hey, usersapphi! I hope everything is going well for you. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share how you created the gifs and images overlay effect in this /post/725848542271389696/rina-sawayama pretty set? Have a nice day.
hi! <3 of course I would be honoured to <3333
I did this gif set with Photoshop
beginner gif tutorials
for the first gif I used a clip from her 'comme des garçons' music video, and her logo which I found on google
For consistent colouring I duplicated the main layer and added gradient map with black+color
then I turned them into a group and I set the group in to lighten mode, then I (using edit -> free transform) moved the group which created these pink effect
then I copy pasted Rina Sawayama's logo from google into photoshop above the gif
then after selecting the parts I want with the tool seen above -> I copied the chosen parts -> deleted the layer -> pasted the previously copied logo -> (this is optional) I added (pink) drop shadow
2.
I have created two layers of different moments from the same interview, then I used the horizantal transform tool to create the mirror affect and I blended with hard light (I also deleted the background parts I did not like the look of by creating layer mask)
to make the pink I added a layer of pink, soft light, 47% oppacity
I added a rectangle with the settings below.
I once again copy paste an image I chose of hers (it helps if the image's background is a differant colour)
I once again choose the parts using the same tool
after that I (using free transform) put it in the place I want it to be
then I added a pink drop shadow ( I also noticed that there was still yellow left I used selective color to turn those yellow parts into pink)
this my first and imperfect tutorial, let me know if you want more detail to any of these <3 or if you have any further questions <3
