I got into wax seals back in February and it's become a little bit of an obsession.

I want to get so many different colours and stamps to add to my collection so I can create so many cool colour mixtures.

I've also been making the hearts you see in the above photo and giving them to friends, one heart is enough wax for 1 seal. I've made hundreds at this point. I've given a few pots full of them away and I'll make up some more to give to friends.

Stamp Seal with a Toadstool Base. Manufactured in the 2nd half of the 19th century, presumed Russian origin. Materials are vermeil (silver gilded with gold), enamel paint and shell. From the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Geneva, inventory number: 018080.
