Hi hello everyone the rabbit brainrot is sinking in but the turtle brainrot is still going strong, so instead of working on my wips an au that keeps haunting the back of mind may soon be coming to light,

It's a miyamoto usagi x rise donnie single dads/sugar daddy au

It's comic usagi with only a few backstory/relationship tweaks to better fit rottmnt world.

Donnie is aged up and Shelldon is aged down to make him around Jotaro's age but a few years older.

Rambles/Ideas about this below:

Donnie(+the rest of the gang) are all grown up adults, Leo and Raph still live in the lair, Mikey has moved out but rooms with April, there's background caseynardo(Cassandra not Junior) and Leo's considering moving out too, or to expanding the lair/taking another part of the sewers as home to live with Casey, Draxum is entertaining the idea of moving in with Splinter, aroace sunset duo because im aroace and say so, and this fic/au is all about self indulgence baybeee

Oh yeah about Shelldon being younger than canon, so Jotaro is also younger than canon, daycare-1st/2nd grade age range, ill have to review child development stages for specific age but its a toddler/kid era Jotaro and kid Shelldon. Basically Shelldon started out the same as canon except his first form was a lot more robotic with less personality and when the guys reprogrammed him he gained sentience like how 2k3 Nano did, starting out with having the mind like that of a young human child before maturing, because tech gaining sentience is like being born. So Shelldon isn't teen son to another teen but actual toddler son to teen, and yes he goes haywire but its more he's programmed to no longer favor Donnie and Donnie ruins his fun playtime and doesn't realize what he's doing is wrong or too far cuz he's a toddler he doesn't know what morals are or what's socially acceptable and the only reason he gets what object permanence is is because he's advanced ai.

Anyway by the time of meeting Jotaro Shelldon is now a kid instead of toddler(3rd/4th grade I'm thinking), and Donnie is in his mid-late 20s. Usagi is older but idk by how much, not like creepy agegap, but enough between them that Usagi feels like as the elder he should be taking charge instead of relying on the younger man. And Donnie is just like, we are two parent-aged adults of sound mind and body able to make our own decisions, I have free time/money, you don't, let me take care of you.

This is what happens when you binge read leo#sagi/leoi#chi/usatello/doni#chi fics and they don't scratch that specific itch and then you remember that one post going; Cant find that fic/fanart you want? Make it yourself.

Also what brought on this au was Usagi and Jotaro feels and seeing cute fankids of Donnie(and other turts but mostly Donnie's) and remembering buddy daddies anime and reading kakairu with accidental/purposeful baby acquisition and then the realization of fanon!yui&$chi usagi being discount Miya and remembering my yearning for donsagi fics that had storybeats usually found in leo#+_sagi fics

And then that one post about "yeahyeah world weary battle harden warrior taking the never worked a day or suffered in his life prince, but what about the role reversal? With the one never knowing a gentle touch and only with a purpose to serve being served instead, loved and cradled and treated gently instead of roughly? By one with maybe not physically power, or they do but it's hidden behind pretty smiles and soft skin, but power nonetheless, to take care of them to lavish them with gifts and the like? Instead of only caring for others and never themself"

Wow I wrote a lot more than I was meaning too

But yeah this au is mostly about giving Miya nice things(except the devil on my shoulder that I will be calling Stan said I needed to put some bitter into the sweet but it's mostly backstory so I let it slide)

I've heard of being productive when you're sick but this menstrual hormones work ethic is kinda off the shits

Anyway this started as purely a Single Dads AU, with a meet-cute(or meet-ugly, depending on your perspective) where Usagi kinda, accidentally, sorta, kidnaps Shelldon while picking up Jotaro from school/daycare

But then the joke of successful businessman/genius inventor Donnie being mistaken as Usagi's sugar daddy wouldn't leave my head, and I was reading Usagi comics and he had some sad boi hours and I was like Nooo and then I was rereading the issues I had read with Mariko, Kenichi and Jotaro to get references for wips, and remembered the tragedy of Usagi's and Jotaro's relationship and went NOOOOOOO.

And decided that Usagi deserves nice things, I need to wrap him in bubble wrap and give him his son or let him HAVE A FUCKIN FAMILY STAN YOU FUCK FIRST YOU TAKE HIS KID AND THEN KEEP HAVING HIM INTERACT WITH KIDS AND HIS SON AND BE GOOD AND HAPPY BUT YEARNING AND FLEETING AND THEN YOU GAVE HIM MOMMY ISSUES ONTOP????? HEY WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH ANYTIME AN OLDER WOMAN IS KIND AND MOTHERLY TO HIM OR THEY BOND OR SOMETHING SHE HAS TO DIE AND BY HIS HAND NO LESS??? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN! DID USAGI'S MOM DIE IN CHILDBIRTH??? IS THAT WHY THERE'S NOTHING ABOUT HER AND WE ONLY SEE HIS DAD? A NEVER ENDING CYCLE OF KILLING HIS MOTHER? AND WE'RE NOT EVEN FUCKIN GOING INTO HIS LOVELIFE. STAN EXPLAIN YOURSELF

Anyway, "You're stupid, I like that in a man." Etc etc Jotaro wants a younger sibling new Donnie clone baby(because Donnie and Usagi are definitely the type for wanting/having a large family)

I'm going crazy right now researching edo period because the rabbit brainrot is strong

I'm taking notes till my fingers hurt I cant

Why am I researching fashion and color and accessory rules when neither Yojimbo or Chronicles characters follow it? Because I am an Artist(tm) and that means that I need to include details and symbolism very few if any people would get to satisfy my detail oriented brain

Also the part of me that's a history nerd

I'm almost done with Mikey's ref for the Usatello AU, working on Raph's right now.

