i haven’t read dotc in a while but half moon was probably at her most interesting point in character when she was briefly there in the sun trail. when she’s with jayfeather her being there is so forced upon us because every character they make needs a love interest. as for when she appears in the final battle that’s probably worse because she just appears, goes, “hi jayfeather <<<3333333” and then i don’t think she’s even seen in starclan after that. she was at her best when jayfeather was nowhere near her and she was portrayed as a mysterious old character with a hidden life and story we never got to see (we technically did in po3, which is the only reason why it’s portrayed that way). i don’t hate half moon but i hate the erins for tossing the potential she could have had were she executed differently.

currently studying the Farnese ceiling in my art history class, did a fun (quick and messy) parallel of jay and Half Moon to a tiny section of the ceiling.

I've done this only once in the past, wc in an ARH setting. I should do this more, its fun. love talkin about ARH.
