I kinda hate the vic3 flavor(less) text because it literally says nothing about anything ever. You could have a popup delaying a law for propertied women OR a law for monarchism and both will have the same nonsense paragraph next to it like "gentlemen, there is a time and place for lawful debate, and it is neither the time nor the place on a day so much better suited to merrymaking" its definitely not AI gen or anything, its just clearly they didn't make enough DIFFERENT ones, so they have to be generic enough to be used for everything and it honestly would be better off removed entirely

victoria 3's economic and internal political gameplay is so good but its diplomacy is inexplicably the worst a paradox game has ever been. just widlly ill-conceived and full of problems they already solved in other games

in the vic3 subreddit I saw someone post a screenshot of an apparent bug where they had a building taking several thousand dollars in subsidies despite being profitable enough to be self-sufficient and someone else said "wow, the economic system is so good that it's simulating tax fraud"

the vic3 update is pretty good, the game definitely has more political depth now, especially for minor powers

they should make a grand strategy video game that's good. vic3 comes close w&r comes closer we just need to Merge The two. and then make it online built into the Tumblr browser. defeat my units in battle if you wanna block me. Bitch
