Hi hello everyone the rabbit brainrot is sinking in but the turtle brainrot is still going strong, so instead of working on my wips an au that keeps haunting the back of mind may soon be coming to light,

It's a miyamoto usagi x rise donnie single dads/sugar daddy au

It's comic usagi with only a few backstory/relationship tweaks to better fit rottmnt world.

Donnie is aged up and Shelldon is aged down to make him around Jotaro's age but a few years older.

Rambles/Ideas about this below:

Donnie(+the rest of the gang) are all grown up adults, Leo and Raph still live in the lair, Mikey has moved out but rooms with April, there's background caseynardo(Cassandra not Junior) and Leo's considering moving out too, or to expanding the lair/taking another part of the sewers as home to live with Casey, Draxum is entertaining the idea of moving in with Splinter, aroace sunset duo because im aroace and say so, and this fic/au is all about self indulgence baybeee

Oh yeah about Shelldon being younger than canon, so Jotaro is also younger than canon, daycare-1st/2nd grade age range, ill have to review child development stages for specific age but its a toddler/kid era Jotaro and kid Shelldon. Basically Shelldon started out the same as canon except his first form was a lot more robotic with less personality and when the guys reprogrammed him he gained sentience like how 2k3 Nano did, starting out with having the mind like that of a young human child before maturing, because tech gaining sentience is like being born. So Shelldon isn't teen son to another teen but actual toddler son to teen, and yes he goes haywire but its more he's programmed to no longer favor Donnie and Donnie ruins his fun playtime and doesn't realize what he's doing is wrong or too far cuz he's a toddler he doesn't know what morals are or what's socially acceptable and the only reason he gets what object permanence is is because he's advanced ai.

Anyway by the time of meeting Jotaro Shelldon is now a kid instead of toddler(3rd/4th grade I'm thinking), and Donnie is in his mid-late 20s. Usagi is older but idk by how much, not like creepy agegap, but enough between them that Usagi feels like as the elder he should be taking charge instead of relying on the younger man. And Donnie is just like, we are two parent-aged adults of sound mind and body able to make our own decisions, I have free time/money, you don't, let me take care of you.

This is what happens when you binge read leo#sagi/leoi#chi/usatello/doni#chi fics and they don't scratch that specific itch and then you remember that one post going; Cant find that fic/fanart you want? Make it yourself.

Also what brought on this au was Usagi and Jotaro feels and seeing cute fankids of Donnie(and other turts but mostly Donnie's) and remembering buddy daddies anime and reading kakairu with accidental/purposeful baby acquisition and then the realization of fanon!yui&$chi usagi being discount Miya and remembering my yearning for donsagi fics that had storybeats usually found in leo#+_sagi fics

And then that one post about "yeahyeah world weary battle harden warrior taking the never worked a day or suffered in his life prince, but what about the role reversal? With the one never knowing a gentle touch and only with a purpose to serve being served instead, loved and cradled and treated gently instead of roughly? By one with maybe not physically power, or they do but it's hidden behind pretty smiles and soft skin, but power nonetheless, to take care of them to lavish them with gifts and the like? Instead of only caring for others and never themself"

Wow I wrote a lot more than I was meaning too

But yeah this au is mostly about giving Miya nice things(except the devil on my shoulder that I will be calling Stan said I needed to put some bitter into the sweet but it's mostly backstory so I let it slide)

I've heard of being productive when you're sick but this menstrual hormones work ethic is kinda off the shits

Anyway this started as purely a Single Dads AU, with a meet-cute(or meet-ugly, depending on your perspective) where Usagi kinda, accidentally, sorta, kidnaps Shelldon while picking up Jotaro from school/daycare

But then the joke of successful businessman/genius inventor Donnie being mistaken as Usagi's sugar daddy wouldn't leave my head, and I was reading Usagi comics and he had some sad boi hours and I was like Nooo and then I was rereading the issues I had read with Mariko, Kenichi and Jotaro to get references for wips, and remembered the tragedy of Usagi's and Jotaro's relationship and went NOOOOOOO.

