I'm talking about the SB tapes where Vanessa seemed to be in a troubled home with a father named Bill. Bill is short for William. Clearly Afton used his own family story when with the therapists asked through Vanessa. There's also the FNaF movie which literally makes her an Afton at her current age. So, which is it? Something Evan/Gregory absolutely would 100% use on his older brother to prank him:

He invites Glamrock Freddy/Michael to play RL craft, tricking him into thinking it’s regular old Minecraft on the easiest difficulty.

Then the boy watches his older brother die in the game, again and again and again, getting one shot, laughing all the while at his misery and comforting him, offering to join the server with Michael on another device just to accompany him in multiplayer and help him through his suffering and frustration. Eventually they decide to stream themselves raging at the game and laughing out tears, chatting over Discord voice channels.

They sometimes speak Arabic to each other as well, with Michael/Glamrock Freddy having it be practically a second language and Evan/Gregory being noticeably fluent with Elizabeth having moderate knowledge (the Afton children are all mixed in my AU: whilst being primarily British American, they’re also of prominent Egyptian/Arab AND British/English heritage on William’s side and German/Scandinavian on their mother Eleanor’s side).

They welcome all the other Arabic speakers in chat warmly as well, and eventually Vanessa joins the server. They all suffer together as siblings :)!

Gregory as a Streamer (post 3-star ending!):

Gregory/Evan is a gentle and lonely soul who longs for companionship, yet he tries to keep this a secret from everyone. When he, Freddy and Vanessa escaped the Pizzaplex together and the siblings were reunited, they began living a relatively peaceful life- Gregory began to go to school again with the promise of actually being able to graduate fifth grade (“child” prodigy studying in university in the making), Vanessa went back to her job of being a beta tester/IT employee and would sometimes visit the Pizzaplex, and Freddy lived with the two of them in Vanessa’s apartment, with Vanessa acting as Gregory’s legal guardian.

It was too dangerous in the Pizzaplex due to the blatantly questionable architectural decisions made in the construction of the building, as well as massive safety issues. Even Gregory felt unsafe there during his night trapped inside, despite the overpowering and overwhelming feelings of nostalgia he would get for his past life as Evan inside.

Plus, nobody knew of their true identities- nobody ever could know of Gregory’s true nature and who he once was, and the purpose he was born to fulfill- imagine the attention the public would have on him! His family would be thrown into chaos, he’d be separated from his beloved siblings, his sweet Michael and Elizabeth! They meant the world to him, how can he let the world rip him from them like that? No. He wouldn’t let it happen- not EVER again.

So they keep a low profile, pretending to be ordinary and cleaning up their father’s business, dealing with the aftermath of their traumatic pasts together, living happy, comfortable lives together because everything was better together, and they were family- bonded by ties of blood and greater, somethings inexplicable and insurmountable that not even the universe could explain.

Eventually, however, Gregory grows bored of his routine- a first, given that he loves routines. He’s satisfied with his life providing comfort, safety, warmth and love, despite him having much to work through and recover. Despite some delusions, nightmares, intrusive obsessions and hallucinations of the dark past haunting him on some days, he is safe and happy, but bored. Bored in a healthy, encouraging way for what feels like the first time- as if something within him were gently but insistently prodding him to explore and venture forth, and satiate an unquenchable curiosity about the world.

Gregory is curious to discover new horizons and lead a healthy, normal and yet exciting and fulfilling life even more. Now with him, his older brother, and his younger sister all taking care of each other, he has more freedom to be able to explore and do what he wants. So what does he do with said freedom? Why, stream as a hobby, of course!

Although he’s a prodigy when it comes to networking and IT skills, he’s still very young (although not chronologically) and very much more socially uneducated than his siblings. He still relies on Freddy’s and Vanessa’s protection to ensure he is safe on any platform, regardless of the network. While Vanessa is at work, Freddy/Michael moderates him live and keeps the chat healthy and filtered (Gregory persuaded him to at least let PG-13 swears slide under the radar)- Michael/Freddy ensures that his little brother is exposed to constructive and/or positive comments only. He doesn’t tolerate disrespect, malintented sarcasm or trolling in the slightest.

Gregory doesn’t have many viewers, but those who do view his streams love him and donate to him. He tends to talk to his viewers often, and when not in blunt, plain sentences, sometimes in analogies and even giving them cryptic riddles to solve, which the chat scrambles and playfully banters with one another to solve. Gregory always heartily chuckles out of genuine joy upon seeing the positive chaos he has sown, and the chat always vibrates whenever Gregory is happy. The brunette doesn’t wish to admit it, but forming companionships with no misunderstandings, and creating deep and genuine connections by making people happy makes his heart soar with inexplicable joy in its purest form.

Even when Gregory DOES say something slightly out of pocket or misunderstands a social cue (which he does a lot), the chat never makes fun of him and instead scrambles to correct and educate him accordingly with positive, cordial and respectful ways of doing so! Everyone thinks he’s funny, sassy and witty, which in their opinion makes his content all the more entertaining.

