the sides work with a kind of cartoon logic (kinda like who framed Roger rabbit) which is what their shape shifting and such is, they can survive pretty much everything, dont bend to reality type thing

i also dig playing around with the idea that they just arent human, they dont need to eat, sleep, even breathe or blink if they dont wanna. They just play more human around thomas so they dont freak him out (everyone but remus at least, dude doesnt give a fuck lol) they all have their priorities regarding that kinda stuff. like logan doesnt eat or sleep almost at all (there r exceptions tho obvi (crofters))  while patton rly likes to cook and bake so why not eat the stuff you make? meanwhile remus eats literally anything he can find

they can also float if they wanna, same thing where they just dont around thomas. this came about me just imagining remus consistently floating around in the mindscape instead of walking for whatever reason? so yeah they can do that

theres a core mindscape and a ‘dark’ mindscape, that sorta works like the upside down from stranger things (as in the dark mindscape is like literally upside down and mirrors everything, like this)

everyones also got their own unique doors to their rooms. logans is very sleek and modern, pattons in more childlike and almost vintage, romans resemble castle doors while remus’ is more like a dungeons, virgils is typically angsty teenager with tons of posters and ‘keep out’ signs, and janus has tons of locks on his

design wise the core sides have straight teeth and fluffier hair while the dark sides have sharp teeth and rougher(?) hair (since changing, virgil has vampire-esque fangs)

logan:

Well, there's a lot of options excluding the 21 posts currently in the queue (as well as the about half that are mine)

I really like the ones who comment on design inequality, where the guys tend to have a large range of designs while the girls get stuck with similar ones. Such as this one talking about the swim attire-

There was a similar one back a long time requesting a girl character to have tan lines like a farmer's tan (think Ripper's tan) which I also really like. I think the design ones are some of my fav because there's no preconceived notions that "have" to tie to their personality.

I really like horror movies and while I don't watch a lot of "killer at a summer camp" movies, this one made me bust out laughing because it'd be so funny to casually have as a part of someone's character.

I really like the characters where it's clearly someone under-represented who just wants a character like them. Like the ones requesting characters of specific ethnicities, races, cultures, sexualities, gender, disability, etc. I have to turn down a lot of them because they're too generic or similar to ones I've done before, but when you add a twist, it's something I love to be able to post. (compare 'an autistic character' to 'an autistic character who secretly HATES dinosaurs and trains and feels bad they don't fit the autistic stereotype')

I also really like this one. It was to the point and no one suggested it surprisingly. I got more requests for me and/or my boyfriend to be in the show before an anon decided they themself should be a character.

I like the really silly ones that make me nostalgic for other media. I mean that's the point of characters like Harold and Heather and Beth. Makes me think of another character and go "haha! it's funny they're here on this comedy/drama interacting with people not savy to their genre"

I really like characters who feel like meta or parody the fans (but not to the degree of Sierra- more like Priya) I like the character ideas that know the drama is coming and they are excited or dreading it and intentionally get involved/avoid it and make the viewers reap their benefits/costs in the confessional. I WOULD like to hear about how Maggie on the Voracious Squids is cheating and NO ONE but Chris, themself, and KENNETH of all people knows about it, even if it's from word of mouth. Kenneth might be lying for all we know and I want SOMEONE exposed for it.

Obviously I love so many and you can see my further excitement in some when I ramble in the tags about them. It's such a treat to run this blog and share ideas with such creative people in the fandom. While I do get some weeeeeird messages, I know I'm winning compared to some of the confession blogs that see absolute Horrors.

Bring someone to hang out with in case u want to queue at the venue early

In case it's not a festival and it's a normal concert, ask the fans that are already there or some staff members from the venue where the vip and GA are divided so u can wait in ur line before it gets messy and crowded

Don't eat too much

Get a water bottle with u to drink from it while u're waiting

Bring some game cards in case u're with somebody bc u're gonna get BORED

My advice (bc that's what i did), look for the nearest place with a bathroom and go there with an hour before the gates open, bc u won't need to go until the end of the show. I peed after 10 hours of waiting

Be patient with other people bc they are mean. It's also an understatement this word

Be open to discuss with others while u're in line, time passes by quicker and u also have fun

Bring a small backpack or a bag and if u end up going there while it's cold outside, bring a hair tie to tie ur jacket around ur waist. It saves u from throwing ur jacket somewhere on the floor and it prevents u from getting it stolen or lost

And enjoy the show, put that phone aside for a few songs even if u want to film some parts or take pics. The memories are worth so much more and i also think they appreciate that even more ♥️
