TNR: What Could Have Been

I decided to continue from my previous THW post and come up with a new version of The Nine Realms. This spin off show would take place a thousand years (give or take) after the events of the AU version of THW. I’ve changed the characters names but feel free to picture them as they appear in the show.

Title: Flight Club

Premise: the characters live in Canada, and their parents work for a nonprofit called DRACO - Dragon Research And Conservation Organisation. The members of this org believe dragons should be treated as wild animals - they should be studied and protected, but not ridden or trained by humans. The five teens want to ride dragons however so they start a secret ‘Flight Club’ for it.

Protagonists

Leader: Kory Kullersen

Kory is short for Hickory, which is a source of amusement for everyone except him.

He knows he’s descended from Hiccup (he took a DNA test one time) and decides that he too is going to befriend and learn to ride a Night Fury.

He ends up befriending a Night Light (M) who is mostly black with a white stripe all around its body. This is why Kory names his dragon Oreo.

As a kid he was a member of the Scouts and knows how to survive in the wilderness. Which helps when he and his friends go off ‘camping’.

His uncle Robert (who may or may not be descended from Gobber) is a mechanic and taught him how to use tools/fix machines.

He sucks at using computers. He can manage his phone but that’s it.

Lancer: Julian ‘Ian’ Feng

Ian and his big sister are adopted and have two mums. One of whom is a Canadian named April and the other is a Chinese-American named Mai.

Even though he prefers being called Ian, his sister teases him by calling him July. They both joke that a third sibling will be called Augustus.

The two of them can read and write Chinese and use it to communicate in a secret sibling code (secret to everyone except Mei, of course).

Ian bonds with a Hobblegrunt (F) he names Hob-Nob. Kory gets annoyed that his idea to name a dragon after a cookie was stolen.

Ian loves aircraft and plays on flight simulators. It’s Kory’s idea to ride dragons, but it’s Ian who figures out the best way to do that.

He and Kory have a ‘vitriolic besties’ kind of relationship. They bonded over having stupid first names but also tease each other about it.

Heart: June Feng

June is the most organised of the group. She’s fond of calling her brother and friends idiots (affectionate) and reminding them to take first aid stuff, snacks, water and to go to the toilet before they start flying around.

She’s a big history/dragons buff and loves pestering Kory about his heroic ancestor. He keeps telling her it’s really not that big a deal.

Her dragon is a Windwalker (M) she decides to name Gary, as in gharial, a species of crocodilian native to Asia that the dragon resembles.

June is very passionate about protecting dragons and will swear like a sailor, in both English and Chinese, at anyone trying to hurt them.

This contrasts nicely with her well groomed, fashionable appearance. Which also contrasts with her brother, who is kind of a slob.

Between their mums, June is closer to April than to Mei, since April is a bit more supportive of her interests whereas Mei thinks she should focus on her studies.

Big Guy: Michael ‘Mick’ Angelo Gonzalez

He has a big brother called Leonardo, a little brother called Raphael and a little sister called Donna.

In case it wasn’t obvious, his parents are big fans of TMNT. Mick…not so much. He doesn’t hate the cartoon, he just thinks his parents went a bit overboard naming their kids after the main characters.

As their strongest friend, Mick is the ‘lifter and carrier’ of the group. He likes to be useful, but wishes he wasn’t seen as just ‘the strong guy’.

Mick rides a Thunderclaw (M) he names Rhino, because he loves animals.

He’s the one who suspects the dragons aren’t merely intelligent, but full on sapient, and with Alexa’s help comes up with ways to test this hypothesis.

Mick has a crush on June and thinks she’s the prettiest girl he knows.

Smart Gal: Alexa Baker

She’s the techie of the group, and her friends like to joke that Amazon’s Alexa was named after her.

Out of all the five, Alexa is the most nervous around dragons. She is particularly anxious when it comes to the more aggressive species.

The irony is that her dragon ends up being a Changewing (F) that she names Maple.

She likes to challenge herself by sneaking past her dad, who is head of security at the research institute they’re staying at.

Her dad and Kory’s mum seem to have a thing for each other, which is super awkward, because Alexa has a crush on Kory and definitely doesn’t see him as a step-brother.

Alexa has a great love of detective stories, escape rooms and other puzzle solving games.

The Dragons

Oreo: an adventurous and stubborn male Night Light who’s father is a Light Fury and mother is a Night Fury. Oreo grew up on New Berk until he set off to explore. He meets Kory when the boy is out hiking. Oreo isn’t scared of humans, but has no interest in having a rider. Kory’s persistence pays off however and he ends up rescuing the boy from a territorial Whispering Death.

Hob-Nob: a gentle and skittish female Hobblegrunt who is caught and studied by the researchers at DRACO, to learn more about her species colour change abilities. When Ian realises how desperate she is to be free, he lets her out of her cage. In her rush to leave she accidentally snags him and carries him back to her nest. He earns her trust by freeing her and also not harming her babies.

Gary: a playful and daring male Windwalker who is rescued from poachers but left with an injured wing. He splashes June with water from his pool when she walks by. She splashes him right back and the two of them quickly become friends. When she realises that he’s lonely without his pod, June spends more time with Gary, earning his trust until he offers to let her ride on his back.

Rhino: a grumpy and tenacious male Thunderclaw who is also rescued from poachers. He was left behind by his migrating flock and needs to recover from a broken leg before he can catch up. Mick is the one who takes care of him whilst he’s recovering, and whilst Rhino takes a while to warm up to the teen, they bond eventually. Rhino then decides to stick around with Mick after that.

Maple: a mischievous and inquisitive female Changewing who turns up to explore the research facility. She sees Alexa sneaking out and follows the girl. At first Alexa is really nervous and keeps trying to shoo her away, but it’s no good. Eventually the staff catch Maple and plan to relocate her. Alexa, not wanting her new friend to be sent far away, lets her out of the cage instead.

Antagonists

The Bully: Lee ‘Buzzcut’ Burns

An old bully/ rival of Kory and Ian, he shows up in the area on holiday (supposedly) and discovers the gang are riding dragons.

