This year has been full of time spent pushing myself to do more. I have composed for films, tv, and worked with so many great artists. I did an album with @stsisgold ( #betteronasunday ), and went on tour at the top of 2018. My album Braving was my final project this year and I couldn’t be happier with what I’ve accomplished. This video is from a show I did opening for @vatoben at the @moroccanlounge playing with my good friend @davecohenmusic. As this year closes, I feel emboldened to do even more in 2019. Not just by myself but collaborating with others will be a priority — @luca.erozer let’s go!!!! (more info next year lol) What’s next, new challenges & opportunities, is what I’ve always been about. I know it will be just as hard to accomplish new goals moving forward, but I’m really seeing the beauty of my inner struggles reconciling with the external promoted expectations. Keeping that inner vs. outer balance in check is my only expectation for myself throughout the upcoming year. “Love and Fear” is what I call it on my album, and it’s the perfect way for me to continue on this journey. Thank you to everyone that has had a hand in my success and sanity. They’re still influencing my songwriting because even after two decades, literally ALL of their music sounds fresh! I have been a fan of and seeing @incubusofficial live for the better part of 17 years. I stumbled upon them at such a pivotal time in my adolescence and the love I have for their music, melodies, lyrics, and overall presence has been unwavering into my adulthood. Dozens of concerts attended in these 17 years but tonight's show was maybe the best live performance by them I have ever experienced. Touring behind a new album, they still threw in old hits, some not so known tracks and maybe even one heard for the first time live tonight while still performing the new stuff. This concert was everything I never knew I needed tonight. My weekend was filled with @adultswim @rickandmorty !! @rickmobile was a cool concept but I'll be honest was not ran well. Hire me next time! I have tour experience #adultswim was cool seeing the homies @c_lowlow @rocks4lunch and @brokethemc out and about! Then to catch @theroots and as @vatoben says "The Pillar of Time" @questlove was amazing As he lead the band. Bruh!! @blackthought is the reason why I became a rapper! Top 5 easily!! I was surprised when @jeremyellislive came out and also did a live beat seat!! 😱😤 after all that I then showed up to support @chosenwanapparel for their VIP birthday party and ended up performing for him and my city #Vacaville had that place rocking with @iamslammin holding me down as DJ!
