warm morning light filters through the window as you start to stir from sleep. blinking awake, you take in vinnie’s still-dozing form next to you, chest rising and falling steadily. a lazy smile tugs at your lips as memories of christmas day surface - exchanging gifts by the tree, vinnie presenting you with the vintage polaroid camera you’d been eyeing for months.

your fingers itch to try it out as you take in vinnie’s handsome, relaxed features. his curls falls gently over his eyes, lashes fluttering lightly in dreams. you just have to capture this moment.

carefully slipping out of the bed so as not to disturb him, you retrieve the camera from your dresser. climbing back onto the mattress, you slowly straddle vinnie’s lap, holding the camera up to frame the shot. but as you go to press the button, vinnie stirs from underneath you with a sleepy hum.

“good morning, sleepyhead,” you greet him softly, brushing his hair back tenderly. vinnie blinks up at you, taking a moment to focus before smiling drowsily. “morning, baby. what’re you up to?” he rumbles, voice husky from sleep. you lift the camera briefly.

“just wanna get some shots of you while you’re all cozy. is that okay?” you ask sweetly. vinnie chuckles, stretching below you like a contented cat. “you sure know how to wake a guy up. go ahead, beautiful, do your thing.”

grinning, you angle the camera down to capture your view—vinnie gazing up at you adoringly with sleepy eyes and bedhead, arms folded casually behind his head. when it prints, vinnie peeks at the square photo emerging.

“not bad for a first shot,” he notes appreciatively. thrilled, you take a few more pictures from above; vinnie flashing lazy smiles and smug smirks, winking playfully in one. after the third print develops, you line them up on the nightstand with care.

“thank you for being my early morning muse, babe,” you coo, planting a kiss on his scruffy cheek. vinnie hums contentedly, large hands drifting up your bare thighs.

“no problem at all. i think i deserve some morning cuddles now though,” he rumbles cheekily, strong arms wrapping around your waist to flip your positions. vinnie cages you below him, nuzzling your neck. sighing happily, you thread fingers through his messy curls as he trails kisses along your collarbones.

“thank you again for the camera, vinnie. i love it,” you murmur gratefully. vinnie lifts his head, dark eyes glittering warmly. “only the best for my girl. i’m glad you’re getting use out of it already. feel free to photograph me whenever you please,” he teases playfully.

you laugh softly, tracing his defined jaw. “oh i plan to document all your cuddly, sleepy phases. might have to start an album,” you muse. vinnie pretends to groan, burying his face back in your neck. “i think i’ve created a monster,” he mumbles into your skin, making you giggle.

arching into his body heat, you exhaled sharply. “your handy work. now do these morning cuddles include kissing?” you inquire jokingly. vinnie chuckles, hovering over you with a playful smirk. “well, i suppose i could spare some kisses for my favorite girl,” he drawls, dipping in to capture your lips warmly.

you hum happily into the tender kiss, hands sliding up vinnie’s bare back. he holds your face gently between his large palms, slowly deepening the embrace with quiet reverence. you lose track of time drifting peacefully in vinnie’s arms, exchanging sweet caresses and kisses under the golden morning light.

when you finally break for air, vinnie gazes down at you with so much adoration it takes your breath away. brushing back your tousled hair, he presses a lingering kiss to your forehead. “i love you so much, baby. thanks for starting my day off right,” he murmurs against your skin.

beaming, you squeeze vinnie tightly against you. “i love you too, babe. thanks for making every morning with you a gift.” he smiles lovingly, pulling the blankets up cocoon-style to envelope you both protectively. your polaroid camera sits on the nightstand, ready to continue documenting all your cozy mornings together. and with vinnie’s strong, comforting embrace all around you, you drift back to a peaceful doze with eyes full of promise for sweet tomorrows yet to come.