He demands a dragon of his own in exchange for keeping the secret.

Lee secretly plans to use said dragon to make money.

The gang do their best to keep him from both getting a dragon to abuse and from revealing their secret club to the adults at DRACO.

The Smuggler: Damien Evans

The leader of a smuggling/poaching ring that captures and sells wild dragons to various, often illegal, zoos and menageries.

He is an enemy of the flight club members by extension of being in conflict with DRACO. However, since they’re teens he doesn’t take them seriously.

Their first encounter with him is when they rescue a baby Featherhide that he’s smuggled from Brazil, even though it’s too cold in Canada for her.

Damien is greedy and arrogant. He thinks his connections will be enough to keep him from going to prison. Kory and the others become determined to prove him wrong and put him behind bars for good.

The Bounty Hunter: Jacque ‘The Ripper’ Kennedy

He claims dragons are dangerous beasts that must be culled for the good of society and the ‘ecosystem’, despite not really caring about nature.

This is really just a thinly veiled justification for his desire to kill dragons for glory and prove how tough he is.

Jacque is convinced he is descended from the Normans, who in turn are descended from Vikings, and sees himself as ‘continuing their legacy’.

The fact that it was Vikings who fought against dragon hunters isn’t something he wants to acknowledge. He doesn’t see the original Berkians as ‘real Vikings’. His idea of ‘real Vikings’ are white supremacists.

Lucifer

After getting done with his work at around 1am (early for him but ya know), He went by your room to make sure you didnt go to the attic check on you

He found you tossing and turning, which surprised him a little. Hadnt he sent you to bed a few hours ago?

You heard him open the door, and looked at him softly. "MC, youre supposed to be asleep."

"I cant sleep," You said softly. "I.. Can you hug me? Just until I can fall asleep?"

The dark haired demon was surprised. You were asking him for cuddles? He wasnt normally asked for that.

He didnt complain, however. He went over to you, wrapping his arms around you. His hands found their place around your waist, gently holding you against his chest. You could hear his heart beating, soft and rhythmic. His warm embrace and the soft beating of his heart eventually lulled you to sleep.

Mammon

This man, oh boy.

We all know he bursts into your room whenever he wants. Well one night, he decides its a great idea to run into your room at 1am to talk about how great it would be to make money off of 'those dumb videos humans are always watchin'!'

When he runs in, it scares the hell out of you (hA get it). You jump up, which makes Mammon jump to.

"Hey, Human! Youre supposta be asleep!"

"Thats hard to do when crazy people like you always run in!"

"Jeez, ok ok. im sorry,"

"It will take more than an apology to make it up to me." You open your arms, looking up at him tiredly.

Lets just say that he went r e d. This man, hes just a blushing awkward mess. "Uh- Well, I mean, of course you wanna cuddle with The Great Mammon!"

He sat next to you wrapping his arms around you all flustered. His heart was rapid, which made you smile. You let your eyes close. The avatar of greed however stayed awake, not caring how tired he was. He wanst going to miss a moment of holding you.

Levi

The purple haired Avatar of Envy tended to play video games late into the night. Of course, he found a new game on Shteam (i dont know what its called there), which means he had to download it on his phone and to run to your room to tell you about it (You got the yucky otaku to leave his room, Congrats!)

He burst in the door, "MC!! WAKE UP!!" You were already awake, so you sat up. Hw was a little surprised you were awake. "GUESS WHAT??"

"What is it, Levi?" You asked curiously.

"A NEW GAME CAME OUT, ITS GOT -bla bla game stuff-!!!"

"Oh that's awesome, Levi!" You smiled at him sleepily.

"Right!" He smiled happily. "I want to play it with you, can i?"

"Hm.. I'm really tired, Levi. But you can cuddle me and play at the same time if you want?" You knew you wouldn't be able to get him to cuddle if you said it was because you couldn't sleep.

He awkwardly sat on your bed, your head finding a place on his chest as he "played his game". In reality, he was just internally screaming.

Satan

Getting the avatar of wrath to cuddle you to sleep was easy enough. You knew he would most likely be up late reading, so as you carefully climbed over his mountains of books to reach his bed, you sat on his bed.

This shook the blonde demon enough to make him look up from his book.

"MC? What are you doing?"

"Satan, i'm super tired and can't sleep.. Could you cuddle me?" You asked quietly.

"Ah," He nodded, scooting over a little and patting the space next to him. "You need to sleep, MC. Its imporant to your health."

You laid with him, letting him wrap his arms around you. He kept reading ad you slept, his soft heartbeat helping you drift off to sleep.

Asmo

Spa day had alwags been a great way to relax for the two of you, spending time with you always helped Asmodeous relax. But maybe you started relaxing to hard.. You started to fall asleep while doing face masks.

"MC!" the strawberry blonde shook your shoulder. You bolted awake. "No wonder you looked so dreadful! You havent been sleeping, have you?"

"I havent been sleeping well, no," You said quietly.

"Then this calls for some beauty rest!" He scrubbed off the face masks before making you lay down in his huge bed. He of course laid down with you, cuddling you and playing soft binaural beats to help lull you into a deep rest.

Beel and Belphie

The oranged haired demon had (once again) snuck to the kitchen. You had wandered down there looking for him, part of your tasks with lucifer and you could always count on Beel to sneak you a piece of whatever you ate. Soon enough, you saw him eating out of the fridge.

"Beel?" You went over. He didnt turn, just handed you a slice of pizza. "Cmon, you know Lucifer will kill us both if you eat all of it."

"I know," He said, turning to face you. "Im just so hungry.."

Before you could speak, a voice chimed in from the doorframe. "You guys are to loud," Belphie was there, cow pillow in hand.

"Oh sorry," Beel said. "MC, lets go eat in my room." you nodded, Beel leading you towards his room. It was only after you were already laying down did you see Belphie had followed. You tilted your head, but Belphie just plopped down ontop of you. Beel put his arm around the two of you, eating his pizza quietly.

After you finished your slice, you could hear Belphie soft snoring.

