This was supposed to be a fun day with the duo. After all, Reader finally got a break from their job as well as Claude from its. It was a hard week, especially with the recent investigations. But Claude was happy to finally get a break and hang out with its pal. The two decided to go to the mall. After all, it's Saturday and why not? Mall is an interesting place; especially in the G4 district. Malls were a big thing in such a district. The two were there to just shop. Claude needed some things as Reader was there to come along and chat with him. They haven't spoken to him in a while so it was nice to finally talk again. But as they got there, and went inside, they didn't except *this* many people...

As the Reader and Claude walked around, Reader got closer to Claude as they looked around the place. It was a giant crowd, a flood of humans and mutants all around. They tried to keep their breath stabilized but in the end, they couldn't. They were on the verge of tears and panicking as they kept trying to calm down. They couldn't calm themselves down, they were on the verge and we're uncomfortable with everything. It felt like so many eyes all around, even if that's not the truth. It was terrible. Terrifying even. Claude took a while to notice but once he did, he wrapped his metal tail around them, holding them close as he also held their hand. Claude made sure to keep close as it lead the way to outside.

As the two finally got outside, it was pretty much empty. Most were inside so it was a bit more comfortable than being inside. they sat on the outside bench. Claude kept holding their hand as they breathed together. It was worried but didn't show it. It tried the 5-5-5 technique with Reader, by them both breathing in for 5 seconds, 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out. They repeated the process until Reader didn't feel so panicked as they did back inside. ".. Do you want to go back in or do you wish to leave?" It asked them, it held out two hands. The two hands symbolized the two options, he didn't want to overwhelm them even more with speaking so he waited with two hands out. They picked to leave, and so the two left to go somewhere else. A calmer place, and a less crowded than it was with the mall.

Claude and Anxiety! Reader

Claude takes a while to notice the Reader's anxiety unless they explicitly told it about the anxiety

Wether it being social or not, Claude is there to help. It's not the first time, after all, he is a detective/officer thing and has probably seen many bodies (I know he was undercover but still)

Claude would definitely hold their hand in times like these, especially if it was deep

If the Reader wishes, he will let them use his tail as comfort.

But he also uses it to wrap around people to comfort them or just for fun

He'll try whatever he can to make Reader comfortable

Wether it'd be get out of there or just holding their hand in reassurance, he's there for them

But it's kinda hard to tell wether he's genuine or not, since of his cold face

But he'll try to give a reassuring smile to Reader in times of comfort.

Heck, he'll let them fall asleep in his arms while comforting. He doesn't mind at all!

He'll also give two choices and put out two hands for them to pick because he understands some people go nonverbal/too anxious to talk in times like these

In the end; it is really trying its best to find ways to comfort them

I was getting a little nervous when Y/n still hadn’t showed up. She wanted to talk to me and called about coming over about an hour again. Paranoia was starting to set in, I was thinking about what could’ve happened to her, did someone hurt her, was she kidnapped, is..is she dead?!

However, thoughts were broken as I heard my phone ring. I began to pray it was Y/n having an explanation for why she may be late, but unfortunately she had in fact been kidnapped. Everything stopped, and all I could see was red. And soon, a knife in my kitchen would be too.

I’m a detective, I had experience with this before. I can and WILL find her, no matter what. I asked the basic questions, and quickly found out it was a ransom. Nobody else knew at the time, meaning I could do whatever I needed. Or what was deserved..

Y/n’s POV(Your name!)

It was cold, and dark. My thoughts were racing, what am I going to do, what are they gonna do to me, will I be saved?! I was crying and begging. Though my pleading fell onto deaf ears. Though I did get a few shut ups and a lot of threats.

I was waiting each sec hoping someone will burst through the door. But I remember overhearing something when the person was on the phone with my father. They mentioned an address. And suddenly I felt hopeful, that had to mean they could be caught!

But what if they were lying, what if it’s a trick! But my thoughts were broken by yelling and a crash. Almost like the sound of a door being broke down. Is that Claude’s voice..? I became hopeful, and then I could see again. The cloth covering my face was removed. And that’s when I saw Claude.

I was relieved to see Y/n, immediately engulfing her into a hug. “I..I’m so happy you’re alright, the second I heard from your father about the kidnapping..I had to find you, no matter what..” Y/n’s cries were muffled as she dug her head into my shoulder.

This was easy for me to do. Nobody knew, but I placed a tracker on her one day. Suspecting exactly this would happen..Y/n didn’t need to know that though, besides. It helped her. I was happy she didn’t see the mess behind me though. Nor did she notice the blood on my hands.

"Oh hey! How's life been treating you?" You asked him and Claude take a seat beside you.

"Boring! You should tell me some stories to cheer me up" You said while dramatically putting your back of hand at your forehead.

Claude turns at you to see your tear-stained cheeks. He frowned and put his hand on your shoulder.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked and you laughed pitifully.

"Well, I just had tough day today and I feel embarrassed towards myself. Its... I really don't know how to explain it," You explained and you wanted to gulp down your drink until rough yet gentle blue hand hold your wrist.

You always feel happy when you heard his voice saying your name. Then, you felt a hand patting your hair and you sighed calmly. You slowly put down your cup down and hug him.

You turned around swiftly just to see Claude.

"Claude, wanna stay inside my apartment for one night?" You offered, pointing to your apartment.

💙Claude wouldn’t mind if you had kids. However, he would definitely make sure it’s either adoption or surrogacy. He is definitely a stricter grandpa and often watches over them for you.

💙He always wanted children, probably around 4. So he wouldn’t mind watching over your kids or even taking care of them if you had stuff to do or even just needed a break.

💙Claude probably researched a lot about having kids and babies. He helps you a lot with taking care of your kids and the biggest piece of advice he gives you is that if you’re tired and so drained just walk away from the baby for a moment. Take a breather and even take a nap for around an hour.

💙Claude is extremely protective over your kids. If someone even looks at them wrong they’re going missing. He’s a detective so he knows what police officers look for and knows how to avoid showing evidence.

💙Claude honestly takes almost like a father role of your kids at times. He’s pretty strict and tries to teach your kids something at any chance he can.

💙He’s pretty similar to Myers with teaching how to clean up blood, hiding bodies, but he’s a lot better at what to teach considering he’s dealt with murder cases before.
