So a friend of mine who is a 19th Century Living Historian like myself, asked me to fix a couple of clothing items, one needed a pewter button for the brasses, a cotton shirt needed the sleeves shortening, and his animal hide shirt/jacket had a huge rip in the under arm so I unstitched the lining and re stitched by hand the shirt/jacket and it’s as good as new. Decided to do a throw back to various costumes, uniforms and suit builds I’ve made over the years. I’ve loved every one of them from the designing phase to the completed items. I was reading the book of Exodus and in Chapter 5 verse 1 it has Moses saying to Ramses II “… Let my people go…” and it made me think of @zelenskiy_official repeatedly saying to Putin, Let my people go. History seems to repeat itself.
