A veces solo quisiera que aún estuvieras ahí, al menos observando como cada día voy más lejos, como reescribo mis propios límites y venzo todos mis miedos. En el fondo siempre deseé convertirme en esa persona que un día te hiciera sentir orgullosa de mí.

da igual por la mañana o por la tarde.

La cuestión es deleitarme con él,

relamerme con su adictivo sabor...

Mi lengua es afortunada de poder saborear semejante elixir y de sentir ese calor genuino bañando mis papilas gustativas...

Cuando se precipita por mi garganta siento que pasa a ser parte de mi,

me siento un privilegiado de poder beber semejante producto natural que se genera de las emociones más puras y de oscuras intenciones...

Ese primer trago, esa primera sensación produce un subidón de mi energía, de mi ego y mis ganas de más y más...

Toco con la mano el recipiente en el que me gustaría introducirme,

la calidez que siento me reconforta y me incita.

Acerco mi boca con parsimonia,

el aroma puro me embriaga,

lo inhalo con devoción mientras venzo mis párpados poco a poco...

Ese primer contacto con mis labios,

ese primer sorbo,

esa primera sensación en la rugosidad de mi lengua...

¿Acaso no son estos pequeños momentos, estos nimios gestos y esos ligeros detalles los provocan placeres mayores?

Luego nos tomamos un café ¿no?

No me escapo de las cosas, no borro números ni fotos, ni siquiera doy un ban, y no me escapo de las canciones y los recuerdos que voy teniendo. Me trato con confrontación, miro la foto cien veces hasta que se vuelve normal, me duele mil veces hasta que lo supero, escucho la canción hasta que la venzo y deja de vencerme, mando a la persona volverse normal.

So this is in reference to some of the weirder irregularities in verbs.

There are many weird irregularities especially in present tense. They’re very important especially the yo form - because the yo form is how you conjugate present subjunctive

Quick example: irregular verb decir turns to digo “I say” in present tense... this affects subjunctive; diga, digas, diga, digan, digamos

As for the other ones I mentioned - this is mostly in reference to verbs that have irregularities but aren’t always “irregular” the way ser or ir might be

It’s usually for the sake of phonetics or spelling, but some are real curveballs. I mention them as verbs that are minor categories of assorted weird ones, much less dramatic than the stem-changing verbs but still important

My examples were distinguir, prohibir, vencer, argüir, asir, reír, huir, and fingir as less talked about weird ones [but don’t worry about argüir or asir]

distinguir “to distinguish” is mostly regular but in present tense yo it's distingo but it’s otherwise regular 

prohibir “to prohibit” takes an accent mark in its conjugations for the most part like reunir or continuar but it's unexpected to have to write prohíbo; though I get it, it's to keep the O and I sounds distinct. I will say I have seen it conjugated without the accent mark, it’s not technically correct, but it’s there

vencer “to vanquish” or said of things like warranties it means “to run out/expire”; but in present tense yo it’s venzo which throws people off (me. I’m people.) In general verbs ending in -cir or -cer tend to go to -zco... like conducir to conduzco or conocer to conozco. 

However, a handful of verbs like that go to -zo instead... primarily vencer, convencer “to convince”, and sometimes useful in specific contexts is fruncir where it’s normally “to pull together” or “to gather/draw together”... in sewing or tailoring it means “to gather fabric”. 

BUT the main use of fruncir in common Spanish is fruncir el ceño “to furrow one’s brows”. If you read a lot of first person fiction or fanfiction, you see a lot of frunzo el ceño “I furrow my brow”

As for argüir which is mostly legalese and situational as “to contend” or “to make an argument”, it’s arguyo. In regular Spanish, you’re going to say things like opino “I am of the opinion”, or creo “I believe”, or pienso “I think”. If it has to be more formal or a stance you usually see afirmar “to claim”, aseguar “to claim/affirm”, or more formally argumentar “to argue / to make an argument”

asir you never use. It’s obsolete but it means “to grab” or “to seize”, and it’s a -go verb; that’s how I came across it with it being asgo but no one has ever used it around me. Honestly I think if I said it people might think I said asco “disgust”

Now, reír “to laugh”, sonreír “to smile” and freír “to fry” are E=>I verbs, but to keep the I sound they take accent marks

It’s because IO is a diphthong and comes out as yo. To make sure you know it’s a verb conjugation and keep the I stressed it’s río, sonrío, frío etc.

