Atsushi canonically isn't kind by nature (see Wan ch. 19), but that's okay because you don't have to be motivated by kindness to choose kindness, which is why Atsushi is the narrative's beautiful princess with a disorder anyway.

having literally such a hard time lately so ur gonna be forced to hear me ramble about fluff and comfort w kunikida rn.., when ur going through a hard time he’ll def refer to his list in his ideals of things that make you happy / things you love the most… he also would leave work early to be with you which is literally the unspeakable ik and his other coworkers are just.. so shocked bc damn he must be really head over heels in love with you.., also the part in bsd wan where he helps teach Dazai and atsushi to cook ik he would cook your fav comfort meals and bring it to you in bed and let u sit on his lap and hold u and JUUUUST ugh I need him. him reading u excerpts from his fav poetry books like the nerd he is and doing things like drawing you a warm bath and tenderly brushing your hair and princess carrying you to bed are all things I just need rn - 🌷
