Thank you so much for your question about Ilyana. It makes my heart so happy when people show an interest in her.

I have a little story I’ve been working on for a while for her & Levi. It’s just never seen the light of day because I don’t have a lot of confidence in my writing/storytelling. So it’s been more of a project just for me. :’)

I’ll insert a few paragraphs of it here though just to give a little more insight about her (her background, her personality, etc) <3

Year 843: 

That day had finally come; the day that Ilyana Hoover dreaded every single day since her adopted brother, Bertolt, had told her that he wanted to become a warrior. Today was the day she watched him inherit the Colossal Titan.  She couldn't believe it, she didn't want to. Thirteen years. Thirteen years is all she had left with him. For years she had tried to talk him out of it. But here she is now. Watching him train for his upcoming mission in Paradis with the now Armored Titan and Female Titan. She's going with them on their mission. She had already decided that long ago; she told herself no matter what the outcome was today that she would be there for him. She knows her brother. He's emotional, sometimes weak, and anxious. No matter what role they decide to give her in the mission, she would do it, she would go. If only to protect him. 

"I really don't think you should come along, Ilyana. It's going to be dangerous. We don't know what these island devils are capable of. Stay here and look after mom. She needs you." He pleads with her that evening. 

"You're really lecturing me over it being dangerous? Bert, you're scared of your own shadow most of the time" She sighs. "If I don't go with you and something happens to you, I wouldn't be able to live with that. I already made up my mind. I don't trust Reiner to protect you, either. You and I both know how hot headed and emotional he can be at times. Mom will be just fine. She's got dad here to watch over her. You know he'd never let her roam the streets alone." 

He shakes his head and pinches the bridge of his nose. She's right. He knows she is; and he knows there's no convincing her otherwise. His sister has always been stubborn. A bit hot headed herself at times. He knows she just wants the best for him. She's always been protective of him. But he can't help but wish she'd believe in him, just this one time. He knows he can handle himself. He's been through the training, he knows what to expect; what he's getting himself into. 

Ilyana always knew she was different from the others of her kind. Born a Marleyan but adopted at a young age by an Eldian family; the Hoover family. They’d found her alone on the street one evening and decided to take her in; a few years later came Bertolt. She never knew her real parents, nor what had happened to them. Every Marleyan here was disgusted by the Eldians. She had watched her family be talked down to, pushed around and spit at walking down the streets. But growing up and living in an Eldian family made her feel much differently towards them. She had read the history books, heard all of the rumors; But she refused to believe they were all as bad as the people of Marley had made them out to be. She loved the Hoovers. They had always treated her like their own. The least she could do in return for everything they'd done for her is watch after their son, her brother; blood relation or not. She would protect him with her life.

TLDR: Ilyana Hoover is a Marleyan; she was adopted by the Hoovers at a young age. She’s extremely protective over her brother, Bertolt. She finds herself feeling super sympathetic towards all Eldians; including the ones on the island. Shes confident, not afraid to hold her own ground/speak up for herself; but can also be extremely hot headed & rash. (Which causes for some bickering with Levi later on in the story) she travels to the island with the Warriors as a spy.

I've been thinking about LEP uniforms again.

My personal design for the LEPrecon uniforms is a "fake" jumpsuit with trousers and jacket, with an additional vest on top, for combat missions. Wings either attach or are part of the vest. Tool belt, and vambraces that have their wrist computers. (Holly as Captain, Trouble as Major).

The Traffic uniform is brighter than normal LEP uniform for the sake of visibility and the vest has a screen on the front and back as officers on traffic duty are described as "walking road signs". The commander's uniform is blue, but otherwise the same as any other LEPrecon uniform. (Holly as Corporal, Trouble as Commander).

Tool belt includes: Moonbelt, gun holster, buzz baton, handcuffs + additional zipties, pheromone spray (read: pepper spray), ammo, omnitool, first aid kit, camouflage foil. Optionally knife and flashlight.

The uniforms have rank insignia as well as name tags. The ranks in the books are... weird, so far we have: Cadet, Private, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commandant, Captain, Major, Commodore, Wing Commander and Commander (roughly in that order). I've also given different acorn clusters to different ranks; from Private to Commandant one acorn, from Captain to Commodore cluster of two acorns, and for Wing Commander and Commander cluster of three acorns.

Clumsy Alpha

“James Buchanan Barnes, what have you done?” You stood at the entrance of the kitchen with your hands on your hips watching as Bucky dropped red sauce on his white dress shirt. “I just ironed that for you. We have to be ready to head to the gala in an hour.”

