My photos from major work shoot with Stephen A'Court arrived just in time to reflect on my year. The past year has been a (challenging) blast. Super busy at times, but always fun, and I had the chance to work on so many great projects. Original design Disney meets Warcraft by LiberLibelula

Memento Mori
Full range line-up of my designs for my end of year project at Uni. To start we did a word association exercise and then pulled 3 or those words out of a bag to use as our concept, my words were Victorian, Hourglass, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. From there I brainstormed further and pulled out the concept of Death and the awareness of Mortality, as the Victorian's had an obsession with death and the hourglass is often related to the Grim Reaper. From the Sci-Fi/Fantasy I looked at warrior women and took some detailing from the armour. Some of the pieces are more androgynous then my normal, as Death doesn't care if you are a male or female; and I used the sheer chiffon to demonstrate the mysteriousness of Death, as no-one truly knows what happens. ------- All designs © Tamara Mills

Victoria Dustrael
This is a more finalised version of my OC, Victoria Douglas. She has Multiple Personalities, where each personality belongs to a different era. Her real name is Victoria Douglas, but each personality goes by a different variation of this, to suit the era. In her modern-day personality, she goes by Tori Douglas and is a fairly normal girl of 22, who is into the alternative and Goth scene. Vickii D is her retro, Rockabilly personality from the fifties, and Victoria Dustrael is a young Victorian lady of the upper middle class. I’ve still got to work out some of the more specific details and backstories of each ‘character’. This version of Victoria is a bit more Neo-Victorian punk and stylised then her normal. ———-

Elwynrind
She has a (kinda lame) back-story as to why she's so dark looking but still saves the world. Something to do with her being a demon/reaper, but she falls in love with a human, who is then brutally murdered, so, because she has to drain human souls to live, kinda vampire styles, she spends her time tracking down murderers and bringing them the death they have brought upon innocents. She lives in a post-apocalyptic Victorian world. Her design is loosely based on the concept art from World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. She is wearing a deep blue Corset, with bone rib-cage armour, deep green skirt, which is pulled up with (very) large rubies, which have feathers and beads dangling from them, an asymmetric pig-skin leather underskirt with fishing net? which has a skull caught in it, with more feathers and beads. She is also supposed to carry a lantern. ------- All designs © Tamara Mills