"You should sleep. You look tired. And dont worry, I'll get Belphie up in the morning." Beel said, nodding at you. Being sandwiched between them, you didnt have much of a choice. You slowly drifted off, Belphies snoring lulling you to sleep.

Caught In Between 33. Debrief

Summary: Athena Dumont has finally found a place to call home after many years of foster homes and traveling. She had finally tamed her supernatural side and just wanted to live a normal teenage life. She quickly discovers that there is nothing normal about her hometown, Mystic Falls and gets sucked right back into the supernatural world.

The next morning Caroline and I head back over to Elena’s to clean up the mess. As we were scrubbing the floors Elena and others walk-in.

“Hey, you’re home,” Caroline says as I continue scrubbing the floor.

“We were trying to clean the burn mark where Kol--” I start before we both notice Stefan carrying Jeremy’s body. “We couldn’t get the spot out,” I say quieter.

“Come on. Let’s get him upstairs,” Elena says. Caroline and I look at each other confused before we start to clean again, giving them their space.

“How long has she been like that?” Caroline asks Stefan as he makes his way into the kitchen.

“Ever since we found his body. She hasn’t said anything except that she’s waiting for him to wake up,” Stefan explains while helping.

“But he’s not going to wake up. She knows that right?” I state. Stefan puts his finger to his mouth and moves to the sink to turn the faucet on.

“Look. Deep down, I think she has to, but we’re talking about Elena here. She feels grief more powerfully than anyone else. I think her denial is the one thing protecting her from letting it all in,” Stefan explains.

“She can’t stay like that forever,” Caroline says.

“I know, but I don’t want to be the one to break her out of it, not until we know that bonnie is safe, not until we get Damon over here too, you know--,” Stefan trails off.

“Use the sire bond to convince her that everything is ok?” Caroline finishes for him.

“I’m not in denial,” Elena says and Stefan turns the water off. “I know that he was supernatural, but did you see? His tattoo is gone. The tattoo had the spell that opened Silas’ chamber. Maybe it being gone means that he fulfilled his supernatural destiny. Maybe he’s back to normal, it’s possible right?” Elena suggests.

“Elena--” I say.

“It’s possible, Athena. There’s a chance. It may be minuscule, but it’s hope, and I’m gonna hold on to that hope with everything that I’ve got because there’s no way-- there’s absolutely no way that my brother is dead. I’m not in denial,” Elena states before walking away.

I continue to finish cleaning while Stefan and Caroline step outside to make a plan. After a little while, I start to smell something. “What’s that smell?” I ask making my way to the porch.

“It’s his body. He’s starting to decompose,” Stefan says. “Tell your mom to get Dr. Fell over here,” Stefan says to Caroline.

Dr. Fell came over to inspect Jeremy’s body, but as she inspected it I heard a commotion from upstairs. Elena was freaking out over Dr. Fell saying that Jeremy was dead. I head outside since it was a family matter that I don’t think I should involve myself in. As I wait for Dr. Fell to finish, Caroline arrives at the house on the phone with Bonnie and Damon arriving shortly after.

“Thank god,” Caroline says.

“We were so worried,” I say as we take turns hugging Bonnie.

“I’m ok,” Bonnie says.

“Could you get Stefan out here?” Damon asks.

“They said that she knows what to do,” Caroline says.

“Caroline, I need to talk to my brother,” Damon demands.

“What’s wrong?” I ask. I head back inside with Caroline and Bonnie to talk about what happened. Me, Bonnie, Caroline, Elena and Matt all sit at the table.

“It’s called an expression triangle. I need to complete it for Silas,” Bonnie explains.

“What? Bonnie, you can’t kill 12 people,” Matt says.

“I know it sounds crazy, but it’s the only way to get enough power,” Bonnie says.

“To do what?” I ask.

“Once the veil is dropped, the other side doesn’t exist anymore. There’s nothing separating us. We’re all just one,” Bonnie explains.

“Bonnie, you are talking like a crazy person. You are not killing 12 people, and you sure as hell can’t invite every monster who has every died back in this world,” Caroline says.

“Caroline, I think she knows that,” Matt says.

“No. I can do it. I have the power. I can bring everyone back-- Jeremy, Alaric, Vicki,” Bonnie says.

“Bonnie, stop it you can’t just say these things,” Caroline says before a phone rings.

“I’ll get it,” Elena says.

“Hey, look. I’ll get it,” Matt offers.

“I said i’ll get it,” Elena says moving to the phone. As she answers the phone Damon and Stefan walk in. “Jeremy can’t come to the phone right now. He’s not...I’m sorry. He’s dead,” Elena says before hanging up. She then heads upstairs leaving us a bit clueless.

A few minutes later Elena comes back downstairs, “Where Bonnie?” She asks.

“We told Matt to take her home. We thought it’d be best,” Stefan says.

“Ok. Guess we’re gonna have to do this the old fashioned way,” Elena says.

“Do what?” I ask.

“Put his body on the couch,” Elena says.

“Elena? Elena, you need help finding something?” Caroline asks.

“Got it,” Elena says immediately dumping gas onto her kitchen countertop.

“What are you doing?” Stefan asks.

“We need a cover story right? You think I didn’t hear you guys talking earlier? Well, what are we gonna say--animal attack, tumble down thw stairs? No. We burn the house down with him inside of it,” Elena says dumping the gas all over her house.

“Elena, stop it,” Stefan says.

“Why, because you want me to not be in denial? You want me to face the truth? This is the truth, Stefan. I don’t want to live here anymore. I don;t want these sketches. I don’t want this x-box. Not gonna need this bourbon anymore. Alaric’s not here to drink it, i mean, unless you guys are willing to bring back every supernatural creature on the other side to get him back. Would you? I know you want your drinking buddy back. Would you, Damon? Because I wouldn’t. I don’t know. I mean, does that make me a bad person? I have no idea,” Elena rants while spreading alcohol around the room and on Jeremy. “He’s not gonna need that anymore,” She tosses Damon the Gilbert ring.

“Elena, stop it. You’re scaring me,” I say.