First of all, vinnie would definitely wear a hoodie to cover up most of his tattoos, trying to save your parents first impression of him

He brought flowers for your mom :)

Your mom called them “interesting” and threw them away when he wasn’t looking :(

he’d be too scared to kiss you in front of them, greeting you with a small “hey, beautiful” and kissing your hand

Your dad complimenting his hand tattoos, making him regret wearing a hoodie :(

Your mom made lasagna for dinner

Vinnie compliments how good it tastes before he even finishes the first bite

Your dad asks vinnie what his interests are, and he replies with, “well, i really like your daughter”

After the laughter dies down, he answers the question seriously, bringing up how he’s been picking up on bass guitar

Your mom shakes her head as your father gets all excited and goes on about how he played bass in his high school band

The boys talk about music for the rest of the meal, all while you watch vinnie in admiration:)

He holds your hand as soon as he’s done eating:)

The conversation dies down, so you suggest playing a game of uno

You all sit in on the living room floor and crack jokes as you play an hour-long game of uno

i downloaded tumblr 25th of december 2023 after seeing sturnfilmed's tiktok story, i instantly started writing fics as soon as i joined (my debut was chris and matt headcannons) i started watching the sturniolo's in early 2023 and my fav triplet is nick although i would pay matt to run me over.

i live in new-zealand, my favorite color is pink and i go to a private school. i love concerts, music and my friends. i have criiiiipppling anxiety which i've had since like 10 years old buts its okay, i also have a pretty bad eating disorder cause i grew up a fatass but we don't talk abt that. i have an older sister.

i have brown curly hair which i straighten and green eyes and relatively big lip, i'm a very social person and i'd say i'm quite popular which makes school quite a safe place for me i have strict parents so i'm really good at lying, and sneaking around behind their backs. i used to be like kinda off the rails when my mum got sick and i was doing illegal stuff to distract myself but i got caught and stopped (glad) and now my life is back on track and i have a lot better things to do, my rice purity score is 72😔

If I may, I headcanon that when Vinnie is anxious about something happening to him, he instead focuses on you and making sure your taking care of (this is based on what I do). Like before the fight he just dotes on you like crazy, and you try to care for him back since it's him that will be fighting, and this builds into you two having a care off. I might have thought about this for an hour straight when I woke up in the middle of the night.

a.n. this is the first headcannon i've ever written! you anons keep getting me to try new things, i love it! i hope this is okay though. i honestly feel like did it wrong. i really don't know much about writing head cannons other than that its with bullet points, so i really hope this is what you wanted. <3

until vinnie met you he didn't really know how to handle his anxiety, something he struggled with quite a bit. especially now with him being in the limelight so much.

although you gave him various techniques to help with when we was feeling that way, he tended to ignore them and instead focus all of his attention on you.

one thing about vinnie is he extremely caring, and is with everyone close to him. with you, he was no different. in fact, some might say he was probably a little over caring about his precious y/n.

he always made sure you were drinking enough water, had something to eat, reminded you to take your supplements/medications, etc., etc., etc.

he did everything he could to make sure you were okay and comfortable

and that didn't change when he too was feeling anxious

his logic was that if you were okay, he would be okay.

every time you were out together, whether it was with just a few friends or a larger event, he was constantly checking in on you even when he was the one feeling particularly anxious. 

“are you thirsty? do you need anything to drink?”

“are you cold? do you want my jacket? or i can ask them to turn the heat up for you.”

“whenever you want to leave just tell me, okay?”

even when the internet was attacking him for some made up rumor that surfaced, he would be more concerned for your wellbeing than his own.

he would scroll through your comment section on every platform, search your name on twitter. anything to make sure no hate was going towards you.

you would try to tell him that he's the one that needs to be off social media and to take a break but he had to make sure no one had a bad thing to say about his baby first

and when the fight came along, forget about it. its like he forgot he was the one that was fighting, not you.

throughout the months of training he would always be texting and calling you to make sure you weren't missing a meal, staying hydrated enough, and not overworking yourself. 

“did you get enough sleep last night baby, you look tired?”

“take a break from work lovie. i don't want you to stress yourself out”

when you tried to say the same things back he would ignore you and go right back to asking how you were doing

on the actual day of the fight he was going crazy making sure you were okay

he needed you by his side or at least in his sight at all times

and when he couldn’t be with you, he assigned one of his security guards to not leave your side

it was honestly frustrating you because this was his day and you wanted to finally repay him for all he does for you by being especially caring for him

it was to the point where you were trying to top one another with how caring you could be

vinnie would hand you a bottle of water to drink, you would tell him to take some deep breaths to calm his nerves

he would make you eat a granola bar when he heard your stomach growling, you would repeat positive affirmations for him to remember 

it went on like this for the rest of the day until the fight was over. 

but you didn't mind it as much as you made it seem. at the end of the day you knew it was all because he loved you 

you meant so much to him and he never let you forget it.
