Y'all are missing the brilliance of Smokeweed being an edge Lord. Because what if Weed was their suffix because the leader thought that they were useless, a drain on the clan. So the leader, maybe even Smokeweed's parent, named them -Weed so they'd be reminded of their drain.

I was reading the confession about the Nightwing names and I found that really funny because I’ve been thinking about this for SO LONG. it all started when I watched a warrior cats deep dive by izzzyzzz and she brought up the fact that, due to the rules of cat naming conventions, “Smashmouth, AirPod, Marshmallow, Deathstar, Smokeweed” and such were all valid names in that universe. And I think back to Nightwings, and I silently considered that somewhere out there, there is a world where Carfucker the Nightwing is just as valid of a name as Battlewinner.
