Hi everyone! Hope your holidays went well! Work was very busy so there was little time for down time, but my sister got me this awesome game for the Switch called RPG Maker MV! And I absolutely love it! It's a more polished version of what I had on my iPad that I was tinkering around on. And this version doesn't require wifi till I upload the game or play other people's games so I can bring it anywhere with me! I absolutely love this game. Hi everyone! Just a quick update! I have been working on #rpgmakermv on my fantasy game called (for now) "The Staff of Bijou Ami". I have gotten to making the second location on my map finally. So now I have not only my map, but my character's starting location and the second location he will need to visit. I'm basing this game off of my 2019 Nanowrimo novel that I was working on. And I have been having a lot of fun with this 😊. This has also shown me just how much time goes into making a game. While I knew it was a lot, this has truly shown me how much work goes into it, and through RPG Maker MV, I don't even have to make the sprites, which I can imagine adds on even more time! I'm not very artistic, so this works great for me. I have always wanted to get into the video game industry and create scripts for video games, so this is a great starting point for me.
