Introducing my chat mascot, Jorbo, and his favorite vocal stim 👽✨

Jorbos are alien creatures that have infested the moonbase and represent my commoonity! They have a ton of neurodivergent traits that represent auDHD folks like myself and many members of chat.

One of these traits is an upcoming feature from VTS P.O.G. that allows the model to make soundboard noises! Chat can use channel points to redeem "vocal stim" and play a random sound.

They have a ton of species lore which I presented on stream but will be posted soon in the discord for reference! There's also a template for making your own jorbosonas and it's been so fun seeing everyone's creations.

Fun fact: I drew and rigged Jorbo's model myself, he's actually just a live2D item with my arms attached to give the illusion that he's part of my base model!

Hey, what hardware/software setup do you use for face tracking/effects/rigging?

(Ignore this if it's already answered somewhere else and I overlooked it)

I have a cannibalized iphone on a small tripod that feeds its camera input to a program called vbridger. I use an iphone because it has the best face tracking available on the consumer market. That program interprets it as data for steering a vtuber and sends that to another program called vtube studio which houses the model. That program then sends the vtuber model to a third program called OBS, which is where I stream from. I also have a program running called nyarupad which reads inputs from my controller through USB and applies it to the model as a vtube studio plugin, which is how my model's fingers match mine when using a controller. Finally there's a fifth program called vts-pog which handles text-to-speech redeems and acts as another plugin telling vtube studio when to make Morgan talk.

Koffie Debut!!!

me and @kdinjenzen are using this model with VTS Pog so chat can make koffie speak but its a fully functioning model.

this took me like 12 hrs (rigging and art)

might make some not-koffie models for sale

finally found tool that could help communicate on-video on livestream, in specific way can handle.

but it cost $20 ("onStream chat" tool on gumroad).

plus $15 for compatible livestream Text-To-Speech ("VTS pog" tool on itch.io).

so not for now. rip.