“I’m sorry ‘mega.” He pouts looking down at the ruined shirt. He was distracted reading the next book of a sci-fi series he was hooked on.

“And your arm! Shuri said you have to be careful with not getting stuff in between the plates.”

“It was an accident.”

“Take it off.”

“What?” Bucky looks at you wide eyed.

“Your shirt. Take it off or it’ll be ruined.” You hold your hand out for him to give you the shirt. “Steve, babe, can bring down the spare dress shirt I ironed.” You yell behind you before taking the shirt from Bucky so to at you could pretreat it. “Please clean up the mess while I deal with this.”

“Thanks, moonbeam.”

“You’re welcome my love. But no more foods with sauce on them.” You kiss his cheek and head out to the laundry room.

“Did I tell you how beautiful you look, Sunshine?” Sam kisses your cheek before pulling back and admiring you.

“Thank you, sweetie. You look quite handsome yourself.” You smile up at him before checking the time. “I’m going to get some water before we leave. Can you check on Steve and Bucky?”

“Of course.”

You head back to the kitchen and sigh when you open the dishwasher. “James!”

“Darling?” Bucky gives you an apologetic smile.

“Why is this here?”

“I wanted to give you a hand with the dishes?”

You stare at him for a moment before you giggle and shake your head.

“Put your arm back on, we have to go.”

“Right.” Bucky moves around you and as he grabs his arm he hits glass from the dishwasher, causing it to fall to the floor and brake. “Sorry.”

You kiss the top of his head. “What am I going to do with you my clumsy Alpha?”

I’d like to think that he’d build up in those two days from the paper cut lolol. These alphas can be a little clumsy because they’re distracted by their omega.

Trigger warnings: one punch is thrown, Bucky being clumsy

You heard a hiss of pain as you walked by the living room. Bucky was looking down at his finger.

“What’s wrong?”

“Paper cut. It’s no big deal.” Bucky says, giving you a smile.

“Let me kiss it better, Alpha.” You move around the coffee table and take his right hand. The cut was already healed so you press a kiss to each finger then his palm and finally his knuckles.

Bucky just smiles like a love sick fool before you walk away to continue doing what you were doing.

The next day Bucky was warming up something in the kitchen when he accidentally used his right hand to grab the pan out of the oven.

“Ow.” Bucky pulls his hand back and looks at it.

“What happened?” You pop up next to him.

“Burned my hand.”

“Let me kiss it better.” You take his hand and kiss his palm a few times. “Better?”

“Absolutely.”

“Good.” You say with a nod before walking away.

“Damn.” Bucky grits out while rubbing his elbow.

“Did you hit yourself?” You turn to look up at him.

“Yeah, why does getting hit on the elbow hurt so much.”

“Aw poor Alpha. Let me kiss it better.” You kiss his elbow and the. His cheek.

“Thanks Moonbeam.” Bucky smiles.

“You’re welcome my clumsy Alpha.”

Bucky smiles as you walk out of the room. Then he rushes to find Steve or Sam which leads him to the gym.

“Sam, Steve, one of you punch me in the face.”

Sam and Steve, who had been sparring, stop to look over at Bucky. They both have confused looks on their faces.

“We’re not going to punch you.”

“Speak for yourself, he ate all of the dessert Sunshine made yesterday.” Sam replies.

“Good use that anger and punch me really hard.”

“I’m not going to punch you babe.” Sam says with a shake of his head.

“Romanoff, punch me in the face.”

“You don’t have to tell me twice.” The red head walks up to Bucky and lands a hit right to the side of his mouth.

“Thanks.” Bucky says before running off.

Steve and Sam look at each other before going off to find Bucky.

“Oh my poor Alpha.” You cooed while sitting on Bucky’s lap with a bag of ice. “Is that better?”

“Buck what is going on-“ Steve stops in his tracks when he sees you straddling Bucky’s lap and fussing over him.

“Poor Bucky got hit in the face during training. I’m just icing his face.”

“Oh, ok.” Sam raises an eyebrow. “You know Buck, you can do that yourself.”

“It’s ok, I don’t mind doing it.” You reply with a smile. “He’s been hitting himself all week just so that I can give him some attention. Isn’t that right my love?”

Bucky goes completely crimson when he gets called out by you. You can only giggle in response.

“Let me kiss it better.” You murmur before placing a kiss just on the corner of his mouth.

“I think it would help him heal faster if he had more kisses.”

Both alphas sit on either side of Bucky and they both lean in to kiss his cheeks at the same time. Bucky is very red at all of the sudden attention but he can’t help preen under it too. The three of you cover his face in kisses until you’re all a giggling mess.
