💙Taylor Swift - @taylorswift💙
October 24, 2006
The debut album that started it all. I’ll never forget when I first heard “He said the way my blue eyes shined put those Georgia stars to shame that night, I said ‘that’s a lie’”. Taylor had a country twang and a dream - to capture what she was going through in an album. “Taylor Swift” would have gone down in history, even if Taylor had stopped making music right there. It is a complete body of country/pop mastery. It reached number 1 on the Billboard US Top Country Albums and number 5 on the Billboard US 200, call that legendary 😌.
The tracks that altered my brain chemistry include Tim McGraw, Cold As You, Tied Together with a Smile, Mary’s Song (Oh My My My) and Invisible 😭
Collaborators: Nathan Chapman, Liz Rose
If you guys can’t tell, I am SO excited for #TheErasTour 🤭 My goal is to hopefully have a post for each era by the time opening night rolls around on the 17th 🫣 Wish me luck! 💙

we as a society have lost our culture when we let VHS tapes die. and now they're killing DVDs. is the physical not sacred anymore?
