Ilia was exhausted. She had been running for so long. She couldn’t slow down, she couldn’t stop. If they caught her, she would never have another chance to escape.

After running for three days straight, she came to a city. Some exploring led to an abandoned building. Ilia snuck her way in, hoping she could get some rest before she kept moving. She didn’t know how far she had traveled, and right now she didn’t care. She closed the door behind her, moving a table to block it so she would know if anyone found her. Ilia set her backpack down, huddling on the floor in front of a couch as everything finally sunk in.

The only person who was ever kind to her was dead… gone… she would never have that warmth again, never see her smile again. If she was captured, that death would be for nothing.

Ilia’s breathing became ragged as tears stung her eyes. The couch, the table and other furniture starting to float as she broke down into sobs. Dr. Sung’s screams echoed in her head, “RUN”, followed only seconds later by multiple gunshots.

Soon, everything got quiet, and everything went black. Ilia had passed out. The furniture came crashing down, luckily missing her, but drawing attention to the abandoned building.

Danny's Verses: Escape

Jazz and Danny both get emancipated because of the borderline neglect from the Fentons, whether intentional or not. Afterwards they move out of Amity to get a fresh start to make Danny feels safer being himself, they have the blueprints for the Fenton portal and they build it with some alterations to make it safer. After they finish the new portal Danny goes back to disable the one his parents made for safety reason, also because he doesn't want the ghosts going into Amity Park when he's not there to make sure them and humans are okay during attacks. As far as he's aware of Jack and Maddie don't know about him being Phantom, and he doesn't exactly have any plans to tell them himself.

They both have a similar devotion to the people they love but again the difference is that Thistle starts overtsepping while Falin is self-effacing. The other difference between them is that people care about Falin <3 People have given up on Thistle long ago, and he has given people reasons to, while people refuse to give up on Falin. On the topic of "don't pre-order games! Wait until you know it's a finished product!"

Stop playing Early Access titles. Unless it's a "pre-order and play 3 days early" you're not accessing anything early. That's the state of the game in the now. That's what it is. You're paying full price for an unfinished product, with no promise it ever will be finished.

I'm so tired of seeing a new game "come out" and it's not finished, and I have two choices

Wait for it to actually be finished, perhaps over a year from now. Get hype for it. Watch other people have fun playing it. It comes out. I've lost interest in the meantime. It is now an "old" game despite just now coming out. It's old news. It was a flavor of the month last year

Or actually play Early Access. Do all the stuff there is to do. It's not much. Kind of boring. Frustrated that I'm locked out of so much content. Wait a few patch cycles for it to be "really good" and before I decide to come back to it because there's enough new content compared to when I played. That day never comes. The game is released. I only really remember that it was a percentage of being considered fun and it wasn't really that good, and I don't want to replay back through all the progress I've lost. I don't feel like playing on release.

EA is inherently a cash grab. Its either a death knell for a studio desperate to finish a project, or it's outsourced QA that pays the dev. It's not a fun little treat for all our devoted fans who really just want to help out the little guy.

They've turned "gamers don't want us releasing unfinished games" in their favor. They flipped it onto you where you're perfectly excited to be SOLD an unfinished game, on purpose, to your face.

All of this obviously with a grain of salt. BG3 clearly had a full game waiting in the wings you were just locked out of. Likely the same with Hades II right now. But take the time to consider if you're just burning yourself out on a game that you won't be able to come back and enjoy when it's actually done. Consider if it even seems like it will ever be done.

it's so telling and upsetting to me that the thing that sends mikey off at the end of fishes is lee saying something about how they all knew this was going to happen and now it's over, so it's fine. the thing that bugged me the whole episode was how many jokes everyone else made about donna--is she gunna do something crazy, you know how donna is!--vs how seriously the berzatto siblings were feeling and taking it. like when pete comes with the tuna and they're all laughing, except that carmy isn't. he isn't mad cause pete doesn't understand their traditions, he doesn't say: why would you do that on seven fishes? he says, why are you doing this to me? he says don't let her see it. the thing that is distressing to carmy isn't that pete is an outsider, but that he's not taking their mom seriously, and no one else is. people keep coming into the kitchen and stressing her out increasing the burden on them. donna isn't doing something psycho on christmas to them, she's hurting them. she's breaking their house. she's verbally abusing them. and it's not just a funny thing she does at holidays--this was their life, every day, there's no other family they go back to where they can relay the crazy things donna did this christmas. everyone will leave and they'd still be there. it's not over for them !!

i love how my brain just rotates between creepypastas like they're displays of a clothing store like liu and sully r a Constant but then u have the limited time item on display right and today it's toby. so. here r some messy toby thoughts that needed to escape my brain.

i think toby is the type of guy to put on a cool, indifferent front. he acts as if he doesn't care about anyone but himself. it keeps people away from him, which is exactly what he wants. so i just imagine him meeting you, who maybe without even realizing it, somehow slips past the numerous walls he had spent years building up.
