legitimately insane how to some people, "we should wipe out this ethnic group that we've violently constrained to a ghetto because they're just genetically more violent and dangerous" is a reasonable and justifiable statement but it's Nazi Rhetoric to say something like, "it's bad that Israeli civilians are being killed but acknowledging that as tragic includes acknowledging that the almost daily state-sanctioned murder of civilians by the Israeli government is also tragic and unacceptable"

btw guys speaking of Nazi shit - can we check in, alongside what's been done to Palestinians in the last 75 years, what's the Israeli government's take on the Azerbaijani government's newest round of ethnic cleansing of Armenians? oh are the Israeli government's actions maybe not determined by Jewish identity, but by a commitment to colonial supremacy which puts them on the same page as other violently genocidal states like Azerbaijan, the US, and the UK? god can you Even Imagine?

framing Israeli war crimes as synonymous with Jewish identity is pretty fucked up if we're being honest. I don't think that controlling water and power and movement for a captive population and shooting children dead for throwing stones is an inherent value of Judaism, any more than I think the torture carried out at Guantanamo Bay is an inherent value of Christianity - in both cases they're atrocities carried out by a far right genocidal government using religious identity as a shield.

Calling statements like "Israel is committing genocide against the people it's displaced" inherently antisemitic is doing more to further the idea that all Jewish people are associated with Israel than saying "the Israeli government is doing war crimes," which is a statement of fact about a country that exists and does war crimes. Is criticism of Israel as a nation often used as cover for antisemitism? Absolutely. Does that mean the Israeli government isn't doing literal war crimes repeatedly, on record, while talking publicly about scrubbing an ethnic group off the map? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well in the last 48 hours they've definitely cut off water and power to almost 600,000 civilians and allegedly used white phosphorus against civilians so in an extremely factual and unambiguous way yeah man those are Literal War Crimes whoever does them.)

I always found it interesting in how afo went from being one of the most powerful and influential people in japan.....

to only being a mere rumor that people hear on the internet and in passing

and like we know why this happened, all might went and brought afo's empire to its knees upon his return to japan.

it's just fascinating to think about as all might was the first real threat afo had ever faced in his entire villain career. he not only destroyed almost everything he worked to build, but also nearly took his own life and forced him to stay in hiding just to survive. he went from being the most feared villain who was at the top to being reduced to staying in the shadows with people not even being sure he was real in the first place. the fact that all might did all this using his brothers quirk just adds more salt to the wound and serves to further humiliate him. never underestimate how great of a hero all might was back in his prime. makes me sad we'll never get to see more of all might and afo's past struggles with each other because it's so interesting to think about everything that went down then.

#am is one of the people a41 hates the most for a good reason #when you also factor in how a41 wanted people to look at him and how am made it to where no one really knows who he even is...#I just know those years right before canon began where a41 had to wait to make his next move were absolutely miserable

night took a rough turn but i’m thankful for the smell of the dirt & the woods, holy shit

i think i would be a fundamentally different person if it weren’t for this forest

#and i met an Entity #this is like 3 miles in and it’s totally dark #im about halfway across the marsh and i realize i see someone with two dogs #i tell hal to wait and he stops and i grab his leash (he runs wild at night)#and we’re at a weird standstill #it was dark and im much less observant when im upset about something #he had 2 dogs and he was just like tall and wide and i couldn’t tell you anything else #i was probably a similarly nondescript figure with a beast #and the interaction was sooo strange but not unpleasant at all #he had a really deep voice but like it was being ran through a filter it was unusually deep (i mean this fondly not like it’s negative #*negative)#and we’re talking in the wind in the dark of the marsh for a sec about whether or not the gate was closed #and he’s like ‘it was nice seeing you’ which hinted at a level of familiarity even just vibewise #and then as soon as we properly walked away from each other i began to smell candle wax very vividly

#if you want MY serious answer- then of course.#I've always known how short people's lives are- and for a long time- I was unaffected when loved ones die. There was an “eeasy #step by step process for me before. I was and kind of still am welcoming of death.#and when that one person I cared for was ill- I was also quick to acknowledge that it's probably their time #throughout their last remaining days I just waited that maybe when it happens- they can stopped being tubed-#stop suffering.#When my grandfather passed away- I was more grimly reminded that life is truly short #but instead of that quiet “I told you so. I knew he would pass soon.”— what I felt was pure anguish #To pat your grandfather's head one last time- devoid of life as he laid still #That midnight remains clear as day to me. Life is short. I knew that since the beginning.#I didn't shed as much tears as I had when a friend my age had passed on— because I was comforted with the thought that #they had passed months before the pandemic began— and Covid was seemingly a more painful fate #So yes.#I know how hard it is like to move on from someone who does not share your life span. Who had lived longer than you have and will leave #faster than you— despite your neverending comments about ending it all once you've finished your tertiary education #that you spout since childhood.#So. Well. Yeah!!! I know what it's like HAHAHAH. it's S H I T.

Thinks oh so hard abt the spiraling upwards clan founders, especially the birchclan founders. Silly lil kitties who's pasts are drenched in blood with the primary regret of not drawing it sooner

#rat rambles #oc posting #warriors posting #spiraling upwards #long story short they had a shitty awful terrible leader who sucked absolutely ass and they tore him to shreds #I mean that literally they pinned him onto the mountain side and slashed and mauled the shit out of him so hard that his lives evaporated #and several of the cats involved in that scene are sill alive and major parts of the story and I love them #oh also the cat that pinned him through a stab through the throat was his own daughter btw everyone hated his ass so much #and for good reason get his ass #alas in the main story I dont rly get to go too deep into how he harmed everyone involved mostly just three main ones #aka bristlestar because shes murtlepaw's ghost mom dawncrackle because hes also haunting murtle and gullspot because shes bristle's kit #so basically all the flashbacks we get involve those three in some form or another #honeystar was also there and involved but Im not currently planning on having her rly talk abt that #most of her more modern angst is the fact that she was forced into leadership against her will #and shes been alive long enough that shes been leading birchclan far longer than she ever lived in her old clan #but she did go through a lot of shit before birchclan was founded and it definitely shaped her a lot #she used to be a very determined and high spirited lil kitty cat who tried to be optimistic #but her family began to slowly be picked off one by one by both the old leader and the one whod later get evicerated #some of the older cats around her hoped it make her back down from her revelutionary ideas but she noticed that and it backfired on them #instead of being worn down to submission she became absolutely Furious and began to lash out more and become more demanding #it got to the point that she really only had two friends in the entire clan and one of them was her aunt whod later also die after coming #out abt having witnessed the leader killing his own kits #that was the final fucking straw for her and she was fully on board when bristle and dawn started looking for cats to join their rebellion #she did get rly frustrated with them as they waited patiently for the right moment but her remaining bestie kept her from going apeshit #so once the big fight finally broke out she was more than eager to join the hoard of cats chasing the bastard upwards #now unlike some of the other cats involved this legitimately actually made her feel a lot better for a while #for the first time in ages she finally felt like she could be optimistic abt smth again and was excited abt the idea of leaving this place #she had lost so much in this damn place since she was an apprentice and just wanted to finally be able to rest easy #but once they got to their new territory and set up camp things went south real fast as a flood fucked everything up #and after losing the only cat she had left in her life and losing her tail and being made deputy on top of that she deteriorated quickly
