Wow... I'm tired. 🥴 This week has been very taxing and it has only just started, so I'm moving this next update to September 18th, 2024. I can at least give you a little preview of the next update this time though, so here you go!

Do you have any estimates of the next butterfly update? This last chapter released was very good for clarifying some of Naruto's feelings and thoughts and the fact that he still doesn't think it's wrong to use Hina for his plan kills me inside :(

A few of you asked about the next chapters for Butterfly and Prey, so I answered here for you guys💕

Naruto's got some soul searching to do for sure, he's stuck in his selfish tunnel vision at the moment😭hopefully next chapter he'll start to get his shit together, or maybe take a glance in the mirror.

After the afternoon from hell, I’m like 90% sure chapter 3 of it led me to you won’t be posted today. It’s so close but I just feel like if I finish it up now I won’t give it the attention it needs and deserves and you all deserve better than that too.

Liam and I will be flying to Colorado earlyyyyy in the morning so I will be unable to do anything until we get settled in our cabin tomorrow afternoon/evening but trust me I intend on using the mountain air and no responsibilities (except keeping Liam alive) to pretty much finish this fic.

Writing is my fun and relaxation. It’s the first thing I’ve done just for me since probably before Liam was born, so having the next 10 days to not have to worry about anything except enjoying our time on the mountain, trying not to pass out when meeting Grace, and writing is gonna be the most serotonin I’ve had in a hot minute.

I also just wanna say these headcanon things are amazing warmups for writing the bigger stuff and I’ll keep doing them as I have time. Probably will have plenty of time in the airport and on the plane tomorrow so send them my way if you want ❤️

Pattern is Poetry Pullover by Sari Nordlund. a very fun pattern. also the texture on this thing is a m a z i ng it does that thing when flat where the light bounces off each part of the stitch pattern where it looks like that rhombus cube pattern and its a thin enough sweater for the weather right now and ahhhhh

i have two more sweaters on queue for the first half of the year and then i'll be free but until then i feel like a dapper lil guy

Page 8 Update Delay

Hey everybody, just dropping in to say that the next update has to be delayed, I'm sorry about that! Some rather harrowing things have occurred at my place of residence over the weekend and I need some more time to process that and get back on track with comic work. Just to be clear: I am mentally and physically safe, I was not directly involved in the incident and I'm not in danger, I just need more time to deal with everything in general. And like I said with the previous update, this next scene has a lot more planning and background work involved, so I still want to give that the attention it deserves. I'm liking how it's all coming together though, so I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all. :) The next update is now scheduled for August 24th, 2024. To Peri and Jordan, it might he better at looking into making Dev a Fairy. I mean, he's a neglected kid so desperate for fatherly love that he TEAMED UP with Anti Faries, and nearly mamaged to take over Fairy World completely just for a chance that his father would love him.

There's no telling that a Anti Fairy might try going after him again, and use him again, and have the events repeat. Least as a Fairy Dev could be monitored more. He's arguably a unique case like Timmy is; if not one that can warrant more danger if not careful. (Plus I don't think the memory spell worked on him considering he always wears sunglasses)

Despite your pleas, your ask has gone unanswered.

We can't be spoiling the future to our dear itty bitties! That'd be just so rude!!! No, no we can't have that! Not when the future is already set in stone!! Not when it's unavoidable! Not when the consequences must come to pass and pass they shall!!

Soon, Dev will attempt to take over Fairyworld. He will have his memories wiped. The human world will forget about Fairies. And someone will have to bear responsibility for it.