And decided that Usagi deserves nice things, I need to wrap him in bubble wrap and give him his son or let him HAVE A FUCKIN FAMILY STAN YOU FUCK FIRST YOU TAKE HIS KID AND THEN KEEP HAVING HIM INTERACT WITH KIDS AND HIS SON AND BE GOOD AND HAPPY BUT YEARNING AND FLEETING AND THEN YOU GAVE HIM MOMMY ISSUES ONTOP????? HEY WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH ANYTIME AN OLDER WOMAN IS KIND AND MOTHERLY TO HIM OR THEY BOND OR SOMETHING SHE HAS TO DIE AND BY HIS HAND NO LESS??? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN! I GOT A 2003 LEOSAGI IDEA BUT IT'S A LITTLE LESS ROMANCE AND A LITTLE MORE-

LITTLE BROTHERS IN THEIR GREMLIN MODE

I feel like Leo was NOT subtle at all with his crush, and all of his brothers could tell. And so Usagi got invited over a lot more because EVERYONE wanted him over

(Leo did not sense the impending doom in this decision until it was too late)

So you see, there is the younger sibling way of law (imo), where the younger siblings are obligated to be gremlins to their oldest sibling, ESPECIALLY around the oldest sibling's crush.

And these motherfuckers DO NOT DISAPPOINT-

There was a time where Leo and Usagi were having pleasant conversation, y'know? They were chillin', it was all fine and dandy.

And then in the motherfucking distance you hear an approaching;

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-"

CUE MIKEY AND RAPH FUCKING BODY SLAMMING LEO INTO THE GROUND AND JUST START WRESTLING THIS MOTHERFUCKER, NO RHYME OR REASON BESIDES THE FACT THAT LEO'S BEEN TALKING TO USAGI AND THEY HAD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT-

Usagi is just blinking rapidly off to the side, and Donnie just walks up beside him sippin' on some apple juice and just goes "Yeah, this is par for the course."

There was another time where Donnie and Mikey were hanging out with Usagi, showing him cartoons and shit.

And then all of a sudden Leo just bolts past the couch, running for his goddamn life with Raph hot on his trail with the most shit eating grin ever-

And when Mikey asks what's up, they turn around to witness Leo just parkour his fucking ass onto the wall-

and so now he's just climbing up as far as he can go while Raph is following him from the floor, calling after him and calling him all sorts of things while Leo's just yelling at him like "STOP!! SHUT UP!!! RAPH!!!!"

Now Mikey is losing his shit, Usagi is wondering how he got up there so easily, and Donnie?

Donnie's gettin' ideas dude. He's gettin' ideas.

So watch as this purple motherfucker grabs one of Mikey's stress balls, aims for it-

and just starts yeeting that ball at Leo.

Now Raph is losing his shit as Leo's trying to fend off this fucking ball that Donnie keeps pelting at him, and Usagi's like "Why are you throwing that at him??? What are you both doing??"

Donnie's response? "It's the younger brother in me. I gotta listen to it."

So now Mikey starts fuckin' with Leo and starts shouting "BURN THE TURTLE!!! BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!!! HIS NINJOSITY IS A SIN UPON THIS WORLD!!!"

Donnie turn to him like, "why the hell do you know about that???"

And then RAPH turns to him like, "Comparing Leo to a witch? That is an insult to the witches, Mikey, apologize."

So now they're ALL ganging up on Leo, who's yelling at them and clinging to dear life on one of the pipes on the CEILING howdidhegetthere-

And Usagi's in the back, muffling his chuckles because this is actually funny as fuck-

Poor Leo though.

Adding onto that scene, we have Raph be like, "Why are you up there anyways??? Aren't you scared of heights?"

Leonardo immediately defending himself in the wrong way by saying "I WAS A CHILD RAPH, I HAD A CHILD'S MIND IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!"