Here's Mikey's design for this AU, I say as if I have plans for him. Maybe I do who knows cuz I certainly don't. I have the very vaguest idea of an outline and only drafted the 1st chapter I'm flying by the seat of my pants here in fic writing.

The main difference between these rottmnt designs and my next gen(Leo//ich1) ones is that the next gen are older, have different markings and have hair(except Leo because of Bad Hair Day), and Leo is the one with the most physical scars

SD AU are in their twenties, no hair, and while I'm still figuring out how to draw them, have scars from the events of the movie.

Her vigilante fit is based off of that one concept art for the movie cameo of hers!

Her hairstyle is supposed to be reminiscent of Karai's with a lil Jones's touch mixed in

Soooo anyway in this AU Leo got his whole shell fucked up from the Kraang, plastron and carapace, so he needs a battleshell and plastron armor. The coat is more decorative and for flair so he only wears it for special occasions and his battleshell is too big to be comfortable to wear with.

I took inspo for armor design from SU Pearl's pilot suit and Neon Genesis Evangelion

The battleshell is based on one of Donnie's usuals and doubles as extra storage. It doesn't have the jetpack or spider arms upgrades.

The rest of his design is inspired by concept art for when they awakened their ninpo and future!Leo designs

I finally figured out a way to draw scars digitally that I was satisfied with!

Raph's markings and outfit is based off the concept art for the episode where they awaken their ninpo!

In this AU Raph loses the kraangified eye, while in Next Gen AU it's only vision loss.

Also included the hc that Raph has eyelashes because alligator snapping turtle

Currently working on Leo's ref for this AU and getting references for April and Casey(Sr.)

Evil: gotcha, timeline for Usatello Single Dads AU, research yokai, amphibians and birds of Japan, rabbit breeds and size of litter to roll die on how many kids the couples will have, look up kanji for names...

Me: no, No, NOOOOOOOOOO

This image contains the Usatello kids planning but the back of the papers has TomoSagiMariKen kid plannings and Next Gen AU stuff

I used a dice roller and random name picker to choose how many kids, what bio parents(for UY Fake Marriage AU), what gender, species the kids are, then for their names

Fake Marriage AU;

TomoSagi Kid, either a cat or rabbit, leaning towards cat, son, either has fur pattern/coloring like Swiss Fox or Tan Rabbit, Swiss Fox because i made Tomoe a Somali Cat which are called Fox Cats sometimes and Tan because of Tomoe's pretty fur colors.

MariKen Kids, plural, son and daughter, hija has Kenichi head, eyes, and ears, Mariko hair, eye shape and nose. Hijo has Kenichi eye shape, nose, chin, Mariko's face, ears and eyes. Haven't decided which kid yet but one will have Himalayan or Californian fur pattern and the other piebald/broken fur pattern

Oh I should also mention that my evil genius brain had me researching Renaissance artists and artists of art movements that came after the Renaissance AND Surrealism because Frida Kahlo was considered part of that art movement and there was word that the Rise!Turtles missing sister would have had that name

Waffling between artist names, Japanese names, or flower names(Usagi likes nature and Donnie has a passion for botany; still has a theme to follow but it isn't artist name this time)

So I always had plans for turtle/rabbit hybrid because heheh fusion go brrr, particularly a daughter that's named after Inazuma's 'dead' name Tomiko

And then I saw @/quartergremlin had the galaxy brain idea of including PSDD as one of Donnie's kids and redesigning it so I rolled a die for how many kids, then put in all bio, all adoptees, psdd and bio, psdd and adoptees

P.S.D.D and adoptees won, so then I went to yokai.com to see what they got to get the ideas flowing, put birds I was thinking of making ocs with and basing Rise! Karasu-tengu off of

Ended up with a hane-no-haeta kappa kid and a Daruma Pond Frog kid, adopted son and daughter respectively

Usagi came across the kappa boy on one of his misadventures and Donnie came across the frog girl in the Hidden City

P.S.D.D uses ve/vir/vis pronouns (because it sounds a lil like virus which ve finds hilarious)

D.D.'s design is based off of Don's fantasy mech from Down With The Sickness and tmnt 2012&2003 Fugitoid

But then I got attached to the flower names, especially the poisonous ones so Middle Name Time!!!

Tomiko Amaryllis Hamato-Miyamoto (iiii don't think amaryllis were in my poisonous list but they were in my Victorian era/hanakotoba flower language list I think)

Shigeru Larkspur Hamato-Miyamoto (the kappa child, Shigeru is made up of either the kanji for Rabbit[ie Usagi] or lapis lazuli and something else i can't remember off the top of my head)

{Mountain} Laurel Koyuki Hamato-Miyamoto (Donnie named her because He's Extra, and she didn't have a name as an orphan street rat, lil iffy about her middle name, thinking of keeping the flower middle name thing but Shelldon/P.S.D.D/Jotaro dont have one and her name is ks already a flower sooooo...)

D.D. and Tomiko have already been designed and have color palettes everyone else is still in the works...

Just discovered the tag Character Death Fix

So Inazuma is no longer dead in my Usatello Single Dads AU, because she's a badass swordsman and totally survived having Jei yucking it about in her body and she's Usagi's cool and pretty friend switches between silent solidarity and teasing the hell out of him like all his other friends

Usagi deserves more friends! And this AU was made to give him things I believe he deserves!
