when u wake up in the morning u got waffles on ur mind 🧇 ?

Yes.

Every morn i wake from my slumber at 10:30am dull, the thought of waffles heavy on my mind. I draw back the curtains of my bedroom windows, letting the sunglow greet me, it's golden hue only reminding me more of the rich color of fresh-out-the-toaster waffles. I head to my kitchen hurriedly and open my freezer to the sight of the vibrant eggo box. Carrying the two frozen waffles i have now acquired i reach the toaster, and pop the waffles in at the highest setting (i like them really browned). Next i open the cabinet and grab maple syrup, it's beautiful appearance making my mouth water, and in the cabinet next over i grab a plate. The waffles pop up, the noise startling me slightly, i carefully pick them up, as to not brun my fingers, and place them on the plate. I then pour the thick maple flavored liquid over top the waffles. I finally, now having finished preparing my food, munch on my tasty treat i really fucking like waffles

Re storm tags: we can handle storms, but when theres 5 inches of ice covering ur trees, ur sidewalks, ur streets and literally everything else, thats when it gets complicated.

The iced trees snapped. The broken trees fell on electrical wires. The electrical wires broke. And there were so many that broke that it caused massive power outages in quebec, ontario, new bruns and i think also nova scotia

Some people didnt have electricity for weeks. It was winter and january. The roads were dangerous bcs of the ice + broken trees in the middle of the road.

This storm - the ice pellets that fell from the sky lasted 5 to 6 days. It even affected some parts of the states.

You cant just melt all the ice off all the buildings and trees and roads; you gotta wait for the weather to get warm again. And then people have to fix the broken lines, etc.

They even had to call in the army to help, which hadn't happened in nearly ever.

So this wasn't just some storm, because, yeah, we can deal with those. We can deal with extreme cold and lots of snow. But the ice does what it wants.

You can also meet them and it isn’t a huge deal. Reach into your local black hole and they’ll show up at some point to send you on your way (you really aren’t supposed to be in there, after all.) Ergo: Sinuk and Brun black hole drifting with the help of the Snake, in order to traverse huge distances in the real world… and, uh, not lose centuries in the process.
