Honda VT250F café racer build

I found these pics on an old Facebook marketplace listing. I can’t seem to paste the link.

There’s not too many cafe racer builds of the VT250 or VTR250, especially the early steel tube frames. So this is going to serve as inspo, even if it’s pretty different from my plan.

Picture this, with larger diameter wire spoke wheels, girder forks, dual front/single rear disc brakes, a black frame, polished engine valve cover and fins, lower angled handlebars, dual rear shocks, and a prettier tank and seat. The tank isn’t too bad, I like the profile and how it hangs over the frame in front, but it’s a bit blocky. I’m not sure exactly what seat design I want, but I’m just not in love with the typical half-domed cafe racer seat.

XELVIS 納車

2025年も1ヶ月を終えようとしています。 今回も久しぶりの投稿です せっかくドメイン料、サーバー代払ってるのでもっと更新すべきなんでしょうけど 昔の様に書くことも、書く意欲も減ってしまって…     そんなことはさておき、 新たなバイクが納車されました。 数年ぶりのバイクです！ HONDA XELVIS VT250F  MC25 新たなと言いながら、30年年以上前のバイクですが…     2台前に乗っていたVT250SPADAの次世代車です パワーは先代に比べ少し下がり36PSですが、まあ従分なパワーでしょう。 そしてホイルベースは少し延長されているので、よりツーリング志向になっている模様です。 まあ、セパハン組んでいくのですが… と言うことで納車された報告でした〜   次回はひとまずタイヤ交換かハンドル周りのお話をしようかと思います。

いや、あれはホンモノとは言いがたいよ。ターボチャージャーにしろ、スーパーチャージャーにしろ、本当の威力を存分に使えば、あんなもんじゃおさまらんね。俺が飛行機いじってた戦争中は、Ｂ29のターボチャージャーの威力を目のあたりにして、もう、悔しくて悔しくてしょうがなかった。俺が整備した飛行機なんか、高々度をゆうゆうと飛ぶＢ29には適わないんだから。
