um aufzustehen und für etwas einzustehen! Eventuell ist ein Alien-Raumschiff an uns vorbeigeflogen aber wir schaffen es nicht mal Menschen von unserem eigenen Planeten willkommen zu heißen! Ich glaube fest daran, dass jede Kultur eine Bereicherung ist (denkt nur mal an das ganze Essen) und wir alle voneinander lernen können. Als Mischlingskind kann ich das doppelt bestätigen. Schaut über euren Tellerrand, fahrt in ferne Länder, trefft fremde Menschen, lernt neue Sprachen und rennt in eine Welt die soviel größer ist, als diese ängstlichen Kleingarten Nazis sich jemals vorstellen können. I finally just watched the gilette commercial everyone is talking about. And this is for everyone who hates it.

You hate it because you think that it tells you that all men are bad and you don't identify as someone who could ever do anything shitty in terms of treating other people, especially women. Ok. But for real now. Are you sure? I mean like. Did you really REALLY think about it?did you ever watch yourself from the women's perspective, remember that a lot of men do the exact same things you do, and still love your behaviour? If you don't know what behaviour I mean: I'm gonna tell you

These are my (!) And only my stories. I am a woman. I have like huge tits and I didn't ask anyone for them. I have a normal body with a normal amount of fat and muscles. And these are men:

1. *me in a bikini in summer walking around at the pool* men literally staring at me like wtf your girlfriend lies right next to you. Men trying everything to inconspicuously touch my breasts somehow to feel how they feel. Classmates (yeah btw I was a teenie) trying to open my bikini top. Men telling me "woohoo they're huuuuge oh you are so blessed"....me...stopping to go to public pools. Because I feel insecure. Because I get stared at by everyone. For my body. Being my body.

2. Summer again. Freaking. Like freaking hot. Me being 13! Years old. Wearing a crop top, hotpants and a light shirt. Walking around. Old men sitting around, whistling after me. Yes. No. I don't feel comfortable.

3. Me telling men that I'm gonna get a breast reduction because i get physical pain from them and can't wear any clothes that fit me. Men responding with "wooow wooow don't do this like what the fuck they are so beautiful how could you ever change anything every woman wants to have" (no you want them to want it lol)

4. Me wearing a top. Like a normal top. For real, nothing special this time. Men:"woooow can't wear something like this and suspect us to not freaking stare at you"

5. Me in the club. Sweating like hell. Being afraid to take off my pullover. Being afraid that anyone touches me inappropriately again. Some guy who seemed really cute asked me if he could give me his phone number. I sent him a message. Three mesaages later:"hey uhm I know it's a shitty question...but...like...could you send me a picture of yourself cause like I only remember that you have like a thin body but huge tits" "wtf." "Yeah well you don't see that very often"

These are just the stories that burned themselves in my head because I got really scared or sad or sexualized by men who thought that their behaviour was absolutely and totally fine because it's only really wrong if you rape or hit girls. But no. There's a lot more to this. And there's a lot more stories. Stories you forget because you experience 3 of them every day.

Gilette stood out for us. Gilette told men that their behaviour is wrong even though they sometimes don't realize it. Gilette told men who do realize this to help other men seeing what they see. Gilette doesn't try to tell you that you are all horrible people. Because you aren't. I swear you are great people. But sometimes even great just don't see the problems because they never thought about them.

Everyone who hates the gilette commercial just because it scratched their honor as strong men who are always right and perfect. Everyone who doesn't take the second to really think about it. Everyone who still does not understand that they, even though they didn't realize it, could be one of the reasons women are afraid. Every freaking one of you. Please. #unfollowme