Usagi latches onto that SO quickly bro like- "You? A Ninja? You used to be afraid of heights?"

All three of the gremlins start laughing and Leo's sputtering to deflect like a motherfucker.

"Now-now here's the thing with younger brothers, Usagi, they lie all the time-"

"EXQUEESE ME???"

"NOW HOLD ON THERE, DUDE-"

"WHOMST THE FUCK IS LYING HERE?!?!?"

Raph rats out Leo so fast by recalling him being afraid of heights until like, he was five. And then Donnie IMMEDIATELY backs up his twin (yes I fw the hc of them being twins sue me-) by going "He was afraid until he was six. I counted."

Leo here though? Gotta defend his pride here bro-

"You know what, here's another thing about siblings-FUCK YOU BOTH-"

Y'ALL THEY AAAAALL STARTLED AT THAT BC LEO HERE DON'T CUSS MUCH UNTIL HE REALLY WANNA INSTILL THE FEAR OF GOD INTO YOU-

Mikey makin' that their cue to gtfo like "NOW WE GOTTA SKEDADDLE, NOW WE GOTTA GET THE DIDDLY DARN FUCK ON OUT OF HERE-"

The way they all ran for the hills the moment Leo dropped from the ceiling was GLORIOUS

Imagine the amount of shit they would spill to Usagi about Leo, not only regarding things like his love language and shit, but also about basic turtle love language.

One of those being the fact that turtles will tap/slap their mates on the face to show affection. Albeit for the turtle boys, the slaps would be pretty gentle and shit.

He did this the first time he came to visit as Leo's official boyfriend. They were all excited to see him (and excited to see if he'd go through with it, cuz c'mon, who doesn't want Leo blackmail?) and Leo's just happy to see his bby again cause Leonardo 'I LOVE YOU AND I MISS YOU AND YOU ARE GORGEOUS AND EVERYTHING I COULD EVER WANT AND NEED IN MY LIFE' Splinterson is what some may call a 'Raging Homosexual'

So they greet each other with a hug, all's well and they're happy to see each other.

And then Usagi taps him on both of his cheeks with a mischievous lil' smile.

The way his hands were flapping like crazy almost the entire day afterwards was honestly the most adorable thing Usagi had ever seen.

And it felt nice when Leo shyly tapped him back. It was very cute-

There's also the thing where like, apart from not being fond of most touch, turtles and some tortoises definitely don't mind shell scratches or neck scratches.

You can easily tell how Usagi got his ass trapped under an eeping Leo on the couch. He didn't even have the heart to try and move the bitch, they both just fell asleep there.

Mikey got his well deserved $20 out of their bet.

A/N: I'm rewatching How I Met Your Mother and I thought this was a fun concept for Donnie.

Usagi enlisted the help of Mikey and Leo to lock you and Donnie in his room until you defined your relationship. Usagi had tried to get DonTon to start the conversation, but he didn't like talking about his feelings. So he avoided the talk, defining your relationship. Usagui had enough, you 2 needed to have the talk.

"So..." Leo sighs. "You want to lock Donnie's room... How do you plan to do that? Donnie could simply have Shelldon unlock it."

"I think I can make it to where he doesn't have access to any of his tech while the door is locked, I just need cover." Usagi explained.

"Let's do it!" Mikey cheered.

So they set to work. Mikey and Leo tried to keep you and Donnie out of the lab so Usagi could fiddle with Donnie's tech and lock him out until he turned it back on.

You stayed the night, like you do most nights. In the morning you woke to head home, only to find Donnie's door locked. You hate waking him, but he was the most knowledgeable about his own tech.

"Don, the doors locked." You shake him slightly.

"Why is it locked...? I never lock it when you're here." He yawns. Donnie got up and tried the door, still locked. He grabbed his wrist tech and started messing around. "What the fuck!? I'm locked out!"

"Have the talk." You could hear Usagi on the other side. "The door stays locked until you have the talk and write the definition, slipping it under the door."

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Donnie asks.