“What else are we supposed to do with the body, Athena? I mean there’s no room in the Gilbert family plot. Jenna and John took the last spots,” Elena says lighting a match.

“No,no. Elena stop,” Stefan says.

“There’s nothing here for me anymore, Stefan. Every inch of this house is filled with memories of the people that I love that have died--my mom, my dad, Jeremy, and Jenna, and Alaric, John, even John. I mean they’re all dead. Everyone is dead. So what and I supposed to--I mean how am I--I can’t even--There’s nothing left for me. Ahh!” Elena says and drops the match but Damon catches it before it hits the ground.

“Elena I need you to calm down,” Damon says.

“No, no, no. I can’t. I can’t. I can’t. I--. No It hurts. It hurts. Just make it stop. Please make it stop. It hurts,” Elena sobs.

“Damon...help her,” Stefan says. Damon quickly kneels next to her and embraces her.

“I can help you. I want you to let me help you. I can help you,” Damon says.

“How?” Elena asks.

“Turn it off,” Damon says.

“What? No, no,” Stefan says under his breath.

“Just turn it off, and everything will go away. That’s what you have to do. It’s what I want you to do. Just turn it off,” Damon says and just like that Elena was no longer sobbing.

After everything seemed to be sorted, even though none of us wanted Elena to turn her humanity off. I decided to head out. I went back to the Salvatores to grab my stuff before making my way to my own house.

A/N: I know the scene at the dining table is a bit awkward, there was three convos stitched together in the show….so i hope it makes sense. I may or may not skip the next few eps in case they don’t have much of an impact on Athena’s story. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

What is your opinion on the third movie htyd?

It was visually fantastic. The plot was bad, and the characters were less than stellar. Still a strong movie, but definitely the weakest of the three. Here’s a read-more because I T ‘ S   R A N T   T I M E   B A Y B E E

The light fury was fantastic. She looked beautiful, was sufficiently wild and catlike again (my main complaint against the 2nd and 3rd movies is that Toothless acts way more like a dog in them), and I love her cloaking ability. Shoving Hiccup off of Toothless only for Toothless to dive towards him, was mirrored beautifully with shoving Toothless to safety, then diving towards Hiccup to save him, too.

Toothless was... back and forth. I suspect I would’ve liked the mating dance scene had I not seen it in the trailers so many times already - as it was, it was hard to watch. I liked him pining for his ability to fly when Light took off and expected him to follow, and his exchange with her when she shoved Hiccup off was hilarious. I’m never a big fan of “infatuated at first sight” plotlines, though, so he definitely had the weaker part of the romantic subplot. And the lightning thingy was really cool, but I wish they’d used it between him discovering it an using it against the controlled dragons - not only would it follow the “rule of 3,” but it also would’ve made it seem less like “it’s not a deus ex machina if we show it once before” and more like something he could’ve practiced or played with, especially when flirting. Also, not really digging how Toothless is suddenly ruler over all the Hidden World. He took down one Bewilderbeast. ONE!! And it’s not like Light is clearly, undisputably Queen Of Hidden World by being a light fury, because there are other light fury families in the background! It seemed like a decision made to give him a reason to stay in THW instead of just... having a nest with Light somewhere away from Berk (for her comfort) but within a reasonable flight (for his).

Hiccup was dumb. I can only imagine that this took place about five years after HTTYD2 or even more, because that is an awful lot of trust to put on the line for some whackadoodle plan that has no guarantee of fruition. In the first movie, some Vikings were a little on the edge about finding the Nest, despite knowing that it must exist, and that finding it would be objectively better than not doing so. In 3, Hiccup somehow gets them to all agree on something that is incredibly unlikely to exist, they have no idea where it is, and it’s unknowable if their lives would improve or worsen from finding it. Also? After that big, climactic battle where Berk only wins because both Vikings AND dragons were working together? “Oh well I guess we don’t need each other, and we’re probably better off separate.” NO YOU DUMBFUCK GO GRAB YOUR BIG SCALY DOG AND SET UP A TIMESHARE

The other riders were actually really good. I loved Tuff’s “come, cry into my long, manly beard” stuff, and Ruff annoying the hell out of Villain Guy. Valka, too; she continued to move far more in sync with Cloudjumper than the other riders did with their dragons, which is great because they’ve presumably been flying together, isolated from Vikings, for over two decades. Actually, just typing that makes me even madder about the “uwu we can’t live together anymore” ending. Those two spent TWENTY YEARS happily together, there is NO WAY either of them would just be “oh okay, bye then.” Nope, even if everything else happened like that, Valka would either become That One Dragon Lady or Cloudjumper would just... “Valka. I hope you’re ready for a couple more decades among only dragons.” Like... “oh, Chief Hiccup said dragons are going away” “aye well the last chief said dragons were evil killers and to slaughter them on sight and look what Hiccup did. Looks like disobeying stupid orders runs in the family.”

Villain Guy. Whatever his name is. I’m calling him VG because I don’t respect him. He looks smart not because he IS smart, but because he’s never in the same room as people who can walk and think at the same time, except for when he’s threatening Hiccup. His motivation is roughly the same as Drago’s, but instead of combat ability and a goddamn Bewilderbeast, he has an endless potion of Plot Contrivance. Ah, yes, we know that Berk will go west because Sherlock Holmes But Unlikable has declared that furies don’t like the cold, despite Toothless loving to play in the snow and having the time of his life - it can’t possibly be that the map has your army one way, islands on a straight shot west, and literally nowhere else to go. How devious of you, to have put off killing Ruff and that other dragon for long enough to get the basic idea of following an unwitting pawn to your destination (a destination that YOU KNOW THE LOCATION OF ALREADY). Like yeah dude I get it you think you’re the Joker or Moriarity or something and you’re in it for The Thrill Of The Hunt, but, like, you don’t arm your men with anti-dragon weaponry at all when it comes to finally swing that trap shut. What happens if, somehow, your masterfully masterminded master plan of mastery fails to capture the Alpha, because who knows maybe alpha furies are magically immune to Plot Venom? “Furies mate for life” boy wouldn’t it SUCK if Light already had a partner before you caught her? Wouldn’t it be JUST MISERABLE for you if Light decided that actually, fuck Toothless, he’s too human? Wouldn’t it just RAIN ON YOUR PARADE if it turned out that mating for life is a behavior only exhibited in cruel, forced captivity and thus is not present in Light, a wild fury, or Toothless, a fury who, the very moment he expressed desire, got Hiccup to build him a working tail? Wouldn’t it be just MAGNIFICENT if Toothless was already mated to Hiccup and Astrid? anyway my point is that this guy’s presented as a mastermind and he’s about as much a mastermind as Monster Musume’s generic protagonist.

