ok so here a long post to talk about my recent DF experiences with 47.04 and God Summoning proper. Going to place this under a Read me for timeline sake

to keep it short : Elf and Goblin God end up stumbling into means of manipulating Dwarf fortress even more and gain Royalty.

Galka and Alino’s adventures were pretty much a series of magical new discoveries in DF tampering that started with the Summoning of Galka. Galka is a Deity. A Deity of Dreams, Night and Darkness from Dwarf fortress worldgen that I pluck and shoved into a DFhack spawn in Dwarf body, usually I done this before countless times but on this event I figure why not go a step further and connect the Dwarf’s nemesis data to Galka on top of the aligning the historical figure stuff to the selected God so I could just control them in adventure mode proper, so far so good.

2ish weeks in-game pass and Alino was assign to follow around Dwarf-Galka but when Galka unretired I noticed that Galka had a new look. They pretty much transform between 2 weeks from the Dwarf to their historical figure description of themselves. Now I wonder what happen to the Dwarf since there should still be a historical figure of them existing in the game save...since all I swap out was historical figure ids on their unit body and tampered with their nemesis Galka pretty much has a completely different soul than what the Dwarf had so that’s gone also.

Galka either sculpted and warped the Dwarven vessel into this Goblin(ok technically Galka is a Weblin deity but a Weblin is just a Goblin that can spit webs and heal folks)  form it doesn’t also help their description for the body has them at EXTREMELY long amethyst hair, ash gray skin and red eyes so now the project was set, unique looking deity and their Worshiping Elf Companion/Adventurer party member who goes around and spread the word to others about Galka since it’s alot harder to convert folks to you by yourself when that only happens when they greet you and not the other way around. The first art of Alino was of Galka gifting items and making small talk.

the journey of spreading faith of Galka continue up to the discovery of adventure mode dialog menu, and that npcs share the same menu as you do... and that this discovery came from Galka being a God in mortal flesh they tend to not answer back automatically which led to said discovery when I notice a human bard Named Tode asking Galka about joining them but due to what I said earlier they couldn’t answer back. which led to testing if Alino could get asked out. that led to the picture of Alino hanging around the bard Tode and technically the first art of Galka ever made (the one seen is a revamp).

in this picture I swap between Galka and Alino alot probably easier to tell which character I was in control by which one of the two isn’t petting the unicorns, so I swap to Galka up until the Rejection which then I swap to Alino.

to explain these two pictures well they were testing the new discovery sadly I learn I couldn’t transfer any of the positions to Galka... also walk into a slaughter of Raw Green Glass Angels Known as Art’s ‘Beings’ and decided best not to stick around after getting Alino to Law-Giver status.

Flash forward a couple more tests later and Alino is now Queen of some Mountainhome and the realization that this can be done in vanilla and not entirely due to Galka being a god not answering back, I decided to stop right there as I hit a point where I probably could draw a comic off this concept alone.

when I first saw this I legit figured oh I got this elf engaged to this King but I got to the second half of the sentence and realize it the king was stepping down.

and so I leave this with Alino’s Description and their success and emotional trauma.

Oh yeah the game session was entity modded with a few creature mods toss in... to a Deon Genesis Remake mod that I swap out the raws to my mostly vanillaish files but didn’t change the graphics back.

(Y/n) laughed with her friends as they wandered around Santa Monica Pier, when they decided to go buy some water, the guy in front turns around to leave only to accidentally bump into (Y/n).

“Sorry,” Daniel says, his eyes displayed concern that he might’ve hurt the person

“I believe they’re all idiots then, you’re obviously an angel,” Daniel says, (Y/n)’s friends could clearly see Daniel was flirting with her, but if (Y/n) could sense it, they didn’t have a clue, but they kept quiet and stepped around the two to buy something to drink as they watched the two interact. “My name’s Daniel, but everyone calls me Dan or Danny.”

“I’m (Y/n).” (Y/n) says smiling up at him, she brought her hand up to her hair and softly started playing with her tips.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Daniel says, a wide charming smile on his lips.

“It’s nice to meet you as well.” (Y/n) says, Daniel glances past (Y/n) and saw his friends in the background waiting for him, he needed to get back to his friends, but he wanted to get to know (Y/n) more.

“So, we’re going to the club later on, would you like to join us?” Daniel asks. “Because I would love to get to know you more.”

“We’d love.” (Y/n) says, she would love to, she didn’t know if her friends would like to go or not. “Where?”

“West End,” Daniel says, (Y/n) nods her head.

“All right, we’ll meet you there.”

(Y/n) along with her friends arrived at the club later that night, Daniel stood by the bar as his friends ordered their drinks, he glances towards the blue entrance and saw (Y/n) entering the club with her friends, her smooth but thick lustrous black hair along with her glowing tanned skin caught his attention, he excused himself from his friends and made his way towards her.

“Hey, glad to see that you made it,” Daniel says.

“Well, I did say that we’d come.” (Y/n) says.

“Let me buy you a drink,” Daniel says, he leads her to the bar. “What would you like to drink?”

“Piña Colada.” (Y/n) answers him, Daniel gained the bartender’s attention.

“One piña colada.” Daniel orders, the bartender nods their heads and begins working on the drink, he looks back at (Y/n) smiling down at her. “So, do you live here in Cali?”

“All my life.” (Y/n) says. “You, however, don’t sound like you’re from around here.”

“No, no, I’m not,” Daniel says. “I’m from Australia.”

“Australia.” (Y/n) says. “Well, what brings you all the way here?”

“I’ve always loved California,” Daniel says. “It’s always so nice a sunny.” The bartender places the drink down on the bar in front of (Y/n). “I just really love it here.”

“So for how long are you here?” (Y/n) asks as she picked up her drink, she takes a sip from it before placing it back down on the bar.

“For another couple of weeks,” Daniel says. “Then I’m heading back home.”

“Well, that sounds like a shame.” (Y/n) says. “It doesn’t give us as much time to spend together, now does it?”

“It’s unfortunate, yes, and that’s exactly why I invited you tonight,” Daniel says. “If I’m going to stay in touch with you, I’m going to need your phone number.” (Y/n) nods her head. “So, I’m going to convince you tonight to give me your phone number.”

“Oh? And how do you think it’s going?” (Y/n) asks.

“Well, I think that I’m off to a very slow start at the moment. “ Daniel says. “I haven’t impressed you enough just yet.”  (Y/n) softly giggles.

“No, not yet, but I think you’re doing good so far.” (Y/n) says, Daniel looks into her eyes.

“Well, I have all night.”
