A introduction to bloody broadcast / rosecest

Greetings freaks and weirdos (/aff) i just wanted to write the basics about these two down so please enjoy

( CONTENT WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING: incest, yandere themes, abusive relationships, age gap/grooming, religion, child death, generally just a lot of messed up stuff. You’ve been warned)

So what is rosecest? Well it’s the ship name for my hazbin hotel oc Percy and alastor. As soon as my friend Lyra (@lunarbroadcast) introduced me to hazbin I KNEW I had to make a ship for it, and here’s the results!

Here’s some basic info on Percy before I get into the ship itself

About Percy <3

Full name: Percy Maxwell Henderson

Age: 12 (biologically)

Birth/death date: October 31 1933 to February 14 1945

Cause of death: suicide by knife

Species: sinner demon (eldrich doll)

Gender: transmasc/transgender boy (any)

Orientation: Demiromantic/ demisexual gay

Friends: alastor, husk, niffty, Rosie, Lyra

Personality: timid, shy, sadistic, unnerving, loner, fascinated by anything dark

Background: The only life Percy knew was in these same four walls, he lived and died in this orphanage, never getting to meet his birth parents. Percy was always a troublesome child, never listening to his caretakers, always managing to get his hands on books no “righteous and proper child of the Lord” should be reading. The local Sisters responsible for running the orphanage always knew there was something wrong with Percy, and his strange behaviors were noticed by the other children as well. Most avoided the strange boy or whispered horrible things about how he was a “demon child” who they didn’t DARE interact with. That was except for one other boy, Theodore (or Theo as he preferred). Theo was one of the older kids still in the orphanage, and the only one to humor the lonesome Percy. The two boy were incredibly close, two peas in a pod, you would think they were attached at the hip with how much they were together. It went in like this for years, Percy only growing stranger as he aged, but at least he had Theo to keep him in from going too far off course. That was until a potential parent came by…

(He grew up in a catholic orphanage in the south, not having any friends other than a boy a few years older than him. Once Percy hit puberty he immediately grew obsessed with his only friend, eventually confessing his feelings on Valentine’s Day, the boy didn’t feel the same and Percy just snapped, going on a rampage and slaughtering and cannibalizing his fellow orphans and the staff before taking his own life)

Ohhh boy where to start with these two… a good summery of their dynamic is this

Basically they’re just The Worst(tm) most in hell just assume they’re father and son (and they aren’t necessarily wrong) but their relationship goes far beyond anything that could be seen as innocent, Alastor did groom Percy to be his partner in crime (and the bedroom) after all. They just keep up the wholesome father and son facade because well..it’s easier then explaining (and Percy loves calling alastor daddy or father a lot) even within the hazbin hotel their true relationship is kept a very closely guarded secret, only husk know the true nature of their relationship. Not to mention the outrage if anyone found out the true reason Percy has a rose where his left eye should’ve been, but that’s a story for another day (or now if a anon wants to ask about it)

Basically they’re a yan 4 yan relationship with HEAVY ddlb/cgl energy, they can and will kill for each other and to keep their secret safe. Uhhh what else…oh I consider them a incest ship even if they’re not technically related at all, mostly because they call each other father/son so much and alastor has basically adopted Percy at this point.

Villain f/o's that try so hard to come off as scary and tough but you find everything they say to be cute>>>>

For those of you with F/O's with very dangerous enemies...

Imagine absolutely wrecking the enemy when they put your f/o in danger.

Imagine the enemy underestimating you. Assuming from how soft and kind you act around your f/o that you aren't powerful in your own right.

Now imagine proving them so, so wrong.

If your s/I is a magic user, imagine doing something like forcing the enemy on their knees, imagine them swinging a weapon at you and when you catch it the weapon begins to melt like molten iron in your hand.

If your s/I can go toe to toe, imagine absolutely whipping the enemy's ass. Imagine it hardly even being a fight as you move so gracefully, so quick, and so assuredly that they can barely keep track of you until they feel your knee pressed against their neck and their arm pinned painfully behind their back.

Or maybe magic, and combat isn't your s/i's thing, maybe you out smart them. The enemy not realizing that all that time spent with your f/o helped you to collect bits and pieces of information on them in your mind.

Where is their weakness? What would send them crumbling down? Maybe their followers are starting to lose faith in them and you know just the rock to throw to send their empire tumbling down.

Perhaps you know how full of themselves they are, and know that they would never turn down a challenge. Saying smoothly, "Ooo, you defeated f/o when they were tied up and beaten, so courageous! Oh!? Do you hear that? It's all of the b-level villains clapping!" Then laughing in their face.

Just as easy as waving a red flag to a bull and they lash out at you. With their attention on you it might give your f/o time to get out of their binds and turn the tides. But then again...maybe they didn't need too when through a combination of your knowledge of the environment, the enemy, and the laws of their world you incapassitate the enemy after a short struggle and then rush back to your f/o.

And as if it never happened your cold exterior melts away as you embrace them in your arms. You caress their cheek, carefully scanning their body to assess their wounds.

Imagine that your f/o cant help but giggle a little at how fast you went from badass to back to their kind lover in what felt like an instant.

"Sooo, we just gonna pretend you didn't just get really scary for a second?" They say with a coy smile to which you roll your eyes and tease them,

"Well someone needed to save your dumbass."
