Crisp Rat isn't gonna do a cartoony Italian voice, but he's still gonna say "it'sa me" and "let'sa go" and "mama mia" in his normal ass voice because Catchphrase™. Hell, I would prefer a gruff Brooklyn voice over cartoon Italian any day, Lou Albano, Bob Hoskins, Hotel Mario, something like that, but we all know in our heart of hearts that the one and only voice he is capable of doing is his own. Maybe it'll be a little bit dopey like Andy Parxonrek or the legoman, but let's not hold our breath.

The fact that they haven't even revealed the title yet tells us everything we need to know about this movie.

There's a lot of moments that were sweet and sad. But Zuko's apology to Iroh, and Toph and Sokka's talk about Katara's motherly nature were amongst the sweetest. And Aang going avatar mode when loosing Appa and being comforted by Katara has to be the saddest I can remember.. 🥺🥺🥺

The ending overall just felt like it came too soon, I wish the show was longer..

The boo mushroom isn't intended to be in my AU.. but the boomerang and cloud flower could be included :00 I imagine they'd be/look a lot different though..

The boomerang flower might not be a full on powerup.. I might make it this big flower that once it grows its oddly shaped petals fall off and harden like wood. Leaving behind these perfect flat boomerangs. I can imagine Mario and Luigi just learning how to throw the boomerangs instead of absorbing a powerup. This would also explain how boomerang bros got their boomerangs. They throw the same dried up petals that the bros throw-

The cloud flower might just be changed into some king of... wispy thing and the bros can collect. Instead of a flower. Maybe a literal cloud? I'm not sure.. but I can see it existing :00

🔥 Dabi 🔥

- Well, he is worried about you.

- You are unlucky enough to have someone like him following you around.

- There is not much he can do, he is not a doctor, but he can cuddle you on the couch

- Of course he is using his hands on your abdomen, warming it up a little to bring you a bit more comfort in the pain.

- Do you need a painkiller? He will go full on ‘marvel disguise’ and go to the pharmacy to get you whatever you requested.

- Your anxiety is acting up? You get wrapped in a blanket, together with some snacks and cuddles. “Yeah, I know it hurts but don't worry. I am here and I am going to help as much as I can.”

- He will actually go as far as finding you an actual doctor so you can have professional help.

- Overall, he will keep his eye on you until you get better. He won't let you suffer and will try whatever possible to stop the pain at least for a bit.

🎮 Shigaraki 🎮

- Does he look like a doctor? Nope. The only medical experience he ever had was in Surgeon Simulator… and it never ended well.

- Kurogiri is immediately sent to get you some meds. Just say what you want, and you shall receive.

- You need distraction from pain, so… he wraps the two of you in blankets with you comfortably sitting between his legs, Switches in hands.

- He prefers to kick your ass in Mario Kart but since it's all about you and distracting you from pain he lets you pick Untitled Goose Game so you can get completely distracted by villainous goos, running around and causing troubles.

- When you two get bored with playing, he is up to watching some anime with you. Of course, you pick, he’ll watch whatever you choose. Even if he hates it.

- When Kurogiri is back, he is immediately sent away to contact that old Kyudai for some medical help when it comes to you.

- The two of you just snuggle and eat snacks.

- To your own surprise, as simple as those methods are, they are indeed useful and really successful in distracting you from both pain and anxiety.

- When you eventually fall asleep in his arms, he uses this time googling everything he can about your ailments and how he can help you.

💥 Bakugo 💥

- Bakugo is worried. Of course, he is! He is not a heartless monster! 

- He gives you all the cuddles you request from him, warming up your lower belly as much as he can.

- Comfort food is something you need so right after taking your meds, you're sat in the kitchen, so Katsuki can keep an eye on you while cooking. 

- It doesn't matter what your comfort food is. You like it? He makes it. Simple as that.

- After the meal, there is more cuddling for you, with an even bigger amount of kisses than usual.

- You can pick something to watch. It doesn't matter if it's a movie or a cartoon. He is watching it without complaining.

- When you drift into sleep, Bakugo picks you up and moves you to bed. He loves you, but he is not going to mess up his back by sleeping on the couch 

⚡ Kaminari ⚡

- PANIC!

- There is no other way to describe it. PANIC. Are you dying?! Are you going to leave him all alone!? He is not ready to lose you! He is too young… YOU ARE TOO YOUNG.

- Denki calms down after googling everything and talking to you about what's happening.

- Calm Kaminari is much more effective. 

- First, he makes sure you take your meds, then he brings you all snacks. 

- Denki starts watching TV with you, but there's a twist. He keeps talking to you, and since there’s nothing fascinating on the TV, you listen to him.

- He tells you a lot of his school stories, fun ones like the School Festival, and little scary ones like the attack on USJ. 

- Of course Kaminari being himself also tells you jokes! All sorts of jokes, together with funny faces and weird voices.

- Seeing you smile, without an ounce of anxiety, is the most beautiful thing in the whole wide world.

$58m+ weekend estimate for KUNG FU PANDA 4...

That beats the openings of the other two sequels (using KUNG FU PANDA 2's $47m 3-day opening, not its whole Memorial Day weekend take), sits nicely below the $60m opening weekend gross of the first movie. All the way back in 2008, without 3D or DBOX or today's ludicrous ticket prices. Still, impressive!

Really held its own nicely against DUNE: PART TWO's second weekend, too. Packed showtimes yesterday at work, so packed that the other animated family film option - also a Universal movie, MIGRATION - was packed down to the front row as well.