HTTYD3 was a beautiful move and I don’t regret a single second nor cent I spent on it. But boy, could it have been so much better.

I hated this last chapter (for me it was a trigger of bad memories) What we saw, was not (and I want to believe that it will not be) what previously defined Levi&NicoThis was a stumbling block (as in all relationships). Please do not ruin a beautiful couple.

I know I said I wouldn't answer or post - but seeing that someone else found this scene a trigger for bad memories, it kind of comforting. I'm really sorry you felt that way and had to relieve all that, especially with something you love, because it sucks ass.

Greys is ruining them right now, and people are hating on Nico more than ever, because they don't understand. They haven't developed his character enough for them to understand. If I were Alex Landi right now, well...

I'd be embarrassed. I really fucking would be.

Greys is doing him so dirty. They're doing Nico Kim so dirty. And I for one, cannot stand it. It pisses me off beyond belief. This is representation. This isn't the representation the LGBT+ and Asian community need.

I for one can't talk for the Asian community, so I'd like hear from someone who can. How do you feel in this whole situation? Are you able to shed some light to help us a little more?

I can talk for the LGBT+ community, however. As someone who is pretty much gay (I'm bi, but I'm still questioning on whether I'm a lesbian, it's a struggle), seeing this is insulting, in my own opinion.

It isn't always a baby gay and someone who's more 'experienced'. It was the same with Calzona, in a way. You had Callie, who was just discovering that she herself was bi. Then you had Arizona, who already knew herself and had done her coming out. I can't really remember what was said between them, but whatever, it's been a while.

We don't always have a bad coming out. I didn't, for one. Sure, it wasn't bad, but it sure as hell wasn't easy and it was scary. Same for my sister. Some people can't cole out, because it will literally put their life in danger.

Some people can't come out because they themselves are still fighting with this idea they are gay, when they've been told their whole life it is wrong.

Some people can't because they're scared how their family may react. They may be cast out, excluded, thrown out to the streets, they may be beaten, or killed, as I mentioned above. For all they know, they could have a really accepting family, but because of tradition/culture, all that jazz, they fear it.

I'm hoping that is the case for Nico. I'm hoping that he's scared to come out because his parents are critical, but they turn out to be really loving and accepting otherwise. Being gay isn't a failure in life, being yourself isn't a failure. Even if it brings its own hardships and battles. But god, once you fight through that and allow yourself to be who you truly are, it's relieving.

I hope Nico reaches that revelation. By himself, or with Levi's help, I don't mind. But he needs to know it's okay to be yourself, and that blood doesn't necessarily mean someone is family. Blood isn't as binding as people think.

It's saying that those who stand by you, and fight for you, and love and care for you - they are your family, whether they are blood related or not.

Nico has a family in Grey Sloan, whether he knows that or not, or whether the writers know that. Nico has more than his family and Levi. He has a large support system around him, and we've seen how that support system works for 16 seasons now.

Damn, this got long, I'm sorry. I hope it all makes sense, and it actually feels good to get this off my chest. Sounds cheesy, but I have the same problem as Nico when it comes to sharing my feelings, no matter the situation. It's ruined a lot of things for me - which is why it affected me so much, seeing the scene. Seeing a trait of mine almsot villain-ised, it hurt, and made me feel like shit, because it isn't easy to talk about your feelings at all. It feels open, and vulnerable, and when you've learned to keep things to yourself for so many years, opening up again hurts, especially if in the oast all your feelings have been invalidated. It makes you feel sonstupid, and dumb.

I rambled again - I hope some of this makes sense. It's 5am and I got woken up by the biggest piece of thunder any of you would ever have heard. Just one piece. Genuinely thought we were being bombed, or it was an earthquake, or the end of the world, it was that long. I've been shaking for maybe an hour now.

Okay since i dont always update for fics (Actually I just lost motivation for it once I got too into it) I decided to just do it like this:

-Marinette/Ladybug’s background would be that Marinette isnt a skater and she still design in my plot of this AU and she did design ladybug’s outfit. Marinette is always fascinated with all the figure skater’s outfits. Though she did skated on her childhood along with her best friend,Nino, she wasnt into it that much unlike him. Until she watched Adrien’s junior debut. Marinette then became a huge fan of Adrien Agreste. She was surprised to know that her figure skating otaku friend became best buds with him. So she had met him once (on his first debut). A few years after that Ladybug exsisted because of an accident. A video of her trying out a new costume while skating one of Gabriel Agreste’s master piece and a few complicated jumps and step sequences there got out. The perpetrator was cute little Manon who is also a skating otaku. Their family owned the skating house Marinette and Nino used to practice on their childhood (they still occasionally do it but of course Marinette trips here and there). This video went viral to all Skaters. Nino had called his friend the morning it got out because HIS FRIEND CAN SKATE AND DIDNT FALL ON HER FEET. Of course Marinette is all like I WAS FEELING THE OUTFIT I DIDNT MEAN FOR IT END UP LIKE THAT and went on a full day Panic Mode. Sure no one would recognize her (with the make up and all) but she was still scared. Enter Tikki who knows Marinette with or without make up (She was the one who painted her face on that video after all) saying she should join the next competition! But Marinette wouldnt budge. Because there is no way Marinette wont trip in front of the whole world. Eventually she was then convinced by Tikki’s reasons (like not letting the world know who is behind the “mask” and having an alias)(I honestly dont know if thats possible). So she joined the competition. With Tikki’s help, she met a proffesional coach name Alya Cesaire. There begins Ladybug’s adventure as a figure skater.

