I called this painting "winging it" cus wow, the process of painting this was so chaotic that I'm not even going to share the speed paint this time. Seriously i had no clue what i was doing for 80% of this painting, but hey, its pretty?

Hmmmmm Viktor. Haven’t drawn him for a long time.

One day I had a vision of Viktor playing with magic right before I fell asleep so I tried to make it work. I spent a whole day trying to make it work but I couldn’t. And then the next day I heard a song and the whole layout showed up in my head. Then I had a walk and saw someone wearing a jacket that was similar to the idea in my head.

Oh man, respectfully, this painting kicked my butt but it was so worth it, super happy with how it came out. The amount of times my drawing program crashed is INSANE, especially toward the end. I lost most of the footage of the sketch because the program itself records but here is what has been salvaged, this took me about 8 hours so seeing it all pressed down into 1 min is so cool to me:

After watching arcane 7-8ish months ago and learning the lore for Viktor, I thought it would be fun to draw a concept for what Viktor might look like in season 2, since every character looks kinda different in league than in the tv show. I had a lot of fun with it, but then it started becoming more detailed than I had originally planned, which made it make more time, so I started working on it on and off over the last 7ish months, and as i worked my skill got higher and so did my standards, so long story short this is probably the longest I’ve ever worked on a project.

There are still some things that feel off to me, but at this point it I’ve looked at this image for so long that my brain turns to mush when I start working on it so I figured that I probably just gotta stop now. Overall I’m just happy it’s done, and pretty proud at how cool it’s turned out :]
