And now he's dying a ghost's death, unless they help. Unless they can get into contact with the afterlife where ghosts go to help him properly form (and become potentially more terrifying after.)

Death, the Unknown

death: name one thing your muse has lost that they wish they could get back

he would say his mother, but if she returned at this point in his life he’d be too ashamed to show his face. he knows he’s gone down a path that would disappoint her, and he doesn’t want to think about facing her as he is now. in reality, he wishes he could get back his childhood - the things he missed out on by his mothers untimely death.

maybe he would’ve turned out to be a better person. and maybe he would also be cooped up at VEXCORE. there’s pros and cons to every situation.

the unknown: is your muse a philosophical person?

shiroki’s outlook is mostly nihilist, an “everything sucks and we’re all gonna die so why bother” sort of thing. it’s pretty defeatist, even he knows that, but it’s not something he can really change.

If you had to judge your muse and sentence them to a “fair” fate, what would your judgement be? Would you punish them? Reward them? How? / How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?

in a legal system, shiroki deserves punishment. at his rate, if he ever got caught he'd likely get the death penalty. but i'm not a legal system, and i'm not a black and white judge of character. his mothers death and fathers neglect eventually lead him to where he is today, so if his past were different - softer, kinder, the past he feels he deserved - he might not be this way. he's a victim of circumstance, but as much as i pity him and wish he deserved better, i know he doesn't.

under my judgement, and under the canon timeline, shiroki's fate would be the one he dreads the most - taking responsibility over VEXCORE. it doesn't seem like much of a punishment, inheriting such a company, but it's the absolute last thing he wants to do. it would force him to give up his bloodstained lifestyle, force him to re-evaluate some priorities, shock like ripping off a bandaid or jumping full-body into a cold lake.

How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?

shiroki is... aloof. he's not very sociable or easy to talk to so unless you initiate the conversation you might be met with a lot of silence, but trust me, he's listening. he's more of the observant type, you know? kinda prefers to keep himself closed off unless he knows you well. actually, y'know, i don't think i've ever seen him open up to someone before... good luck, eh?

[shiroki had eventually figured that everybody from the island previous was still here. in fact, the island itself was still here - it was just his world that was different. it was a little odd to see strangers wandering his home, his own personal apocalypse, the hellview spirale had crafted just for him, but... whatever. he didn’t really care what other people were doing - he just needed to get to the VEXCORE building at any cost.]

that’s technically gonna happen once masao kicks the bucket anyways. and i’ve planned to rework the entirety of VEXCORE once i get my hands on it.

so... i guess that’s what i’d do. but my dad would have to be out of the picture first.