-Now enter Adrien Agreste/Chat Noir. Chat doesnt show much in this AU since I have absolutely know idea on where to put him (WHICH SUCKS CUS I LOVE BOTH OF THEM!!!) So it means Adrien has the most screen shows. So yeah Adrien Agreste is the son of Gabriel Agreste, A legend in the Skating World. Gabriel Agreste has made himself a respectful title because of his records. Every Grand Prix he enters, he break his record. Currently, the highest record he had made which is the highest skating record is 403. 50 for a combined score of the short program and free skate. This leaves Adrien being more pressured. He did well on his Junior debut. He won but it wasnt enough for his father because he didnt beat the highest record(Gabriel’s record). He didnt take much of the harsh words of his father that night before the celebration because he met his best friend there, Nino Lahiffe. He brought his best friend who made his costume and had supported him all through out. She was very shy around him and cant seem to make her words which he found cute (Reverse Crush AU!! But not really). Eventually he fell for Marinette but only Nino knows. His friendship with Nino is also something new to him. He was used to the intimidated hostile act towards him but with Nino’s chill personality, it surprised him. Then enter Ladybug’s viral video, his father became more strict. Practice almost 24 hours, He had to run two or three more miles than usual and stretching till he felt like he no longer have bones. It became a hell for him. His father had retired to become his coach(sorry forgot to mention this earlier). He didnt exactly hate Ladybug, it wasnt her fault his father is very competitive and demanding. But he did built a certain competitive attitude on her. So when she comes to the skating industry, he didnt fully welcomed her. But he was still nice to her. Then enter a small relaxing time for the skaters, which was more practice time for him, he decided to break a few rules. He decided to go around the country their in(which is where the Grand Prix Final happens). As he was about to go out, the papparazzi and his fans are waiting outside. This was a hindrance to his plans. Eventually he thought about diguises and asked Plagg, his make up artist, to do a unrecognizable “mask” to be able to hide to the press. Now Chat Noir he went around the country and had an accidental meeting with Marinette at some busy street. She was lost and got carried by the crowd. Marinette then fell in love with him (he doesnt know though) because of his fun and gentle way of being with her. Their hang out (*cough*date*cough*) got cut off by Nino noticing Marinette’s pigtails on the crowd. He doesnt want his identity be revealed to Marinette because he didnt act the way Adrien Agreste should act, so he left her with a goodbye and a kiss to the cheek.

-Nino/Carapace is ,as i stated earlier, the childhood best friend of Marinette. They grew up together and he always tried to keep Marinette from falling on ice. Eventually because of that he built up a slow pace. This became his signature move. He was called “The Turtle” on ice. Eventually that became a joke to all his friends and had decided to call him “Carapace”. His coach, Wayzz, helped him on getting his name known in the skating world. In his Junior Debut, he met his Best Friend who beat him to first place. He wasnt that depressed about it because he knows he did well on his short program and free skate. But he was worried about Adrien’s well being when he first laid his eyes on him. The boys was so skinny and he looks like he’ll fly away when a light wind blows. He was amazed once he saw him on ice. Adrien’s jumps compared to his are higher and much smoother. He step sequence are longer and faster. Everything about his skating just blew him away. When he looked at his best friend he saw how amazed she was and teased her about it. Marinette of course noticed the dissapointment in him and encouraged and supported him. She smiled and laugh with him. He really did love his best friend. Then a few years later, he met this tenacious coach, Alya Cesaire. The coach of his best friend. At first he was in denial about his feelings until she confessed to him at the small break for the skaters. He was confused at first. Then before the competition starts, he kissed her in front of the press.

-Alya/Rena Rouge enters the stage. Alya of course is a well known coach. But she has a secret. She is the infamous Rena Rouge of the Ice. She hid that title and lived the life of Alya Cesaire. She knows Tikki because she was the mentor of her make up artist, Trixx. Then she met Marinette and they just hit it off the perfectly well. Her alias, Ladybug, was made by her. Marinette also knows about her past as Rena Rouge. She found out about it when Alya told her her first every competition. Marinette’s Panic Mode had eased and she was avle to perform well on ice. Then time skip to when alya finds out she’s best buds with Nino Lahiffe, Alya freaked. She wasnt flustered around him but she acted more guarded and her tenacity level doubled. Then she found out why she was like that, its because she likes him. And the whole break she asked Marinette for help on trying to confess. All day was a failed attempts on romantic moods. So when Marinette got lost and the two of them are being carried by the crowds, she shouted and admitted her feelings. Of course that left a flustered Nino. She assured him that its fine if she doesnt reciprocate her feelings and fine on staying as friends. Eventually they found Marinette with a guy and Alya told her of what happened once they got to their hotel room.

-Chloe/Queen Bee is still somehow the same. Chloe is a teammate of Adrien. She and Adrien are friends but nothing as great as his friendship with Nino. She is boastful but when being Queen Bee, she acts the complete opposite of Chloe. She created Queen Bee as the persona for dating her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Nathaniel Kutzburg, is a judge on the boys free skate. At first she only dated him for Adrien’s sake. But alas she was captivated by his shy demeanor. Nathaniel was hurt when she admits that she first approached him because of Adrien, but when Chloe told him that it was the greatest idea she had he was confused. She explained further as to why it was thw best idea she ever had. It was because she met him. The real him. But itll be a scandal if word got out that a skater and a judge are dating. So they both created Queen Bee. Pollen helps them on their secret meet ups and her outfits. She’s basically like her big sister. Then Ladybug came and she didnt really felt threathened. But she acts like it as Chloe.

-I also like the idea of Chloe acting hostile to everyone because of her mother(canon verse) so i put it in this AU. Both she and Adrien are mother less. Chloe’s mother left them because she got tired of the skating world and wants to settle down, but her dad (her coach) wanted to keep the skating legacy his family have. So they filed a divorce when Chloe was young. As to Adrien, his mother is a Ballet Artist. But she had died due to a car crash with him. He survived because of her mother. His father of course is a famous figure skater and he met Adrien’s mother, Emilie, when he was a newbie. Gabriel once studied ballet for the sake of skating and Emilie just loves Ballet.