Given how well it was doing, the estimates - some project - might be a little on the low side. If this indeed tops $60m, and maybe even KUNG FU PANDA's opening weekend gross... This will be DreamWorks' first film to top that amount on opening weekend since MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE'S MOST WANTED. All the way back in 2012.

As such, it is still the company's biggest domestic opening since HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD in 2019. COVID-19 really cut into some of the Comcast-era DreamWorks movies at the box office, and while theaters have been back for a while, a lot of DreamWorks' output now plays the same long game other animated movies have been playing as of late: Open small, have ludicrous legs. KUNG FU PANDA 4, being part of an iconic series that's over 15 years old now, obviously was poised to open a lot higher than - say - THE BAD GUYS. If DreamWorks fired up another sequel to an old favorite, like MADAGASCAR, I'm sure it'd open similarly.

(Remember when MADAGASCAR 4 was penciled in for a 2018 release over 10 years ago? Pepperidge Farm remembers...)

Also, I won't be surprised if - within a few months or so - KUNG FU PANDA 5 gets etched onto the schedule for a 2027 release.

Elsewhere in Universal and Jack Black animated movie land, it was announced today - MAR10 Day - that the new SUPER MARIO BROS. animated movie is in the works. Directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic return to the helm, to no one's surprise.

An untitled affair, and described kind of as a new movie and not so much a direct sequel? Well, whatever it is, it's debuting April 3, 2026. Much like the first movie, an early April 2023 release that went on to become one of the highest-grossing animated movies of all-time... So we have a date for that, but not whatever studio Illumination is serving up in 2025. Maybe they'll take that year off? Who knows. We have DESPICABLE ME 4 this coming summer, and then there's a gap in the schedule til this new Mario movie.

Fitting, both being based on Dav Pilkey books. I have a feeling we'll get an Illumination in there somewhere, either a summer picture (SECRET LIFE OF PETS 3? Some original movie?) or a near-Christmas SING threequel. That is, if Paramount moves THE SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS from that slot. I don't know at the moment. We also have that third LEGO MOVIE still, that's got its directors, release could be anytime at this point.

Chris Pratt’s ‘The Terminal List’ Gets Second Season & Prequel Series Starting Taylor Kitsch At Prime Video

The Terminal List is continuing — and becoming a franchise for Amazon Studios. I have learned that Prime Video has finalized a Season 2 renewal for the hit series starring and executive produced by Chris Pratt, and also has picked up an untitled prequel/Ben Edwards origin series headlined and executive produced by Taylor Kitsch, from The Terminal List creator/executive producer David DiGilio. I hear other Jack Carr characters who have or have not appeared yet on The Terminal List, an adaptation of his 2018 novel, will be featured in the prequel, including Pratt’s Navy SEAL James Reece and Raife Hastings, a former SEAL pal of Reece’s whose potential arrival was set up in Season 1 of the mothership series. A rep for Amazon Studios declined comment. Talks about a second season of The Terminal List — which has been a big hit for Prime Video, reaching No. 2 on Nielsen’s weekly Top 10 streaming ratings chart — have been going on for months. I hear that during those conversations, Pratt suggested expanding the series with a prequel, which he is executive producing through his Indivisible Productions alongside Kitsch.

According to sources, also executive producing the offshoot are DiGilio, who serves as showrunner; fellow The Terminal List executive producers Carr and Antoine Fuqua; and producers include Max Adams, a writer who is a former Army Ranger; and Pratt’s longtime coach Jared Shaw, a former Navy SEAL. The prequel is described an elevated espionage thriller that follows Ben’s (Kitsch) journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the true darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. The Terminal List, a co-production from Amazon Studios and Civic Center Media in association with MRC Television, tells the story of James Reece (Pratt), a Navy SEAL who seeks to avenge the murder of his family. Following the outsized ratings success of the eight-episode first season, which launched July 1, Pratt hinted that more episodes are coming during a September appearance on Carr’s podcast Danger Close. “To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about,” he said. “We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.” Added Carr, “There may be some cool stuff on the horizon being discussed.” Besides Pratt and Kitsch, the main cast of the conspiracy thriller’s first season also included Constance Wu, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz and Jeanne Tripplehorn. Waco alum Kitsch will next be seen in the Netflix limited series American Primeval and Painkiller, both directed by Pete Berg. Pratt next will be seen reprising his role as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and heard as Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. His recent credits include The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special for Disney+, Thor: Love and Thunder, Jurassic World: Dominion and The Tomorrow War, which he executive produced.

personal update 8.5.2023 🧸💕🌟

good things that happened this week:

took an hour long nap with sailor sleeping on my tummy

another early dinner date with my wife lilith :)

fun easy grocery shopping trip with lili! first proper one in a minute since we've been recovering from covid the past month, so its nice feeling all stocked up

had a very snuggly morning with my wife and then went to a pastry shop together. i got the most delicious strawberry cream cheese brioche bun, and she let me have a bite of her lemon lavender tea cake too!

my first dentist visit in like 8 years went great! i was nervous but they were super nice, and i have no cavities or anything else of concern :)

spotted the 30th anniversary beanie babies in the wild, and took home peanut ii and patti ii :)

watched pee-wee hermans big adventure with quint in honor of paul reubens passing, and he showed me the memory episode of how to with john wilson

watched the mario movie with cel!

my friend darren stopped by at the coffee place i work at and he really liked the drink i recommended for him based on what he was feeling that morning!

had a lovely board game night with darren and river! we ended up just playing catan, and we did have a catastrophic sailor walking on the board mishap, but it was a ton of fun to just chill and chat and learn a fun new game
