Can I ask a question that's a bit of a non-sequitur? And ofc you're under no obligation to answer this (/gen), but I was wondering: what are some little things that you find really affirm your specific gender as a sissy male? For me, as a dyke man, I find that--though it involves a long waiting time--letting my hair grow /long/ and then shearing it all off makes me feel like such a butch. I also love getting to work on the car when it involves plopping down and really getting in there with the engine. I'd love to hear about your little 'oh, wait, this feels so /right/' moments!

I really like combining frilly pink stuff with otherwise looking masculine. It's nice to put that contrast out there, for people to see someone who looks like me dressing like a prissy little faggot and to think of me that way is very gender affirming. I like to project power while putting myself through elaborate costuming and rituals that would normally be considered disempowering. Prissy faggots who wear little pink dresses aren't supposed to also talk about how much they want to manhandle women in a wrestling ring, you see what I mean?

I also combine a lot of mutually exclusive ideas in kink. I would love to hear why East Richmond exists

Firstly: apologies it took me a couple of days to reply to this ask. I needed the time to untangle my complicated feelings toward East Richmond's existence.

One of the primary justifications that can be made for East Richmond's existence is simple: the early bird gets the worm. East Richmond was built in 1860, preceding Burnley's opening by 20 years. The route 70 tram down Swan Street hadn't been created yet either, and wouldn't be for several more decades. The real question, of course, is why it continues to exist, especially given how much rail infrastructure has disappeared over the years. This is a little bit more speculative on my part.

In the 1960s, the track between East Richmond and Burnley was quadrupled with the creation of an express track in both the inbound and outbound directions. Both stations are provisioned with infrastructure which allows for trains to leave the express track and continue their journeys via the non-express track. This means the section of track between Richmond and Camberwell is one of the few places in the metropolitan train network where express trains are actually express (i.e., capable of overtaking each other during ordinary train operations). Theoretically, other lines have junctions where some of the same capability should exist (holding a stopping all stations service on one platform so the express train can run ahead of it) but as the same infrastructure hasn't been built, there is no effective way to build a timetable that makes better use of the functionality.

It is also worth noting that prevailing wisdom suggests that it is always preferred to hold a train at a platform as customers tend to get antsy about being stuck on a stationary train that they can't get off 🥲.

Long story short, East Richmond station (and more importantly, the points/turnouts that have been grandfathered in because of it) has allowed for better timetable capacity for trains travelling through to Camberwell and Glen Waverley. At this point it would probably cost more money to get rid of it than to let it be, so East Richmond lives on to fight another day! I am also lead to believe it has surprisingly good patronage numbers given its relative lack of actual services.

As I concluded in my TG post, Billy’s denial implied one of three possible conclusions: 1) There was indeed a significant financial settlement between Benjamin and Billy, and Billy is lying; 2) There was indeed a significant financial settlement between Benjamin and Billy, and Billy is using deceptive language to avoid technically telling a lie (such as saying no money was “paid” when money was still owed at the time of Benjamin’s death); 3) There was a concerted effort by Billy and/or those close to him to spread false information that there was a financial settlement when there was not. To be clear, Billy Mitchell is an unflinching liar. At the time of that writing, I still considered possibilities 1 or 2 to be the most likely. However, the third option was intriguing. Was Billy Mitchell going around spreading false bravado of how badly he had humiliated Apollo? Or even worse, was he deliberately planting misinformation, hoping honest journalists like myself might take the bait and repeat these reports in a way his lawyers could find actionable?

Just a personal opinion, but I think if you're reporting dogshit, unsubstantiated rumours as fact, you're not an honest journalist, you're a glorified TMZ reporter.

The King’s youngest son, 40, sought to challenge the original decision by High Court judge Sir Peter Lane in February last year, which determined that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) was right to remove his high-level police protection while he's in the UK. But in a ruling on Friday, Sir Geoffrey Vos, Lord Justice Bean and Lord Justice Edis dismissed Harry's appeal. Sir Geoffrey Vos summarised the decision and told the court that while the Duke of Sussex's personal arguments were both "powerful and moving", he concluded that: "I could not say that the Duke's sense of grievance translated into a legal argument for the challenge to Ravec's decision."

After last month’s hearing he said it was the one which “always mattered the most” amid his myriad of legal challenges.

That was evident from his appearance at the Court of Appeal during which he followed the proceedings intently with the help of his lawyer, Jenny Afia.

I was sitting a few rows behind him and at one point he threw his pen down in frustration during the Home Office’s arguments.

He was visibly animated during the two-day hearing and later said that what was heard in the private session confirmed his “worst fears”.

Today’s judgement means that the rift between him and his family is growing ever wider as Harry argues that his family is no longer safe when visiting the UK.

What happens next depends on whether Harry decides to try to take this to another appeal at the Supreme Court.

If he does, he would have to prove that the law in the case raises a point of general public importance.

As it stands, Harry’s security is determined on a case-by-case basis every time he comes to Britain - which the judge has ruled is entirely "sensible" given his circumstances.

For the Duke of Sussex, he has said the case has been overwhelming, and the evidence he has heard has been "difficult to swallow".

The financial cost is also due to be crippling - with Harry now facing paying costs for both sides, estimated to be up to £1.5 million.
