#wait for the upcoming fics

I haven't talked about my latest project publicly yet, only a couple of my friends know, but here's my document's statistics so far. 50K+ words and I'm not even done yet :)

It's a scarian fic! And I really think you guys are gonna like it! It's been a long time since I've written this much this quickly!

Does anyone else, when they're writing multi-chapter fics, jump all over the place when they're writing, or is it just me?

So I'm writing my bucktommy, "Buck transfers to the 217" fic, and I have an outline of where I want to go. I know that I want certain scenes to happen, certain conversations, etc. And the thing is, when I think of those scenes I want to happen, all of a sudden, it starts to unfold in my head, so I write it down before I forget it. There might be some tweaks later on if there are stuff in the preceding chapters that might cause a change, but otherwise, I plan for it to stay mostly as is.

So right now, in my documents file, it has Chapters 1,2 and part of 3, and then sections that might end up being Chapters 5, 8 and 10. So, as I'm writing, I'll continue to write Chapter 3, only for another scene to pop into my head and oop, there's Chapter 7!

...This is why it might take a while for each chapter to come out, FYI 😂

funny thing about disability headcanons is they're usually not something you deliberately plan to write into a character's behavior, you just take a look at their circumstances and think seriously about how it would affect them and the ways they cope and soon enough you're like wait lang. there's a word for this.

1. un cielo di perle part 1 is fully written. it won’t be posted right away, it still needs a good read.

expect some intense encounters, some tension between taehyung and oc, some teasing from both sides. taehyung is a bit of an asshole & oc doesn’t like his attitude 🥴

2. i already started writing part 2, taehyung is still an asshole…

3. all the parts of un cielo di perle already posted will slightly be adjusted. i’ve been really diving into creating this universe these days.

3. a new universe will make its appearance in the upcoming days, i’ll let you discover it 🫣

Cute anecdote for you for your birthday, from this morning: My 10-year-old nephew said “What’s the name of the band Harry Styles used to be in?”

“One Direction?”

“Yeah, that’s it. My teacher is obsessed with them.”

So I did my best to find an appropriate way to say that’s my blorbos-in-law and landed on “This makes me like your teacher so much more! I barely know any of their music and am not obsessed with them but I really love and appreciate people who are!”

And then he requested several of their songs in a row while we made breakfast.

For day 1 choices and consequences

None But You: One of the other human kingdoms kicks up a stink over Callum wanting to marry Rayla. The solution is unorthodox. 

featuring Callum and Amaya parallels/bonding, politics, and prioritizing what you want above all else

for day 2 politics and power

And His Handler: Ezran is having trouble getting a diplomat to go along with his proposed agreement. Luckily, his brother has a plan.

in which Callum is a good High Mage who totally doesn't discreetly threaten / intimidate the diplomat. noo, what would give you that idea?

for day 3 magic and mirrors

A Dark Path: For a second upon coming out of the coin, Kpp'Ar mistakes Callum for his former pupil.

for day 4 i would do anything for you / however dangerous however vile

Anything: Callum completes a frighteningly familiar spell in order to save Ezran's life.

AKA Callum doing the same spell that Viren did to save Soren in order to save Ezran (Viren Heart / Star magic theory here)

for day 5 ruthlessness / temper

Some Say In Ice: Callum didn't think he'd ever be compelled to use the blood freezing spell on anyone. He was wrong.

in which the wrong person messes with Rayla and sees just how much Callum has mastered the Ocean arcanum as a result

because we all love when a caring cutie pie commits some atrocities along the way <3