-Marinette’s parents are still bakers. Though her mother was a gymnast. She used to win olympic medals. She was friends with Emilie too. But she never heard any news about her since she got married to Gabriel Agreste. She met Tom at her trip in France. She did her usual running and stretching at a park when she noticed a cute bakery nearby. She went inside and found him covered in flour with a cute smile on his face. She fell in love at that moment. He did too. So they went on cute dates and such. They got married before Emilie got married with Gabriel. So Emilie was at their wedding.

Okay so thats all that i can think of for now but i might add a few ones some time in the future. And just a heads up, if you guys think some of these sounds familiar its because i used Yuri on Ice!! As some base plot and just tweaked it a bit. I havent seen any fics about the skating Au for Miraculous Ladybug so I have no idea if they’ve been made yet. Now as for the drawing…Im not a good artist and Im doing my absolute best to draw and make up for the not updating for Marichat May thing. Also I kinda imagined Ladybug weaeing simple clothing for skating because of course you woulndt want things to get in your way as u skate. Her ribbons arent supposed to be long but I messed up lol. In the Grave part 2

This is a continuation of the request where they don’t know Danny is half ghost, back by popular demand!

Peter had quickly grown to learn that he Avenger's idea of a field trip wasn't really a field trip so much as it was a mission but with a little more sight seeing. Amity Park had been thought to be just one big tourist trap, but it was so much more than tat. Despite the small town, the buildings reached new heights and friendly faces everywhere they turned.

"Do you think any of these guys have ever actually seen Phantom?" Peter asked Steve, who was looking at some brochures with pictures of Phantom fighting some dragon. He handed it to Peter.

"Either that or it's photo shopped." He turned to the lady behind the desk, giving her that old Brooklyn smile. "Excuse me, Ma'am," he said, "But can you tell us where we can find this Phantom character?"

"Oh, nobody knows how to contact him," the lady said, swishing her red hair being her shoulder. "Buut, if you really want to know more about ghosts then you need to talk to the Fentons. They're the local experts around these parts."

"And how might we find them?"

"Oh, the Fentons? You can't miss them. They own a place called Fentonworks not to far from here."

Steve nodded and thanked her, taking the brochure with him as he pulled Peter along.

Thanks to them both being born and bred New Yorkers, the walking really didn't bother them. It was more than bitter October wind that nipped at their skin that caused the irritation. Peter pulled his jacket closer, and Steve zipped his up.

On the way to the Fenton's home they ran into a group of kids laying heroes and villains, smiling at how one boy called dibs on Phantom while another called on Widow. Oh, Natasha would get a kick out of that.

"What do you think she meant by we can't miss it?" Peter asked. Steve looked up from the kids and looked at Peter, then ahead.

"Probably that," he pointed ahead, and Peter looked at the building. Then looked at the top of it, and understood perfectly.

Is that a...UFO?"

"Maybe? Nowadays it feels like everything is."

It only took a couple of short minutes to walk the rest of the distance. Peter let Steve do the talking.

"Who are you?" A red headed girl with a blue head band asked.

"Oh, I'm Steve, and this is my cousin, Peter. We were just wondering if the Fentons are home?" The girl sighed and looked back into thw house.

"Mom! Dad! Some tourists are here to see you!" She let them in and led them to the couch, offering them something to drink. When they declined shw went to the kitchen anyway.

Peter had been in new houses plenty of times before, but this was something else. It was nice and the TV was cute, but he had a nagging sense in the back of his head that all is not what it seems to be here. However, before he could tell Steve the door burst open and then was quickly slammed again by the black haired kid that had run through. He pulled back the curtains just a tiny bit and sighed in relief before turning back around and coming to a dead stop, staring at them with wide eyes.

"Uh, who are you?" He asked, dropping his backpack down.

And I was wondering how him and the girl were related, Peter thought with a smile. Steve answered for him once again.

"I'm Steve, this is my cousin, Peter. We're tourists and had a couple of the questions about the ghosts in the twon and that other guy-Peter what's his name? Phantom?"

Peter couldn't tell if Steve was joking or not, but it certainly did the trick. The boy's face had scrunched up when they asked about the ghosts, but when they had mentioned Phantom that all seemed to change. He walked over and sat in the chair next to the couch.

"Well, what do you want to know?" He asked. "Oh, and the name's Danny, by the way." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, probably out of habit, Steve observed, and started bouncing his leg up and down like he couldn't sit still.

"Do you think Phantom is a good guy?" Peter asked. He had only met the ghost kid once, and yeah, he had helped them, but that doesn't mean he was on their side all the way. He’d seen enough horror movies t be suspicious.

"Totally. I mean, my parents don't really think so, but they're ghost hunters. You can't win them all if you're, you know, a ghost."

"But what about the thing with the mayor and the bank robberies?" Steve asked. Peter looked at him, trying to hide his shock. Why hadn't Steve told him about that on the way over?

"Well, with the mayor that' kind of weird. We were in the middle of a ghost invasion and one of them overshadowed-it's a fancy way to say possession-the mayor and made it look like Phantom was dragging him away. And with the bank robberies there was this circus freak who called himself Freakshow. He had this scepter thing that could control ghosts, no matter how powerful. He made Phantom and others steal for him and stuff."

"You seem to have a lot of experience with Phantom," Steve's voice was level, but Peter saw the way his fingers twitched, like he knew something else was going on. So Peter wasn't the only one feeling that way.

"Danny, you're home early," a red headed woman in a blue jumpsuit said. Danny just shrugged.

"Tucker and Sam got paired on a science project together so they're off working on that."

"Well what about you, sweetie?"

"Ugh, I got paired with Dash."

"Hey, Mads, who are these guys?" A deep voice boomed, and a moment later there was a large man in an orange jumpsuit with his hand on his wife's shoulder. Behind the parents, the older child rolled her eyes.

