Wasps are fantastic for the environment! They can help pollinate flowers and provide a valuable food source for birds. Wasps are not only a necessary part, but a good part! They are truly not deserving of the hate- and all for stinging humans. In fact, wasps typically only sting humans if they feel threatened- say, if someone gets near a wasp nest and starts waving their hands. I speak as someone who got stung by a wasp and started screaming like my leg got cut off when I say I genuinely love wasps.

Also, remember to reblog your favourite polls for exposure! (exposure like when you’re exposed to the fact that the KISS Scooby Doo crossover does actually exist, scarring you for life)
Saw the most prettiest lady today! She had a perfect body, and color! Absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
Bug tw
She’s a Blue Mud Dauber Wasp! Apparently, based on surface research, she’s a non aggressive species of wasp. So if you leave her alone, she’ll leave you alone
Definitely recommend searching up professional pictures of them! Absolutely gorgeous bug
No crafting updates, but I was going through my “mystery art supplies” drawer and found my sketchbook! Past me apparently was drawing insects and the saddest cat ever
The wasps always get a bit antsy looking for food during Autumn so I decided to help out a bit! Good to know I've made a good impression on the local wasps community.
When I was a little girl very often a Wasps nest would be growing on my front porch Sometimes for so long without being noticed that it would be huge. Well my dad used to make me put Gasoline in a cup and hold it up to the Wasp nest but I was short so I could never tell when to pull it away and I'd be stung by wasps All over my face almost every time. Well I think he just enjoyed watching me get Hurt and laughing at me he would only do these things to me never my Brother
[ID: a digital drawing of Jane Prentiss from the shoulders up. She is looking over her shoulder with wide eyes and smiling. Jane is pale, with dark hair, a grey overcoat, a red dress, and holes in her skin. Behind her is a wasp's nest, with wasps and larvae on it. The background is yellow watercolour streaks, and the whole thing has a slight yellow overlay. end ID.]

Nothing to do with twisted, but I noticed you seem to like insects and weird shit so 🥹 2 years ago i took a pic and a video of a weird bug but didn’t know what it was. I think I finally found the exact species YESTERDAY (a parasitic wasp called Megaplectes monticola ssp. blakei ) and I find there’s only a handful (like 8-12) confirmed observations of this thing in the world, and no information on it except what it looks like 🫥 I don’t know what to do with this info
