Quick question. What would happen if someone came up on one of dipper's old graves and decided to resurrect him during one of his reincarnations? Would his soul leave the current vessel and get sucked back into the old one, or would his corpse just be filled with a whole lotta nothing?
That's an excellent question!
My first impulse is to say that resurrecting Dipper's old body wouldn't have an effect. Whoever did it would end up with a zombie, or the shell of a body with nothing in it.
My second impulse is: What if Dipper did get sucked out of his current body, and popped right back into his old one? Now you've got one very confused Dipper, and one extremely distressed demon who just saw the love of his life get his soul sucked out, going limp and dead right in front of his eye!
Overall, I guess it depends on exactly what kind of resurrection was pulled off. A body alone type thing will get you no brain or soul to go with it, but if it specifically targeted the soul itself? Then you better have enough oomph behind it to yank it out of someone who's currently alive.

The yearly grind
For me, the final step in the laborious process of taking a deer from field to table is grinding day.
After cutting and packing the main cuts - roasts, steaks, etc. - I generally end up with 8 or 10 pounds of odds and ends. These I grind into burger. Because venison is so lean, I add one strip of bacon to every pound of venison, just to give it a llttle sizzle and stick-to-itiveness.
I package it into one-pound vacuum-sealed bags before freezing. It’s great for chili, tacos, spaghetti, etc.

Hello again! I'm the one that wanted to know if you wanted to learn how to do American burgers! Hopefully this answers your question. I can only answer for the region in which I live, but I do think at least one of these loose patty recipes should give you something close to what you are looking for.
Okay, enough rambling, American burgers.
The states are huge. We’ve got a lot of backgrounds and different sort of food cultures we’re working with and so even within a fast food chains, no two of anything are the same. That includes burgers.
There major ways I see it beef patty burgers made around here are:
1: Add egg and breadcrumbs. The breadcrumbs provide seasoning and help make your meat go further, while the eggs act as a good binding agent the are and keep your patty from falling apart. This is very helpful if you wish to do THICKER patties.
2: Worcestershire sauce. Just add worcestershire sauce to taste. Nothing else. Honestly, this is what I do most often.
3: Brown sugar: Just add brown sugar, to taste. It gives a nice complex flavor and works especially nicely if you are making a spicier burger.
4: Add another meat. I’ve personally added deer. However, I’ve seen people add pork, specifically bacon. I wouldn’t try any birds, fish, or reptiles, but anything with hooves is a go. Again- this is a very ‘what do you have on hand’ iteration of the recipe but instead of breadcrumbs and eggs, it’s more meat.
You can absolutely mix and match these methods. I've done venison, bacon, and beef with brown sugar. Very 'ah shit this is freezer-burned to hell what do I do with it?' kinda recipe. Works beautifully if you want to make a burger that will have a spicy element to it, like spicy mayo or hot peppers.
The last thing I’m gonna say is gonna be really weird and I apologize, but really basic food here in the states tastes different than it does abroad. I point specifically to chocolate and butter as my examples. And that’s a thing you don’t think would be different, I know. Like, chocolate is chocolate, butter is butter. I don’t know what to tell you… American chocolate and butter is shit compared to everyone else’s. I have no doubt in my mind the meat is also different just because of how it is raised, prepped, and packaged.
Also, cheese is hella different and I don’t know why. A lot of people here use something called ‘American Cheese’ (Pasteurized Process American Cheese). It’s… there is no cheese taste I’ve found like it. It’s weird. I love it. I don’t think you’re gonna find it outside of the states. It is, however, the most commonly used cheese here in the US. I have no idea what you could replace that would to get a similar taste. I do apologize that I have insufficient data for a meaningful answer on this one.
Last thing- I’m sure you know this- it’s also true when making a BLT or any meat-based sandwich: take your bread and toast it on the surface where you just cooked your meat. It’ll soak up some of the juices and make it extra good. Also really mixes well with mayo and other condiments.
Other than that… lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. Usually, a dill or butter pickle is what is used for the quintessential shown-in-the-cartoon US Burger. I couldn’t tell you what type of tomato they use, but whatever it is, don’t bother. Fast food tomatoes in burgers are ass. Do the diner method and go with what is available/what is flavorful and you should be okay. Lettuce- romaine is usually what I find being used.
…I hope this is what you were looking for. I think I went WAY overboard if I did hit the mark XD Anyway, may this provide the results you seek! Best of luck!
THANK YOU!! I definitely try this out, I honestly had no idea about brown sugar and worcestershire sauce being used :) I think I can try locate american cheese but butter and meat will probs have to be australian hahaha

yesterday my doc gave me a list of foods to avoid (for inflammation-related reasons, not for weird arbitrary dieting reasons) and on it is just like.... Every Single Food i've already stopped eating over the past ~3 years bc it makes me Feel Bad. there ain't a single food on that list that i eat regularly nowadays. on one hand it's nice to know that there's medical backing behind my "oof ouch my chronic pain" instincts but on the other hand. CUUUUREEEE MEEEEE.....

Sliders (Venison Goat Cheese, Black Bean Burger)(shared). Flyway Brewing. North Little Rock, Arkansas. 4.21.2023.
NOTE TO SELF: The black bean burger was dry as hell, but the venison goat cheese was decent. Instead of sliders, I wish they had full-size burgers with decent sides.
Currently ranked 11th of 18 April meals.

VENISON SAUSAGE
We use a lot of venison to fill our freezers and the cellar. This year is not any different except for the fact that I usually still have some in the cellar and in 2023 every jar was gone. The last two deer were small and perfect for making our sausage. We bagged only fifteen bags of it and now I wish we had done more. This year we did four canners of it, made four dozen bags of venison mixed…
