Thinking about dates with Wally. We like the old fashioned, old timey dates. Taking me out to an old timey diner (makeshift by Julie and Poppy) and sharing a milkshake and hopelessly love struck looks, Wally throwing in quick blinks drinking it with me. Sitting together at his favourite spot by the tree painting together, having him paint me. Simply sitting together, happily watching the other neighbours enjoying their time together. Me sitting with a parasol when it’s hot and sunny, Wally giving me his jacket if it’s cold and dismissing when I tell him to keep it “No, no, don’t worry, neighbour. I’m not cold at all.” And making me chuckle when he sneezes and blushes sheepishly before we go home to sit in front of a warm fire and sharing a blanket and hot cocoa I make for the two of us.

3. Do you ever just casually lay on each other? Whether it be flopping down in each other’s laps or leaning your heads on each other’s shoulders.

Syobai: He very much does not do this. He lets me sit on his lap or lay on him, and he does like it when I do. He’ll tease me sometimes, but he’ll brush his hand across my arm or rest the bottom of his head against mine, and others he’ll reach out for me to lie against him when I sit down beside him. A lot of the time he won’t be in the mood for it and it’s clear when he wants space, but he’ll sigh and hum quietly when he does he is holding me. But Syobai? He’s always the big spoon and has no interest in being the one who’s held.

Wally: This sweetheart? This absolute dreamy Darling? YES!! We only do it when we’re at home together, but if you were to walk in through our door later in the day you will usually find one of us draped over the other, and the other smiling and laughing and staring down at them like a love struck loon. It’s inevitable with how Wally is just the most…

7. Do either of you fall asleep often when cuddling? Who does it more?

Syobai: No. Syobai’s grown to like holding me and having me cuddle up to him, but it’s strictly before we get to sleep. He’ll have an arm over my side or have me lie next to him, but he needs his personal space.

Wally: Wally doesn’t need to sleep, sometimes he entertains himself by pretending, but he’ll always be lying with me cuddling him, or sitting up with me cuddled up to his side when I do. Content with simply watching me sleep with a peaceful smile and waiting until the morning.

3. How would you describe your f/o’s laugh?

Syobai: Light, somewhat like a snicker, almost like he’s laughing at you. It’s as difficult to describe as Syobai is himself because it’s just, him…

Wally: Monotonous. It’s easy for someone to find it unnerving or creepy because Wally never changes his tone when he talks or when he laughs. But to me it’s soft, sweet and comforting to listen to.

7. What does your f/o smell like?

Syobai: Heh… Syobai smells like cigarette, sweat, and a slight smell of coffee and alcohol if he’s been drinking, and slightly tangy from his natural scent. Just, very much off putting for a lot of people, but it’s addicting to me.

Wally: He’s a puppet, he doesn’t really have any kind of smell himself, but he gets other scents stuck on him easily with what he’s been doing. So he often smells like paint, the faint smell of apple, and cakes and other sweets when he’s been helping Poppy with her baking.
