something that's very near and dear to my heart is headcanoning virgil as autistic. not to get too personal but it makes me happy to see a portrayal of someone who is autistic And very anxious and those things aren't mutually exclusive (unlike what people told me before i got diagnosed lol)

This is a response to my girlfriend, @adventurecrimez's submission. (My character is Maylice's "adoptive" father.)

A man approaches you suddenly while you are alone. He suddenly takes out a loaded crossbow and points it directly at your head.

"Hello Virgil. I heard my daughter stopped by here for some event you have going on. I just wanted to let you know that if she ends up going out with you."

He takes a dramatic pause.

"You better not do anything to hurt her or her feelings. If I hear so much as one complaint from her, you're dead."

He then puts his crossbow away, turns around and leaves.

Virgil raises his hands in defence, his chocolate bar still in his mouth as he stares at the crossbow in fear. He watches as the man walks away with his crossbow. Virgil lowers his hands as he finally swallows the chocolate in his mouth before whispering a shaky "What the fuck just happened?"

look, Virgil’s not technically magic in it but he still does magic and the rest of DLAMPR are magic and they all flirt—you might like it, if you haven’t read it already. it has very much the same vibes as what you mentioned you liked in sorcerer!Vee

I recommend this fic to anyone who likes fantasy AUs, but 👑 specifically reminded me of it. so.