(Not to confuse frío “I fry” with frío “cold”)

huir is an odd but expected case. Rather than have you write “huo” which would sound odd in Spanish it’s huyo, huyes, huye, huyen, huimos.

fingir is finjo, finges, finge, fingen, fingimos

This one makes sense phonetically; GI and GE have a sort of H sound, and to preserve that they change it to finjo. It’s basically regular; but to make sure you’re having that H sound instead of a hard G sound of “fingo”, they make it finjo

This happens with most -gir or -ger verbs... exigir “to demand/exact” for yo form is exijo, and proteger “to protect” turns to protejo in the yo form

Spanish is an extremely regular language in its spelling and pronunciation. It goes out of its way to make the letters match the phonemes/sounds, sometimes at the confusion of people learning, but it does really help standardize expected pronunciation... mostly

There are many verbs that change spellings in certain tenses to preserve the right sound

Estar cubiertos por la sangre del Cordero equivale principalmente a tener puesta la coraza de justicia. La justicia está en la sangre, y la cubierta de la sangre es la coraza. Aunque es difícil explicar esto doctrinalmente, podemos entenderlo en la experiencia. Cada vez que nos proponemos luchar contra los poderes de las tinieblas, Satanás, mediante sus acusaciones, hace que nuestra conciencia se vuelva muy sensible. Sin embargo, estos sentimientos en realidad no provienen de una consciencia sensible, sino de las acusaciones de Satanás. Cuando nos suceda esto, de inmediato debemos declarar: Yo venzo a Satanás, el acusador, no por mi perfección, ni tampoco por tener una conciencia libre de ofensa, sino por la sangre del Cordero. La coraza de justicia me defiende de toda acusación.

La justicia que cubre nuestra conciencia y que nos protege de las acusaciones de Satanás es el propio Cristo; Él mismo es nuestra justicia. Por tanto, Cristo es la verdad que ciñe nuestros lomos y también la coraza de justicia que cubre nuestra conciencia. No estamos cubiertos por nuestra propia justicia, sino por el Cristo que es nuestra justicia. Tal vez algunos se pregunten cómo la coraza de justicia puede estar relacionada con Cristo y también con la sangre. En la experiencia, no podemos separar a Cristo de la sangre, pues sin Su sangre, Cristo no podría cubrirnos. Cuando nosotros somos purificados por Su sangre, Él llega a ser nuestra justicia. Cada vez que estamos a punto de participar en la batalla espiritual, debemos orar: Señor, cúbreme contigo mismo como mi justicia; Señor, me resguardo bajo Tu sangre. Además, debemos decirle al acusador: Satanás, no te venzo por mis méritos, sino por la sangre prevaleciente del Cordero.

Bit of story about Venzo and those skulls

He is a highly skilled professional assassin/hitman, having claimed countless lives throughout his career. He believes himself to be devoid of emotion, but in reality, he is merely running from it. The skulls that haunt him represent those whose lives he has taken—watching him silently, while he remains unflinching. His cold, detached demeanor is his way of punishing himself, convincing himself that he cannot afford to feel. If he does, the weight of his actions might crush him. Yet, it is precisely because of his unmatched skill and reputation spreading across Night City that Caesar was able to find him.

What are those roses and withered roses mean?

Yusei is my friend’s OC the reason I put half life, half withered roses is bc Yusei has a complicated life in which he suffers from being bullied and lived in horrors, yet he still hate violence and still sets his goal to make his Pacifica dream. In which I see he turn wither to life. (It doesn’t mean he’s not suffering anymore, he still has depression and loneliness that hunts him each day, so I make the roses looks like blood pouring)

What about the cane in between Yusei and the roses?

Welp…Venzo is actually the one holding that cane, can’t really see it from that angle, but that means he got the power to absolutely dominate Yusei in bed. *Cough* I mean…the total control he has over his life as a professional assassin/hitman, but also a hint that he might need someone or something to hold on to amidst his struggles.