"The talk?" You question.

"Usagi wants us to define our relationship." Donnie scoffs.

"I didn't think we need it... I thought we were on the same page..." You answer.

"And what is that?"

"Donnie's... My... Um... My boyfriend."

"You don't sound very sure. Have the talk."

You sat in silence for who knows how long, maybe hours, you weren't keeping track. But you were getting nowhere. You were no closer to freedom. He continued to pace, whispering to himself.

You sit on the bed, Donatello stands in front of you. He begins pacing, muttering to himself, you can't hear what he's saying.

"It sucks when you're not around..." You hold his hands, anxious to continue your thoughts. "Does that mean we're in a relationship? Partners?"

"Is that what that means?"

"I'm no expert, but I believe so."

"Then, yes. That's what I want."

"We're dating."

"Yes." Donatello smiles. He leans forward and kisses you softly. The first kiss of your official relationship.

There continued to be no answer. For hours. You were both hungry. You tried to busy yourselves with other things. You laid on his bed, a book left open on your chest as you stared at the ceiling.

Donnie grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down what you had agreed upon. You slipped it under the door for Usagui. There was no answer.

WARNING: Overall Fanfic 18+ MATURE, Leo x Miyamoto Usagi. Leo is over 18. This chapter isn't explicit but a lot of innuendos.

Leo stared at the unicorn just placed onto his three fingered hand by the intimidating dragon of a Yakuza boss, Bruce.

"Same time next week, Baby." Placing a kiss on his cheek, his rough skin scratches against the turtle's moist green skin. The cheery on top of the first awkward sugar baby date Leo has had. Leo nodded back hiding the disappointment that was clawing his insides.

Standing outside of the gates, the turtle stares at the little thing again, it was a cute pink unicorn with a rainbow mane. The tears that landed on it on it barely summoned more than confused look on the pony's face. Leo barely held back a scream sniffled "Unicorns are not a valid form of payment. I owe Donnie so much money for this outfit." Commenting on the new Channel boots, black bootie shorts and the flowing silk shirt he wore.

Sniffing again, he smelt blood and money. Waving a fat wad of cash in his face was the fluffy paw of none other than Bruce's new bodyguard. Leo remembered how close he was standing to the table during the dinner with Bruce. Once, letting a bit of a shine escape the sheath of the sword when the host couldn't find the reservation.

"Miyamoto Usagi," he said, "I see that he didn't give you what you wanted." He was a tall handsome rabbit, with a blue tailored suit, probably part of the uniform to be a bodyguard, his sword strapped to his side, and his ears bound together in a topknot bound with a matching blue cloth.

"Sorry I'm a little horse," Leo chuckled, presenting the unicorn "Hamato Leonardo." He introduced himself as he reached for the money, only for Usagi to pull it away from him.

"First let's go out to dinner." He purred the way a rabbit could.

At the Japanese style restaurant, "Now how did I manage to land such a handsome client . That little unicorn thing eating at the tatami" Leo thought to himself, "So this is what life's gonna be like since Donnie cut me off."

"I'm cutting you off!" Donnie yelled at him from the entrance of Leo's abandoned subway cart."

"What do you mean cutting me off, big bro" Leo said shakily, hoping to appease the angered soft-shell. Donatello, the purple masked turtle, glared at him and said, " I'm cutting you off because you go way over budget, and I'm giving the money to a more responsible person, "Little bro" since I'm the big bro now I can do what has to be done "

"Who is more responsible than me?" Gasped Leonardo. Placing his hand on his chest while walking closer to the other turtle.

"LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE!" exclaimed Donnie, "And Casey needs the money to be a normal teenager. That's when Leo knew that he can't fight it, it's been over a year since the Krang attacked and Casey deserved to be a teenager after a lifetime of fighting.

"Ok," He sighed "But first, Donnie, can I borrow some money?"

"For what?!"