Gregory enjoys the most games that challenge his skill in strategy and logical thinking, as well as healthy challenges. He also livestreams the sessions of his homebrew DND campaign with the Glamrock Gang and his siblings whenever he streams, so he also enjoys games with good, engaging stories and worldbuilding since he’s passionate about creative writing.

He enjoys discussing the characters, their stories, possible future events, and the causes behind past events in the story- he even optimizes his characters and plans out elaborate strategies with backup plans in case of failure or a wrong prediction to statistically maximize their output of damage and minimize playtime and hassle. He’s also definitely the gamer that makes the most theories, and he’s often famed for his theories being well done and right about 76% of the time, basically. The games that do have an engaging story is something he makes countless headcanons and theories out of, and they end up becoming just one of his many, MANY special interests.

Sweet little Gregory doesn’t have any friends to collaborate with, and that does make him just a little bit lonely and reminds him of his past, where he had few friends except for Cassidy and the other thinning bonds between his childhood friends (MCI children). For some time, he remains oblivious to the fact that said potential friends have to get past Freddy and Vanessa.

Gregory has a Glamrock Freddy plushie that he cradles and hugs close to his chest whenever he talks to his viewers. Whenever he streams, he likes to wear loose, baggy clothing.

Gregory’s room has a perfect atmosphere that’s pleasing to look at, with visible bookshelves, some of his favorite flowers, and glow-in-the-dark neon lights and signboards on the wall in addition to fairy lights- he likes 80’s punk and vaporwave aesthetics (similar to the Pizzaplex’s aesthetics), so he has white bookshelves filled with his favorite books as well as flowerpots of blue hydrangeas, yellow roses and white lilies. His bed is full of plushies, mostly Fazbear Entertainment merchandise. There are also many butterfly decorations strung around the walls that glow in the dark, as well as many balloons and birthday-themed decorations, which makes the atmosphere cozy and nostalgic for him.

The Glamrocks and Fazbear Entertainment Employees even sometimes watch Gregory's streams! They always comment that they're hilarious and engaging to watch, and the riddles/analogies are always fun to solve! Some even give donations!

I have MANY questions, I'll start with these: When it comes to Gregory/Evan going feral mode to protect his siblings from danger, what is that like? Does his appearance change? What's his mental state during his protection mode? How did his siblings react when they saw this for the very first time? It seems like it must have been a shock for them to see what was previously timid lil Evan going apeshitt on a potential threat.

There are little things in this world that truly make Gregory mad despite how easily outwardly irked he can become at the slightest inconvenience- yet when he snaps, he SNAPS. Usually he uses strategy and brute force to solve his problems, but there are few occasions where he is truly enraged.

When he does go utterly berserk, his eyes have glowing red dots in the areas where pupils are supposed to be, and the illusion disc/small circular LED on his temple begins to heat up and violently oscillate between negative emotions, flashing between orange and red. His body activates what can only be described as similar to a fight-or-flight response, only this it’s the state where he defends himself and what he deems to be of paramount importance at ALL costs.

Evan/Gregory’s mindset is fully conscious and aware of what he’s doing in this state overcome by cold blooded, violent and cruel anger, but even then he’s susceptible to losing himself to that same draconic, defensive fury he exacts upon those who wish him and those he loves harm.

And yes, Freddy/Michael and Vanessa/Elizabeth/Vanny were utterly shocked and gobsmacked at how their sweet little brother suddenly snapped so furiously- especially at the first time they witnessed it. Evan/Gregory’s rage and emotions can take on many, unpredictable forms, and everyone had acknowledged collectively on that day- even the tiniest, most beautiful butterfly can be fatally venomous.

Thank you so much, nonnie! I saw lot of potential in their unspecified and otherwise vague relationship in canon, and wanted to make their family dysfunctional with an abusive father and a once loving and supportive mother growing more distant each day from grief. They once loved each other, but grief and pain tore everything from them and this tore them apart.

Evan was left with a fogged mind and broken, lonely heart as he was reborn into a new body, Michael was left with little to no hope for the future, and Elizabeth never felt the pride or companionship of anyone despite all she had done.

Them learning how to love both each other and themselves, and learning to forgive and move on when all hope is lost is a valuable lesson to keep in mind to them, when their situation feels despondent.

Neurodivergent Elizabeth Headcanons! (Part 2/3)

Elizabeth absolutely LOVES to stim, most often by playing with her hair. She has naturally extremely curly hair that she loves to tug on and twirl around her fingers- the texture of her curls soothes her, and when she’s particularly stressed she tends to stroke and twirl her hair rapidly and relentlessly. She also loves to wear soft skirts and dresses for the purpose of twirling and spinning around in them.

Pigtaaaails~ Elizabeth loves pigtails for the sole purpose of stimming with them- literally this girl loves just twirling her hair so damn much.

Other stims include flapping and flailing her hands (and sometimes her entire body) excitedly, twiddling with her thumbs, scribbling down in paper and stomping! Whenever she gets REALLY excited she basically has no filter and can’t read social cues at all- she starts giggling, stimming aggressively, and speaks really excitedly and fast and in a passionate, loud tone of voice with both no filter and no volume control.

