I was going to return this boba kit because the boba themselves and the black tea powder taste very chemically and weird. (The powder is far more potent) but since I can't find the receipt, it's staying.

I saved the second attempt by using a strawberry milk recipe and English breakfast tea. The first try only use like maybe a teaspoon of the black powder mix with some mango flavored green tea and guava/hibiscus LaCroix. it wasn't very good.

I think the tea was too weak to really contribute much of a flavor here but the lakanto brown sugar alternative and agave syrup definitely made this a pleasantly sweet drink.
