Egg!Velvet! I have a whole ass headcanons/separate AU about how Egg took Velvet's body so bear with me, alright?

First of all, the Egg itself has 2 forms: its Egg form(that we saw all the time in canon) and its "human" form, which isn't actually a human form, but about this later.

The Egg form has minimum power(mind-control and passive vines usage) but max defense (it's almost impossible to destroy it as in canon). Its human form is the complete opposite, it has max power but min defense, making it much easier to kill(basically as an average player with 1 life). The Egg was in its max defense form when c!Bad found it as I theorized that it was already defeated( almost). Sort of like clown Pennywise, it went into egg form to heal itself and then proceeded to take over as much as possible.

Now, after the Red Banquet, the Egg had enough energy to go into its second form, but the catch is that it needed a body to do so. Why the Egg didn't take any random body? Well, to say simply it wanted to fucked up the minds of its subjects even more, and what is better for this, than to use the body of their long-lost friend and boyfriend of one of its most loyal subjects after c!Bad? So, with c!Ponk's help(he is the only doctor around here) they prepared the body of c!Velvet for its own usage.

Now, after The Egg took over the Velvet's body its power transform it but not too much, as it still wanted to play with the minds of the Eggpire. Velvet's hair used to be red and fluffy, the Egg made it white and used gel to make it rougher (?). Velvet used to wear more casual clothes, the Egg wears more official like.

In anyway The Egg is still the Egg, but it's a little tough to believe it when it has the face of your friend. Though, I have a funny idea, how after long usage of Velvet's body the Egg started to have feelings(bleh) and be softer to the Eggpire members. Sort of like, it gives them a day off but then like "wtf why would I do that"

I have 2 possible outcomes for this AU( I decided this is the AU now). The angsty one, where despite every soft motion towards Eggpire, it is still the Egg, it still does not care about anyone but itself and after it is defeated all that is left is the dead body of their friend, forever changed by the will of the parasite.

Or the nicer one, that involves c!Velvet making a deal with Lady Death(Kristin), slowly taking back control of his own body, epic battle within the mind, and then a long recovery for members of Eggpire and now very alive Velvet, who also has a tiny bit of Eggs power

But that is another story.

Ok maybe I’m just out of touch but what’s wrong with being a velvetfrost shipper? Genuinely curious, I thought they were dating? Do they not like fanart or is this person just an obsessively weird fanartist?

absolutely nothing! I phrased it incredibly wrong in the tags, my mistake

I was trying to point out that the person was shitting on dream for liking fanart of him kissing another boy. or making jokes about dating men. while they are (or at least were) a very active member of a community centered around two boys that are dating. and kissing on camera. and making jokes about their sex life. which is all perfectly okay! (and something that I actively watch on a regular basis) but Of Course it's bad when dream does it

it's another case of "make it make sense, dear drantis" - they preach how two men kissing is softcore pornography yet their mains are doing that all the time, on top of which they are some of dream's closest friends.

okay so i got high and i've decided to RANK my top five favorite fics i've written. now, i'm very curious about this because often the favorites from me that people have written are nowhere near the top for me, so hmu in my askbox or whatever to compare ranks. anyway here we go

NUMBER FIVE - throw me back (when i can't be found)

probably the shortest thing on the list and the only one of these that doesnt include some fanciful ideas of mine. i generally dont write canon compliant fics, but i think this one has my heart for including a lot of very dramatic and fancy lines and also it perfectly reminds me exactly of my infatuation with the badlands and how fucking tragic they are at the moment

FOUR - did you think i could

dytic wasn't supposed to exist. it's a sequel written by sober me to a fic high me birthed fully formed in a single day. it's very fun to pick up those pieces and try to form another side to a character everyone loved from the first one, however dytic's entire story and setting was basically chosen for me by someone else (high me) so that makes it slightly less enjoyable

THREE - broken mirrors, bleeding hands (i wish you'd just leave)

bmbh was originally a one chapter lil vent fic by me w a few random ideas in my head that i scribbled on a notebook in my college classes. someone finding it a few months later and making fanart kind of kickstarted the whole thing and made me actually view it as a story worth continuing. it is also my fave finished fic of mine, which ranks it very high as it has a lot of the lovely ideas i rly enjoy having came up with (river scene; punz summoning xd in his kitchin; etc)

TWO - hallowed devourer

probably should be number one but for some reason it is not. hallowed devourer is my baby my joy my monster my self indulgent fic using such a classic me concept. hallowed devourer...such a fucking weird fic, written between sundays at catholic churches and my own wavering faith and late night road trips. i think the satisfaction of having finished it and finally wrapping up punz's little tragedy might skyrocket it to the first rank when i finally finish that last chapter, but until then its:

ONE - mania

what the fuck are you doing here, mania. dumbass. basically a dyfil 2.0 but to a lesser degree, because i took too many edibles and somewhere in day two of being high i sat down and drawled out one third of a very strange velvetfrost au involving drunken rituals and parties and graveyards and dead men who want to be alive and also a very interesting nightclub. i think mania might...it will probably be one of my favorites because it, more than any of my stories, i think has a story worth telling. i write a lot of very fatalistic stories. mania is supposed to fix that.
