i just watched this week's watcher weekly+ but what the fuck-

Today’s Watcher Weekly+ just made the investment in their Patreon 110% worth it.

Ryan would still be a disaster if he was high out of his mind while ghost hunting.

Why you may ask?

He’d be giggling like a fool at everything, going “oh fuck— ghosts are here!” before giggling himself silly. Every noise would make him whoop and holler, jumping around like a bouncy ball. He’d be over the top and hyperactive, probably amping up the ‘I’m gonna annoy Shane to feel calm’ factors to critical levels.

Just:

“Hey Shane, hey Shane, hey Shane. Shane, I want to ask you something.”

“Ryan, please. We’re trying to hear the spirit box.”

“No but Shane do you think ghosts still fuck? Like forreal do you ever think about them getting down and dirty?”

“I’m this close to throwing this hunk of junk at your head Ryan, try me.”

“How would that even work? Like would they just—“

*Shane proceeds to release the loudest sigh while staring into their camera with the most defeated look while Ryan continues on his strange train of thought*

Since I could not be here for the majority of Steven Week, please accept this patreon snippet as my humble apology. On this week’s Watcher Weekly+ Steven talked a bit about the behind-the-scenes things with Watcher’s new Branded Production Manager and had this to say about branded content:

“I feel like my philosophy at Watcher with branded content has always been, if a brand pays us to make a video, great. But I still want that video to be something that we would make apart from them. It has to have enough creative intention, has to have the right vibe with the channel, has to feel like authentically from us.”

I always find a look into how the company works really interesting, especially when Steven talks about it, and he is always very thoughtful about the things he says.