Exercise great caution when mentioning her hyperfixations and special interests with her around- she will JUMP at the occasion to ramble and infodump for several minutes on an excitement-fueled tangent about said interests.

Elizabeth when she was younger tended to mimic some of both William and Evan’s behavioral tendencies and mannerisms- William’s consciously, Evan’s subconsciously. It was basically just like how when Evan was an infant, he idolized and dearly loved Michael and wanted to be just like him, looking up to him and mimicking a number of Michael’s mannerisms (it’s the reason why one of the traits all three siblings share is a fiery temper and deep, strong and intense emotions).

Elizabeth is incredibly impulsive, although this is involuntary because she’s essentially dopamine starved. She’s extremely picky with her food and seeks out sweets (specifically ice cream being her safe food) just for a rush of dopamine that she gets from eating them. Whenever she gets stressed or emotional, or has an emotional meltdown or sensory overload, ice cream and gentle arm and/or back massages (while talking her down in a warm tone of voice) is a great way to soothe her.

Circus Baby is a MAJOR hyperfixation for her. That’s it that’s the headcanon. Also ice cream and French fries? Literally her safefoods.

Both her and Evan have terrible motor skills. One time she walked into a room to see Evan in literal hysterics trying and miserably struggling to make an origami butterfly for Michael’s birthday present and she never related so hard to her other older brother than in that moment.

Just like Evan, she is very touch sensitive and picky about what clothes she wears. Oftentimes she spends way too long browsing clothes because for the clothes she would wear, they had a terribly itchy texture.

Velvet. Holy sHIT velvet. Where do I begin to explain how much Elizabeth hates touching velvet? It’s just. No. Ew. No offense to any ND’s who actually like velvet, but for her it’s just terrible on all sorts of levels. It’s staticky, it feels icky, it’s WAY too soft and fuzzy to the point where you get static shocks, and it makes you sweat a horrendously uncontrollable amount if it’s in clothing. 

One time Elizabeth had to wear a velvet and silk (holy sHIT silk) dress to a special event and she was just. Itching. The whole goddamn time. She couldn’t concentrate on ANYTHING because it was literally SUCH sensory hell. The very MOMENT she got home she practically RIPPED OFF the dress and just. Flapped. Just, y’know- FLAILED her ENTIRE BODY WHILST LAYING ON HER BED, FLOPPING LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER until the Bad Texture™ went away.

Unclear instructions are the bane of her existence, and so is task initiation. “Get the thing from there.” Bitch what thing from where?? There’s a million ‘things’ and there’s a million more ‘there’s’.

Elizabeth’s short term memory is terrible to the point of being basically unreliable, and might as well be swiss cheese given how many holes it has. Whether certain bits of information can go into her long-term memory or not is a gamble all the time that she has to constantly make. The WORST part of it is FEELING herself forgetting- she could just be doing a random task, a thought could appear, and she’ll FEEL the information slip from her mind’s grasp almost on a physical level.

Elizabeth also gets understimulated incredibly easily without stimming, comfort foods, hyperfixations, an environment of optimal stimulation level, or anything of the sort. However, overstimulation is just as bad for her. But when she’s understimulated, she gets incredibly distracted by the prospect of dopamine, resulting in recklessness and impulsivity (not thinking things through and heavy insistence on sticking to plans she’s already made in order to earn that burst of short-term gratification and pleasure, similar to Evan except he by contrast voluntarily follows through with the plans he makes strictly).

Oh, and did I mention that this girl has literally no volume control? And is atrociously horrific at organizing due to time blindness? She also chronically loses items of hers due to a gaping lack of object permanence.

Executive dysfunction and procrastination go brrrr~ sometimes she wants to get started on a task, but her brain literally outright refuses. Oh, and long-term goals? She WILL cry- she had to do an activity in kindergarten one day when everyone wanted to set long-term goals, but her brain literally just lagged and malfunctioned like a broken computer when she tried to think of ideas whilst her neurotypical peers were so sure of what they wanted to achieve in life. William told her when she complained to him that the other children were just wholesale making stuff up, but she didn’t quite buy it- something else was going on.

Being incredibly eager to please her father as well as her superiors (but especially William), and getting incredibly disheartened and depressed and anxious of failure to the point where she feels like one screw-up could send her whole life spiraling down into the point of no hope nor return? My girl. My bestie. Have you heard of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria? It’s the WORST.

Especially during her life as Vanessa her RSD worsens greatly- so do her ADHD symptoms, further causing her anxiety and making her spiral even more. Yeah, having an abusive parental figure in her life spelt doom for her self-esteem and self image since the beginning.

There could be pLENTY of food to eat in the fridge and she would just. Not eat anything. Because there’s none of her comfort food and all the food is food she’s supposed to cook first (blegh).

However, whenever executive dysfunction isn’t beating her up, she’s actually very good at cooking! She settles for recipes that don’t require an elongated attention span because she could leave the rice cooking and suddenly the entire kitchen is in flames the moment she looks away for what she perceives to be about a minute.
