I actually came across a post S5 fic where TK didn’t quit his job - he was still working as a paramedic. I didn’t read it since I usually skip S5/kid fics, but it honestly felt so good to see someone give that part of TK back to him. It’s the only fic I’ve seen that did that. Sadly, Tumblr isn’t agreeing with me today and I lost the post, so I don’t remember who wrote it but it was really really nice to see.
