Jared did a similar video (without the SB part, of course). He also told them to train hard. It’s probably a mantra they have.

It is indeed a mantra but my issue was fully with the subtext in Jensen's delivery.

Here's a mini acting lesson: You can say something like "I hate you" in many ways and based on the subtext the meaning changes completely. For example, a couple in love and he proposes and she reacts by saying "i hate you" but what she means is I love you. "I hate you" towards a friend who you admire because she is all that has a completely different meaning behind it than an "I hate you" towards someone who cruelly destroyed your life. It's all in the subtext and actors know and use this efficiently on and off set. So, when I listen, I don't just take the words at their basic value, I go deeper and listen for the intention behind that line, the subtext, what that person is actually saying and what they are trying to achieve with those words.

I could tell you "I love you" because I mean it or because i want to get you to say it back or because I want your approval desperately or because I am being sarcastic and I hate your guts, based on the emotions and the message behind my words you will perceive what I mean exactly. This obviously only applies to verbal dialogue as written word is very hard to interpret without deeply knowing the person who wrote the message and the context.

My point is, that may have been a mantra but the message behind it was just offputting. For my tastes, at least. This is just my perception, of course.
