She was super sweet, couldn't stop thanking the fans for the support since the beginning and only had good words for working on the movie

She couldn't answer what her favorite scene to shoot was cause it's a deleted scene 😃

Amy was supposed to appear during the election scene but Aneesh had covid and couldn't attend (+mentioned that everyone got covid at some point the summer they were shooting)

Taylor and Aneesh used to live in the same complex during shooting so they sometimes spent time on the balcony watching London's view (so Alex and Amy of them☹❤)

In Aneesh opinion Taylor gives the best hugs, especially because of their heights difference that makes her go 🫂 *big hug*

The Q&A was a promise she made back during shooting that she said she'd make if she reached 10k followers but then the strike happened. She actually reached that number right after wrapping up the movie so the live was supposed to be with Nick and Tzp as well but they went to other places and it couldn't be made

Retales Retold - Day Seventeen

-A small girl was thrilled to discover that she was tall enough to reach over the counter and hand me her money. She gleefully shouted, “I’m high enough! I’m high enough!” and I have never been so proud of someone half my height.

-An elderly man bought deodorant called Swagger. I am glad that he knows how important swag is in the modern era and scents himself accordingly.

-A small boy hid underneath the counter, shouting out phrases like “I love Target!” and “Target is the best!” repeatedly, for five straight minutes, with no signs of a motive or a desire to stop. I am not unconvinced that we hired a ten year-old as a propaganda machine.

-As I left the bathroom, I noticed a stereotypical business man doing unstereotypical things. By this, of course, I mean he was scrubbing his left foot with a paper towel, as one does between board meetings at a retail establishment. 

-An older woman accosted a younger woman I was ringing up, demanding to know where she got each article of her clothing from. Most of it was Walmart. The elder one inspected each piece of clothing individually. All the while, the small child with the older woman was spinning around, exposing his nipples to all within range. 

-A newborn child gave me the single most distrustful look in history. I do not know whether she could sense that I was out of stickers or if I had wronged this baby in a past life, but the infant was having none of me.

Nah, on second thought, I'm actually ok with them nixing Sokka's sexism arc, for one incredibly simple reason—it's not something you can turn into a season-long character development in a show that removed the bite-sized episodic structure, and as a result it would have just taken up space. It's beloved and remembered, and for a good reason, but it also gets resolved immediately. And so there's also no real storytelling need for shoving Sokka into the Kyoshi uniform because without a larger arc it conveys no information and no development.

Contrast with what the remake actually did give Sokka in terms of an overarching story and how everything about his encounter with Suki and beyond feeds into it: he's uncertain and insecure about possibly failing to rise up to his role as a warrior and gain his father's approval, and he reacts accordingly. He's not trying to one-up Suki but impress her to confirm to himself he is meeting the expectations placed on him. And what I find so moving about the whole thing is that the characters do appreciate him—for blatantly unstereotypical aspects of his personality and contribution, be it him inspiring Suki, helping the mechanist, or giving Yue comfort and Katara encouragement.

NATLA Sokka's story isn't about him overcoming his misogyny. It's about him accepting and exploring his untraditional masculinity.

Why Astarion x Karlach, part 4

It'll be the final piece part 1 / part 2 / part 3

I've started that post series with Astarion's pairing question and suppose I should end with Karlach's. So I spent a some time researching others Karlach's ships. For the sake of science ofc, but after several smut fics I wondered: “What am I doing with my life” (if u concern, I am not a fan of indecent content and more about fluffy angst stuff, duh). Anyway, I saw that everyone (literally everyone) makes Karlach extremely dominant. It's kinda sad, because I always head canon that she softer than looks like. Well, I don't argue with her high sex drive, it’s more than obvious (for example her bedtime fantasy), but still she is not obsessively horny. How I noticed, in reality she doesn't enjoy too smutty experience and bold sexual expression (her reactions to the offer to spend time with twins and when tav orgasms on the street). She definitely has her own principles (remember, she didn't have sex with anyone in Avernus) and may even be chaste in some way. I clearly imagine that Karlach can be gentle in a bed and with joy allow her lover be on top.

But of all the Larian OCs, I think only Astarion will be able to dominate Karlach (others are either too soft or just don’t suit her in my eyes). By the way, I absolutely agree with @sailorgundam308 and @hellspawn223 (and other guys on that boat) in the vision about hellspawn's sexual dynamics. In other words, I just don’t see Karlach having such many-wounded, bitter-sweet and icy-hot romance with other companions. Equally important, Astarion needs a partner like Karlach more than anyone else in the camp, I think she'll also be pleased to know about her high importance for her lil wicked darling.

In conclusion, I can't help but remind how unstereotypical this unexpected pairing is. They break heteronormative expectations in both directions (not capable said about this correctly, so I just link to this). For me it's an interesting type of couple and since my teenage I have been looking for same stereotype busters. Certainly I prefer to see how sweet and tender Astarion and Karlach can be together, but I'm not against the other side of this insane match.

can't hold a proper conversation without getting frustrated by our opposite povs. from what I've seen, INTJs, although realistic, can be the worst of pessimists and will never miss an opportunity to rain on a sunny outlook. drives me nuts. huff.

aside from that, there is a certain kind of understanding that we have. with my case, it could be that having a similar past in depression, anxiety and an eating disorder brought me and my INTJ together in a very unique way.

frankly, INTJs will see (most) ESFPs as way too much, and will avoid them if they can. (I'm a 9 so this doesn't technically apply to me :P)

very often, ESFPs will find the INTJ's social oblivion hard to manage, but if it's the right mood for a philosophical discussion, they might surprise you.

surprise, surprise, we can talk about other things besides shopping and drinking. crazy, I know.

I think ESFPs overall respect INTJs and who they are as people, seeing that they're brainy, nerdy, quirky, clever, awkward, even kind and sweet and so much more; its a rewarding experience, getting to know an INTJ

I hope that the INTJs out there have a healthy, mature ESFP to experience the world with. being Ni dominant seems like you can easily get lost in the sauce of horrible scenarios and inevitable panic and I believe an Se dom is the perfect person to widen the outlook and make the physical work seem less scary I guess.

I truly think the types can bring the best out of their opposites, if both parties are willing to try.

In regards to your post about Sassapis being the voice of reason in fanon, I would argue that, having lived (died?) the second longest of the ghosts, he is more knowledgeable than wise and reasonable.

And (contrary to the "wise native" archetype) he also seems to adjust to modern life extremely well, especially compared to the others (i.e. Thor's "landships", Alberta's "silent or talkies", Hetty's everything). He does however seem more naive and childlike when it comes to the way the real world works and relationships and all that.

So my counterpoint is: Sass is an Ipad baby; Technologically and culturally up to date but completely clueless about everything else.

Writing Tips - On Asexuals and Sex

//So as you may know, I am a sucker for writing tips and researching things to improve my own writing. From time to time, if I find something that I think is particularly helpful, I like to share.

There are a lot of things I write that I do not have first-hand experience with, and it is on these topics that I will spend most of my time. Today however, I have found this neat video about aces and sex, that I (self-identifying as asexual for a good half of my life by now, with the first half spent being a kid or questioning my sexual identity) find to be particularly accurate to my own experience and perspective.

If you are curious, whether as an author of ace muses, or just for the hell of it, give it a listen. It is particularly helpful for those wishing to portray asexuality in a realistic and unstereotypical manner.