"Steve and Peter, the guests who wanted to know about ghosts? Honestly dad, you need to start writing stuff down." It sounded rude but the comment was full of love as she pushed past her parents and went upstairs. Danny got up too.

"I, uh, have to start on that project," he said, not meeting anybody' eyes before heading up himself. Steve and Peter looked after them with curiosity.

"So, you wanted to know about ghosts?" Maddie asked sweetly.

Saying yes was probably the biggest mistake of their lives.

"Dude, we wasted a whole day with them," Peter said once he was sure they had walked far enough to not be heard by the Fentons.

"But we know more about what we may have to fight," Steve assured.

"I just want to see Phantom again," Peter said.

It was as if there was some higher power took pity on him and answered his calls, because if it weren't for Steve pulling Peter back at the last minute he would have collided with the black and white blur that was Phantom. The ghost boy groaned and stood up, brushing off his suit.

"Sorry about that," he told them. His voice was tinged with an echo, but Steve and Peter both though it was familiar. Phantom looked up at their faces, and something like recognition flashed in his eyes before he saluted and took off again, fighting some sort of giant green snake ghost.

"Should we help him?" Peter asked. Steve shook his head.

"No, let's see what he can really do."

They watched as the hero flew this way and that, the serpent following him, not realizing what Phantom was doing. Within a few short minutes the snake was tied up in a knot and sucked into the thermos Phantom had been carrying the night he had met the Avengers. Then he flew away.

"Hey, isn't that that way too..." Peter started.

"Come on, we better follow," Steve said, breaking out into a run. "Put the suit on."

They ran, Peter quickly ducking into an ally and taking off his civilian clothes, revealing his Spider-Man costume underneath. He quickly put on the mask and swung himself around the corner, watching as Phantom flew into the Fenton home.

"Cap, I'm going after him!" He called. Steve from below shouted something as he took off his jacket, His shield had been hiding underneath it. Spider-Man continued with the mission.

He was thankful that he had such a good memory, because there were a lot of windows. If he hadn't seen Phantom fly though he would have never found the right one. He stopped a few windows down and climbed up, only to see Phantom freaking out, shoving things under the bed and things in the closet before a bright light overtook the whole room and left...Danny?

Spider-Man easily opened the window and climbed through. Luckily Danny was too distracted to notice as Spidey slowly climbed onto the ceiling and watched as he hid his comic books and NASA ships and green bandages and weapons that kind of looked like they went with the thermos. Which he was hiding in his back pack.

"You should really make a system for this," Spidey said. Danny's head snapped up, surprised to see Spider-Man there.

"Spidey?" He asked in disbelief.

"And you're Phantom. Dude when were you going to tell us you were alive?"

"Shh, keep your voice down," he hissed. "My parents don't know, and if they id they would kill me! Again!"

"How about you give me some answers then?" Spider-Man dropped his voice to a harsh whisper as he lowered himself from the ceiling.

I'm only half ghost, dude. When the accident happened it fused ectoplasm with my DNA and I got these cool ghost powers."

"So you're just a kid? Not some immortal entity out to rule the world?" Spidey asked.

"Dude, seriously? No, I'm like, fifteen."

"Hey, me too!" Spidey said excitedly, momentarily forgetting that he was in costume. Danny narrowed his eyes, his head turning to the side.

"Peter?"

"Who's P-"

"-Then that makes Steve Captain America!" Danny's eyes grew big and his smile wide as he shoved his hed out the window, looking around before looking down, only to see Cap scaling his fucking wall. Oh, this was just too good.

"Dude!" He whispered to his childhood hero.

"Where's Phantom?" Steve asked. Spider-Man pointed to Danny, who actually looked a little sheepish.

"Hiya," he said. Steve gave Spider-Man a sort of look, silently asking for answers.

"He's only half ghost apparently," Spidey answered. "And fifteen. Not five hundred."

"You guys thought I was five hundred?"

"Well, if he's just a kid we don't need to be here anymore," Steve said, turning back to go through the window again.

"Wait-what?" Danny asked.

"You're just a kid, and you live all the way in Amity. We can't take you on missions," Steve said, half way out of the window.

"But if the world is in danger of another alien invasion you'll call me, right?"

"Goodbye, Danny," Steve said. He was -Man put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"We'll totally call you, dude." Danny grinned.

"Sweet."

How about a quick one shot about getting a flat tire (and its totally not cause I got a flat tire today and had to wait around for 4 hours for someone to come fix it for me. Not at all) Matt reajusted in his seat for the fifth time in the last 10 minutes. They had been in the back of this cab for two hours already and he was getting antsy. Foggy who was sitting beside him wasnt doing much better, and Matts constant wiggling around wasn't helping.Foggy leaned forward in his seat opening the partion in the cheap plastic partition in the cab. "Excuse me mr. Uhhh.." "Anatoly." The driver provided. "Right, Anatoly how mich longer doesnt the gps say?' Anatoly glanced at the gps, proped up on his radiator. "45 minutes.' "Thanks.' Foggy said falling back in his seat. Cursing his parents for moving out of the city. Matt groaned next to him. "Car sick?" Foggy asked hoping that wasnt the case. "Hey, he better not vomit in my car.' Anatoly said narrowing his eyes at Matt in the rearview mirror. "Im not going to throwup." Matt said grudgingly. "I just dont like driving so long." Anatoly watched him for a moment longer, still unsure before his eyes flicked back onto the road. Matt sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose. Just as he did, the cab drove over a bump, cauing Matt to fly a few inches off his seat and hit his head. Foggy cursed as the same thing happened to him. Antoly frowned. "That is not good." Toly muttered,listening to his car. "It was just a bump, no harm done." Foggy said before Matt could make a sarcastic comment. "No, I think... we have a flat.' Anatoly said pulling onto the side if the high way. "You have to be kidding me.' Matt deadpaned. "Is not problem, I have spare in trunk.' "Oh good, i'll help.' Foggy said. Anatoly nodded, turing the car off. Foggy moved to climb over Matt to get out so he didn't have to open the door into oncoming traffic. "What is happening?'
