He directed me to the bed but did not immediately push me onto it.

Instead, he stopped and ripped off the bedspread.

“These things get really gross!” He said tossing it into the corner.

I wondered how this guy was the same one who I banged on the skuzzy couch last summer. But at the same time, I was happy he did that because hotel bedspreads really are icky.

I started pretending that I was in some kind of sexy, film noir, getting it on with a dangerous leading man.

He was sweet and generous in all the right ways, but honestly, it was doing nothing for me. I was going to have to fake it, which was fine since I was already lost in my own imagination.

So, faked it I did, and the louder I faked it, the harder he went for it, somehow turned on by the fact that surely others could hear us. I faked it a good three of four times, until he finally finished the deed, laying back, breathlessly impressed at his obvious good job.

We cuddled while the lights outside bounced off our skin, my buzz fading as I prayed that I wouldn’t start to feel nauseous.

“Babe, lets go take a shower.” He suddenly said out of the blue.

I was completely game because that shower was big enough for five or six people and the bidet wasn’t the only thing I wanted to try out.

We got in and he initiated round two. So I faked it again until our skin was pruny and my hair was completely soaked.

But what is a torrid love scene in Vegas without tangled, wet hair and makeup running down your cheeks?