"Clothes for a job interview"

Now his mind was back at dinner in his interview clothes, the clothes the Yakuza boss eyed him on the first date. The clothes he wore as the rabbit failed to quench his thirst with the sake.

Leo leaned forward, tracing with his eyes the ways Usagi's suit displayed his muscles, his torso and the other things a Yokai can't hide while sitting cross legged. "Is that a wakizashi you're hiding or you're just happy to see me?" Leo winked down at him before sitting back down.

" Where was this energy when you where with Bruce?"

"In the money you paid up front."

"No, it was something else. Now is that your tail or are you also happy to see me?" Usagi chuckled, letting his buck teeth peek through his smile.

"Actually it is my tail." Leo beamed with pride. Letting it wiggle out of his shorts.

Usagi smiled, taking another sip of sake before almost choking on it when the turtle managed to slither onto his lap.

"Something tells me you're new to this, Daddy?" Leo smirked, letting his tail wiggle into a more comfortable position. This wasn't for long when a pair of fluffy white hands lifted him off from his seated position. "I guess it's you're new to this too, Sugar." Plopping Leo down next to him, minding the little unicorn that followed Leo along. Usagi then hands him a glass of tea.

"Ow, I think you dented my tail." Leo said, rubbing his backside.

"I'm not touching it, kappa, I didn't pay that much."

"It's not about the payment, it's about the experience. Bunny bun. I could tell that you are gonna to be a regular." Leo winked. "So, why did you pay me?"

"Your smile and i found you funny when my client did not"

"Are you sure about that," The turtle glances up at the rabbit.

"I'm sure. During your date with my client, Bruce, you faked a lot of smiles except for one," Usagi leaned in closer to Leo, "It was when you caught a glimpse of my sword."

Leo's red stripes turned brighter, " Haven't seen the whole thing unsheathed, you know."

"I'll show you after dinner. But I have to say that you haven't faked anything during our date "

They exit the establishment with a to go bag for the couple and the little unicorn that followed.

Do you feel insulted when people ship things that go against your ships? (Like Leo x whoever else…honestly I can’t think of another Leo ship that isn’t problematic atm)

depends ig. tho i think it’s less insulted and more annoyed

with leonardo i can only ever see him with lotus blossom so other leonardo ships annoy me to a rlly bad degree. leo/sagi especially due to its popularity. and also bc most leo/sagi fans don’t seem to care about usagi’s franchise at all

like bro,, miyamoto usagi is an adult in everything except the tmnt 2003 series and has multiple great love interests anyway. and yuichi gives me kinda aroace vibes?

87 leo/sagi makes me physically nauseous for multiple reasons. like literally sick to my stomach.

i mean if u ship it whatever i have the tag blocked anyway but yeah i just don’t like it.

and lotus blossom has a history of being overlooked by the tmnt franchise so it just makes me extra salty when the fandom ignores her too, or reduces her to being a version of karai, which is possibly even more annoying cause i hate leo/rai too

so yeah when it comes to leonardo and lotus blossom u will never see me ship them with anybody except each other.

only sorta exception is that i hc that leonardo crushed on casey in 2012 season 2 but i don’t ship it i don’t see that ever happening. the show just gave me that vibe only in season 2. i think after that leo moved on

but then there are characters who i can ship with multiple characters, like any of the other turtles. so ships that aren’t my main ship don’t bother me as much

i have a history of shipping raphael with mona, joi, and mezcaal. michelangelo with kala and trib. and donatello with april (2012 only) and jhanna. and also some other sillier ones too (zakatello …)

i mean now that i’m thinking about it, i’m probably more defensive of a ship the more underrated it is, especially if it’s backed by canon.

like 2012 ramona is adorable and i like that it’s canon, but it’s not underrated at all so i feel no need to defend it much. then with 87 ramona, it’s not rlly canon but it’s not underrated either, so i can enjoy it both romantically and platonically without defending it.

but with leolotus, ppl forget it all the time even tho it’s more canon than most tmnt couples, and i have to make my own ship content anyway :p
